"We sat outside and had the sake, skewers, and sushi. I liked the spicy tuna better than the CA roll and the steak skewer better than the chicken. Cold sake was delicious and perfect for the hot day."

"We had a Travelzoo coupon with 2 miso soup, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 desserts and the options are limited but our waiter was right-on with his recommendations; each and every dish was delicious and we were stuffed when we left."

"The food was okay, but I was really disappointed. They recently changed their menu and not for the better. I have never had a bad experience here and this has always been my favorite place. It wasn't terrible, but with the variety of restaurants to choose from in LA/Santa Monica, If I never go again I won't miss it. The food is not on the level it used to be. It went from Amazing to just okay and forgettable. On a positive note if you like a great ambiance it still has one of the best atmosphere's and has a great bar and cool happy hour, you won't hate the place but to anyone who has been a frequent visitor it just doesn't stand out like it did before."

"Previously went to another big named Sushi place around the corner, but Ozumo is the place to be. Not as loud and exciting, but the food and service is fantastic. Don't let the Mall location fool you this is worth the effort. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended."
