The food was amazing - the hanabi was so perfect it actually sent my friend and I into a giggle-fest over just how good it tasted (but I'm sure the sake had something to do with that too...). It was also beautifully presented, with perfect portion sizes to split each dish between two of us. However, it was really the service that impressed me the most. Even with awful service, I probably would still recommend Ozumo because of the food, but our server, Megu, really made the evening special. We had an excellent assortment of dishes including sushi, plus two desserts. Everything was impeccably presented and super fresh. The ambience and décor with low lighting is such a nice departure from a lot of restaurants. Tables were not squished together, very spacious feeling.

The food is consistently good-innovative and delicious. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. WE ordered a small plate to share with cocktails, and for dinner ordered two salads and four main dishes: two ribs, one chicken and one sukiyaki. Our bill, divided by five, was not nearly as much as I thought it would be. High prices had been mentioned in every review I had read. The salads were good, not spectacular, but the ribs and chicken dishes were great. Sukiyaki
was good. I definitely will return, though maybe not on a Friday night. It was quite noisy. The Monday sushi special is something

He said the steak he ate was "elegant" and when the busser took my plate and immediately wiped up my spilled drops of soy sauce, my mother said: "now this, is a restaurant."
