Oyster ClubMother's Day BrunchThoroughly enjoyable afternoon with Mom and the family. The roof deck under the trees was an unexpectedly nice surprise.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were seated right on time,We were seated right on time, as we had an early reservation on Mother's Day (5:00). Atmosphere was lovely with fresh air and light streaming through the open windows. Service was attentive and well paced, we never felt rushed nor did we have to wait for a second glass of wine. We were all mostly satisfied with our meals which were served in reasonable portions, attractively plated and very tasty, however they did appear to have a cooled a bit by by the time they reached our table. Overall a pleasant experience and we would return.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat array of all locallygreat array of all locally grown, and raised foods, that were expertly chosen by the staff. a very nice presentation of all foods from salads to desserts. well worth the hour travel that brought us to the restaurant, based on a recommendation from a friend. of course, the beautiful surroundings of the shoreline adds to the experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice rest. and mealTwo work colleagues and I went here after a conference. The food was very good, and the ambiance was nice for an evening dinner, The dining room was full, but we had reservations. One of the nicer restaurants in Mystic. I would highly recommend it.
One note: the wine list is on the pricier side.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic dining in MysticMussels in coconut milk, veal tacos, tagliatelle---all divine....

Local oysters at Happy Hour--it doesn't get better than this!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and excellentGreat service and excellent food waitress was very personable Oysters were great!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMtasty but priceyThe food was fresh and delicious, but pricey for the area and ambience. The menu was limited due to their source local philosophy. We really enjoyed our meal. The homemade ice cream was awesome.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been here at least threeI've been here at least three times and everytime has been absolutely amazing. The staff is positive and knowledgeable of their menus. Everyone always has a smile on their face and an answer to any questions you may have about the food. The food is impeccable. All locally bought, it's fresh and new every night. Even if you think there's nothing on the menu to suit your palate, I can guarantee whatever is ordered will make your taste buds look alive. It's a must eat.I'm a fan of farm to table restaurants and Oyster Club does not disappoint. The food was wonderful, cooked just right. My wife is a fan of oysters and said there were the best she's had. I think this is a hidden gem in Mystic.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMdelicious...again!This was our third time dining here and it was just as delicious as the first time.
This is my first review, so I'll describe all three dining occasions: dinner in the restaurant, lunch in the restaurant, lunch at the bar.
Atmosphere: beautiful building, nicely decorated interior. Love that you can see into the kitchen when you walk in. The bar is cozy with a few tables and about 8 seats at the bar itself. Oyster shucking station at the bar. Neighborhood-feel, warm staff.
Drinks: You must try the grapefruit martini - delicious! And while I didn't have a bloody mary, they looked fabulous.
Food: Delicious! MUST TRY: the chowder, new england style. you'll never want another chowder again. And the lobster roll - warm and perfect.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Dining ExperienceMy friends & I had a delicious meal at the Oyster Club with excellent service from Laura. This was a special occasion with a group of friends who all love great food. This restaurant was perfect for us. We hope to return soon!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place!Picture your perfect seafood restaurant. That's what Oyster Club is. Everything was spectacular, from their crisp clam chowder to their brilliant lobster rolls to their delicious cocktails. They also validate for parking in the lot nearby, so parking was much easier than expected.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMOur Favorite Date Night SpotOyster Club is our date night spot. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The service is friendly and spot on. We love that the food is all local and that the menu changes daily. The steamed mussels are delicious as is the chowder and of course the oysters! Every dessert we have ordered is delectable. The Oyster Club is definitely the neighborhood gem. Reservations are recommended because of the small dining room.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, service and ambiance,Great food, service and ambiance, will be back for sure.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe menu is very creativeThe menu is very creative and the meals are always quite tasty. Small kids do not fit inn no sorry,,,. Did not visit the bar. It is a good input for Mystic food variation .4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFourth visit and we enjoyedFourth visit and we enjoyed it as much as previous visits. I am not a fan of fixed price menu, but this one was better than most.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe reviews were right on!The reviews were right on! The food here is amazing. Service was great and they are very accommodating if you have any food allergies. Must eat here if you are ever in Mystic! Just don't get this restaurant confused with S&P Oyster Co.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI had the hamburger whichI had the hamburger which was one of the best that I ever had! My wife and daughter had the homemade pasta, which they said was better than most Italian eateries we enjoy! The mussels that my son ordered were as good as the ones in "Steamers" up in Hyannisport! We are definitely recommending the Oyster Club to all our friends. Thank you so much! The Schwalb's3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA special placeMy wife and daughter and I were given a gift certificate to the Oyster Club. We booked an early lunch since this was Easter weekend and we expected a crowd. As it turned out , we were the first group to arrive. Wait staff was very attentive , friendly and fun. So we were having a good time right from the start. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We tried the New England clam chowder, their version of a cheese steak and the ladies each had a lobster roll. Presentation was very nice and food, outstanding! Delicious ! A real treat! We were not disappointed by any item we ordered. Since this was a special lunch we did something we never do: we ordered two desserts. They were wonderful! A perfect ending to our meal!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect, fresh farm/sea to table!Third time we have been there and it gets nbetter every time. Although the bar is small and was crowded the bar staff was attentive and my Corpse Reviver was spot on. We were seated at the time we had reserved and from there the evening really took off. They have a good wine list and we chose Johnathan Edwards Stone Table Red, a good go to as one in our party is not an adventurous wine drinker. We had three different starters but the highlight was definitely the Sunny Side goose egg with fried pork skins. It was so rich and delicious it makes chicken eggs seem like a waste of time. We ordered three different entrees and all three were amazing. I wish I had more space, just go.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMSince the menu changes daily,Since the menu changes daily, if you see something you want to try, you'd better order it. That's how we ended up with three appetizers at a table for two. My husband enjoyed everything he got (squid in a spicy broth, charcuterie plate, and tagliatelle ragu), but my pork three ways fell short. The chop was tougher than expected and cool to the touch, as if it had rested too long while the rest of the dish was prepared. Dessert always makes up for any dinner shortcomings.
This was our third time to visit the Oyster Club. We enjoy the food combinations and thoughtfulness, as well as the good service. I find everything to be salty for my palate, but my husband likes it just fine.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMYou need to go there....Really special offerings on the menu.
Would definitely go back when in area.
We were in Mystic for St Patrick parade.
They were so attentive and the food was really outstanding.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place, thank you!Great food, atmosphere and bar staff. You must have the Bloody Oyster and the house made ice creams, not together of course.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMI plan to visit this restaurantI plan to visit this restaurant as often as I can travel up to Mystic. The food was stellar, absolutely one of the best meals I have ever had. The servers were proud of the restaurant and the farm to table practice is amazing.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food with a creativeWonderful food with a creative spin. Always something new and different, as well as options for those less adventurous. Fresh and flavorful.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again Oyster Club didOnce again Oyster Club did not disappoint.
