This was the first time I had tried it. The menu was certainly distinctive and interesting, and featured an appetizer I've never tasted which is sauteed octopus tentacles, which were interesting and something that's worth trying again. They offer this, presumably, as an alternative to the usual breaded and deep fried calamari, which I happen to love but which this restaurant does not have.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall, the food was excellent.Overall, the food was excellent. However, the grilled octopus, which we have had several times before, wasn't as flavorful as it has been in the past. My duck breast was perfectly done, and very tasty with a huckleberry sauce. The food is fresh, prepared with skill and love, and the service is wonderful. It is upscale Italian faire, seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. Great food and a good spot to meet good friends. we live ~ 35 miles northeast of Eugene and our friends live about the same distance due east of Eugene.
