The owner/host was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The wait staff was superb. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and interesting. The music was FANTASTIC and made the experience all the more inviting. AND THE FOOD---everything was perfect--and we never have dessert at a restaurant--but we indulged because it was all so good. Using Open Table was an excellent way to make reservations--quick and convenient.

We had a lovely lunch in a nice setting - the avocado BLT was great and my husband enjoyed the reuben sandwich. Our only shock was in ordering a piece of carrot cake - only to find out it was $9, which seemed a bit overpriced!!

The owner is your server so you get the idea of the quality they offer. Even the chef brought out our food. Nice touch. A bit pricey but if you add in the uniqueness and the fact they had a man playing guitar and singing classics with a great voice...well, maybe it wasnt pricey afterall. The food menu is limited but on the money so to speak. In fact its very limited and the reason its not posted. Be prepared to drop over $100 for two with dessert and drinks.

Went for lunch on a whim and went back the next evening for dinner with my boys. The food is terrific - best fried oysters and I've had since moving to Maryland. The menu is varied, the dishes are creative, the appetizers are amazing and large portions, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great - unique and definitely not stuffy. Our new favorite restaurant.

  • Great Little Oxford Greens
    OpenTable Diner Since 2013
    Dined on 1/24/2013
Oxford Greens is a wonderful little restaurant on a back street in the lovely town of Easton, MD. Set in a quaint, brink, former neighborhood grocery, the restaurant is decorated to resemble and antiques/paintings gallery. The food is exquisite. The hanger steak was perfectly done with wonderful seasonings, the home-made baquettes to die for---light and crispy. The chocolate mousse cake for dessert was to die for. Can't say enough about this little place. With several $19.95 prix fixe dinners on the menu each night, its easy to have a special dinner without budget-busting.

We've been to this restaurant three time now and it keeps getting better. The proprietor team does an excellent job with personal service, the right recommendations, and compiling a menu with something for everyone. Each item is incredibly fresh. To make it even better, the shopping is a fun way to spend part of the meal. Beautiful, unique Irene's are all around and as Gary puts it "everything's for sale!" We'll be back again and again.

From the appetizers to the desserts all was a pleasing experience. The mussels, coconut shrimp and fried green tomatoes were all delectable. We each had a different entree so we could share: skate wing, crab cakes, crab & country ham alfredo and bone-in pork chop with oyster stuffing. The chop was the best I've ever eaten! Atmosphere is like you're at a friends house for a dinner party...very enjoyable evening!

What if your eccentric aunt also happened to be a gourmet cook? That is what if felt like dining at Oxford Greens. The ambiance is part general store, part antique store, and full of kitsch, but they really deliver the goods when it comes to the food. A caprese salad with gorgeous heirloom tomatoes, rack of lamb cooked to perfection, and roast chicken that was delicious. We tried the amaretto cheese cake (a riff of tiramasu), that was also excellent.

It is unreal that there are so many excellent restaurants in Easton. Oxford Greens is a late arrival on our recurring restaurant tour of the neighborhood. It rises to the top of the list for great food and overall superlative ambience. This place should not be missed or overlooked for a more well known restaurant in town! My wife had a salad (made to order) and a small steak. I had the pork belly appetizer and crab cakes. All were exceptional. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had--and I have sampled many restaurants from upper Anne Arundel County to Talbot County. As has already been noted, it's a very cute and quiet setting. Service and overall welcoming spirit are second to none. Food prepared to order so be patient.
