  • "I've been to this restaurant multiple times... and it is always a decent place to eat.... it is a little pricey but good"

  • "The menu is a bit off the beaten path, which is part of the attraction. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!"

  • "We always love food that is fresh...farm to table ot farm to fork as the Brits say! New menu every day....as my wife and Iove a wide range of foods and flavours, if you want something new and possibly different, this is the place to go....wine list is good...lot's of Italian ( missed the Italian wine class..so heaven knows what I should order)..but other good choices from the old and new world."

  • "Had the vegetarian option, and a perfect salad. Almond butter cake was perhaps the best dessert I've ever had, with a dollop of freshly whipped cream. Again, perfect."

  • "We have been excited to try this place for years and it has always been busy. Finally we planned ahead with a reservation and we will definitely be doing that again. The food was excellent. The menu was limited but as a foodie I really enjoyed trying the different courses. The staff was pleasant and attentive but it was about an hour from when we walked in the door to when we got our food. We noticed that there wasn't a lot coming out of the kithen which was odd as it was full. As I said, worth the wait as once it arrived the food was amazing. We had appetizers to hold is over and the dessert came out in plenty of time, it was just the entree that took a while."

  • "I had made reservations for two for Saturday night and was seated immediately upon arrival. The staff was more than friendly including our waitress who was knowledgable of the menu. We devoured a selection of Fishers and Moonstone oysters from the raw bar which were amongst the tastiest and freshest oyster I've ever enjoyed. I couldn't help but notice how beautifully cleaned and prepared they were and contemplated putting in a second order. The dinner menu was an impressive array of land and sea options. We decided on the Crispy Fried Tofu and Pan Roasted NY Strip which were both cooked to perfection with perfectly paired sides. The portions were generous and the dessert delectable. We'll definitely be back!!!!"

  • "We really disliked this restaurant and most of the boisterous pretentious folks dining next next to us. Food leaned too much into the "if it's wacky, it must be good". Portions were very small Price tag was very high. Too many other gems around the Mystic Bridge to eat here ever again."

  • "Nice location on Water Street in Mystic. Small comfortable space. Excellent service and food. Just the right size servings; don't expect a giant plate of food here. It is all about the quality of the locally sourced ingredients. I stopped in for a late (9pm) lite bite. I had Noank oysters and RI littlenecks to start. Very good and served ice cold. Beef tartar was another light bite that was a taste sensation. Finally a bowl of New England Clam Chowder which was very flavorful and much lighter than expected. Probably the best I have had. Excellent cocktails and a good choice of tap beers. Service was as good as it gets. Enjoy."

  • "Really great spot if you're looking for a nice meal in Mystic. Less touristy than other spots, and while it's a little more expensive the food is delicious, fresh, local and the techniques are straight out of the best gastropubs in NYC. The chowder was delicious, a higher-end take on a New England Classic.I loved this place and will definitely be making it our spot in Mystic!"

  • "I love this restaurant. I love the that the menu changes frequently and the items are not the same old choices from typical restaurants. Great wine list and cocktail menu too. The staff is always nice and friendly. I'd eat here every night if I could."

  • "Had an excellent dinner last year when we visited the area and an equally great meal recently. Both fish and beef cooked to perfection with delightful and interesting sides. Sunday/Monday 1/2 price for bottle of wine was a nice bonus. For a cold Monday night in March, it was busy. That's a great sign that the locals appreciate The Oyster Clubs consistently wonderful food and good service."

  • "4 of us made a reservation for a Saturday night . . . restaurant was bustling but we found a table in the bar to wait and enjoy a drink. We were seated within about 20 minutes . . .and had a wonderful dinner. The men selected steaks, even though they felt they should have ordered fish . . .but the steaks were amazing (we all tried it!) And the varied selection of oysters and huge portion of muscles kept the women very happy. Our server, and actually all the staff, were very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definite recommend Oyster Club . . .and be coming back!"

  • "The Oyster Club is a great addition to the number of good restaurants in Mystic. The food was good, the wait staff very adequate and the ambiance very nice. The only suggestion I have is that the number of dollar signs indicating the level of price should be changed from $$ to $$$."

  • "The chicken and waffles were exceptional, veal and pork meatballs with whipped ricotta and smoked olives/olive oil were to die for! Bread soup was inspiring. I cannot get this meal out of my mind! Thank you Oyster Club!"

  • "After a year of trying for last minute reservations I decided to plan it. What a night! Fabulous food, amazing service by every staff member you might just pass by and a lively crowd that was enjoying themselves and not at the expense of people around them. This is by far my favorite restaurant in southeastern Ct. It competes with the NY food scene."

  • "I love the fact that everything you get is so fresh and incorporates our local farmers, bread makers and fishermen. It was fabulous and have recommended it many times over already. Had been in a few times for happy hour and the wine and oysters were delicious. We really enjoyed Rocky "the shucker". He did a great job and our oysters looked great and no grit. So clean which isn't always the case. Your place is my new favorite."

  • "I met friends for Sunday Brunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. The food was spectacular; the staff was welcoming and attentive but never intrusive. Service was terrific."

  • "We had brunch here on Valentine's day weekend (on Saturday). The NE clam chowder was outstanding and so were the raw little neck clams. The lobster roll... delicious!"

  • "While their menu is smaller than other Mystic restaurants, their menu changes daily and is always fresh. Their food (flavors, freshness, presentation, portion size) far exceeds any other restaurant in town. The service is excellent but their food is the star!"

  • "We have been tothe Oyster Club before, and wanted to come back for Valentines Day dinner. We had a great time, food was excellent. Thanks!"

  • "to deliver the goods! We had another fantastic meal and impressed with their unique preparations. This reminds me of the Forest Gump quote, "My momma always said, Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." At Oyster Club, whatever you get is going to be delicious!"

  • "The atmosphere is quaint, however you'll feel every step people take as the old floor bounces and creeks. They should have cut the floor out and just put and old style wood finish on top of modern framing. The food was overpriced and the quantities were small. It's for food snobs who like claiming that they ate locally harvested fresh food. The food was good but not spectacular. 2 drinks, 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts = $125. My $40 steak ordered medium came out well. They said the right things but seemed snotty about it. Like how dare I send it back. If it was a $20 steak I wouldn't have, but at a premium restaurant I expect it to be perfect. If you want premium, flavorful food, go to Prime."

  • "Oyster Club remains our favorite restaurant in the whole area! It's so nice to be able to go out to a meal and not worry about the quality of the food…Oyster Club is always superb and their farm/sea-to-table philosophy means fantastic meals every time!"

  • "Friendly attentive waitstaff. Locally procured ingredients prepared in a creative way. The food looked great and tasted even better. I thought it was a nice touch to provide the supplier credits at the bottom of the menu."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner very much. The service was great and our waitress was friendly. We were asked very nicely if we would consider moving from our table to another table to accommodate a larger party that would fit better at the table we were presently at. We had no problem doing that and actually liked our second table better. As a result, the restaurant pick up the tab for our first drink. It was unnecessary but it was a nice touch. I had a steak that was delicious."
