Ouzo BayNice Place with a great ambienceOuzo Bay is a great addition to Baltimore's restaurant and bar scene. I've been twice and only had seafood, which I judge as fair. My friends have had meat and assure me that it's superb. The ambience, food and service were excellent; no expense spared in opening this restaurant; even the plates that the food were served on were beautiful. We went for Mother's Day Brunch and we will definitely be returning without the kids for a romantic dinner.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTasty Mother's Day!Took my wife and college aged daughter to Ouzo Bay for the first time on Mother's Day and we were all very pleased with the quality, presentation and taste of our food. We shared the spanakopita, lamb meat balls and cheese stuffed calamari as appetizers and they were all very good. My wife ordered the lamb shank and it was excellent, while my daughter ordered the seafood pasta, which was loaded with fresh shellfish and scallops.
We will be back, especially when the weather warms up to dine on their outdoor patio.
Howard, our server, was attentive and very friendly.

The service could have been a bit speedier, especially at the beginning when we had to wait a bit long for someone to take our drink order, but things picked up after that. It is a lovely place, but like many new restaurants a bit too loud (this seems to be some sort of trend). They were beautifully presented and tasted fresh and flavorful. The wait staff was attentive to water and to our wine without overpouring the wine. The bread was delicious. We decided to go with Greek wine and loved the Tempernillo/Cab blend that didn't break the bank but was a perfect complement to our meals. This was when they first opened and weren't yet as popular. The second time we went on a Saturday night. They were a bit overwhelmed with their new success. There were 6 of of us and the restaurant is not very large so there were few large tables. The evening only would have one negative was that we were at a table just inside the door basically in the coat rack. Too small a space for this size table. Although they attempted to not be disruptive, everytime someone needed a coat we were bumped or interupted. Deliciously and simply prepared fresh seafood - not to be missed. Service attentive and well trained. Good bargains on the wine list and attentive wine service (not something you usually get in restaurants these days). We will definitively go back very soon.1/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThe atmosphere at Ouzo BayThe atmosphere at Ouzo Bay was very lively. Our table for dinner was in the bar area, which was hopping all night. The clientele at the restaurant were very posh and fancy -- I saw many men in suits throughout the night. The food and service were good. My only complaint was about the bronzino. I know it was prepared Meditteranean style which was basically deboned and then flavored with salt and pepper but it was very boring. I should have got the steak.11/23/2012 12:00:00 AM
