Diner Reviews
  • "The only issue we has was waiting for the waitress because she kept forgetting about us."

  • "We were seated immediately upon arrival which was great, even though the restaurant was very busy. Food was good, but the restaurant was too noisy. Wasn't a place to talk and relax."

  • "Nice food but could have been a little less rushed - had our entree delivered whilst still eating appetisers leaving us to eat our entree almost cold."

  • "Lots of loud contemporary music. Great for the younger set."

  • "One of the best places to eat in Waikiki. Located in the Royal Hawaiian shopping center at the corner of Lewers St and Kalakaua Ave. You will be glad that you ate here."

  • "We have dined here on numerous occasions and have never been let down by this great establishment. The location is convenient, service good, the price is right and food always full of flavour. We would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good meal at the right price in Honolulu."

  • "Convenient location, down the street from our Condo. Made the online reservation 45 minutes prior and upon arriving, had a brief wait, but got in on time. Food and service was excellent."

  • "This was our family's best dinner while visiting Waikiki! We were seated quickly with our reservation and didn't wait long for the great food! We loved all the dishes we ordered. Kids menu is available which was great for our youngest."

  • "We always enjoy this place, Service is always good and attentive in this busy restaurant."

  • "We've been longtime residents of Hawaii and had come to make PF Chang's a staple for family special occasions and to take visitors to from the mainland. We were disappointed when they closed the Auahi Street restaurant. It was convenient and away from the Waikiki tourist mob and parking problems. It was a "local's" restaurant. We have been to the Lewers street site several times since then and have found it to be over-crowed with a noticeable diminished quality of food and service. Unfortunately it is no longer our first choice :-("

  • "Reliable and good value. Delicious P.F. Chang food. Cheerful staff. But make a reservation for the evening."

  • "Did not think we got much bang for the buck. Way to expensive for the meal. Would not go back. Have tried several other Chinese restaurants and this one would be at the bottom of my list. Service was good and waiters were kind and considerate."

  • "Love PF Chang's...outmost favorite place to dine in Waikiki."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "Normally I would say that does not make sense. Just because a restaurant is busy doesn't mean it can't be good - usually being busy helps; however, this PF Chang's sacrifices good food in order to move the diners quickly. I had to come here a lot when my husband was ill in the hospital nearby. Servers are quick to tell you they don't operate (or cook) like mainland PF Chang's. It's true. Very busy, very noisy, and food is only marginal. I love my PF Chang's on the mainland, but not in Honolulu."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed our evening meal at P F Changs. We were seated outdoors and the noise level was not too high. We had Mongolian Beef with a side of mushrooms and all was delicious. The service was excellent. We also had cheesecake for dessert and was very good We will come again."

  • "Never been to a PF Changs restaurant before, but always heard good things about them. We were in Waikiki for the week, and as there was one in the hotel complex (Royal Hawaiian) we decided to try it out. It is essentially your typical American Style Chinese food, but in my opinion just better quality! We sat outside on their amazing patio! Very beautiful on a warm Hawaiian night. Our waiter was outstanding, although I cannot remember his name. If you like American Style Chinese food, you will enjoy PF Changs"

  • "The restaurant was packed. It is a very large two story restaurant that can handle a lot of diners. We originally arrived at the upper floor but were told we needed to see the hostess on the first floor. After we went down there we were told that our seats would be on the second floor, so back up we went. Do yourself a favor and start on the ground floor. We were seated promptly and everything seemed OK. However the waiter brought the wrong dish for my wife. Rather than let mine get cold, I began to eat, I was almost done by the time my wife was finely served. We left full, but the entire experience was lacking."

  • "Our server's name was Sasha and she was outstanding. She was extremely attentive and friendly and even gave us extra rice to pack up with our to go meals! The food is mediocre but I enjoyed the ambiance. :-)"

  • "Nothing special about the food, similar to Panda Express, but higher price. Hostesses at the entrance were not friendly. No smiles, no hello. Looked like they didn't want to be there. Our witness was friendly though."

  • "We have always loved the lettuce wraps so for that alone we would return to another P.F. Changs This location was just ok otherwise. I always love a good martini before dinner, Couldn't get one here. They didn't stock my two favorite vodkas, Tito's or Stolichniya. I know.......really??? The service was good and I have to say the waiter was truly sorry for the lack of the vodka. I ordered the vegetable lo mein and it was good. Veggies were cooked perfectly, my husband ordered cashew chicken and it was fine, nothing special. The decor was unremarkable unlike the Vegas location with the incredible ceiling lighting. Anyway, skip this location unless you're craving the lettuce wraps and then maybe take them to go."

  • "Food was delicious. The crispy green beans are amazing....as are the chicken lettuce wraps....excellent ! Service was a.bit slow however we arrived as soon as Happy Hour began could've been the reason for the slower than usual service. Value for our dollar is very very good! Can't beat it!"

  • "This was my second time dining at P F Chang's. Each time time the restaurant was very accommodating and sat us down very quickly by an attentive hostess. The wait staff, on both occasions, were very familiar with the menu and were very interested in looking after their diners, without being overbearing. The cocktails arrived quickly. Soon thereafter, the appetizers were served hot and fresh from the kitchen. Main course was exceptional. The first visit I had the duck. It was superb. On my second visit I experienced the short ribs...also excellent. Any leftovers were quickly placed in containers and a fashionable shopping bag. I anticipate we will be visiting P F Chang's a few more times before we fly home.."
