  • "I have said, and always will say, this is the best restaurant in town...bar NONE! Except in Brussels, Out of the Fire has the best mussels anywhere. They have a nice "bite" to them, the broth is rediculously wonderful and the bread that is served with the mussels are perfect for dunking. Service is always top notch, never had any complaints and we've been going there for 10 years. Hats off to Amy for training her staff well...other restaurants could learn from her and her staff."

  • "Out of the Fire is always a friendly site for lunch or dinner. Our waitress was excellent; she recited the specials and desserts with enthusiasm, was there when we needed her, but not intrusive. The owner was on site, and welcoming as well as checking to make sure our dinners were up to par. Couldn't go higher with another star on the food, but that probably due to what we ordered and personal tastes. The menu offerings are varied, and usually we've been more than satisfied."

My wife and I had the salads and pizzas, the pizzas we ordered were extremely well made and tasty!! The waitress recommended the fig jam procuttio and goat cheese- a GREAT RECCOMENDATION!! Would definitely recommended this restaurant."

Ordered paella for two (excellent, though only drwaback was only two large shrimp) as main course and split the goat cheese tart (very good; note: originally was going to split a pizza as an appetizer but waitress commented it would be too much food and she was right!)). Other couple ordered the flat iron steak (she LOVED it) and a sausage pizza (he thought it very good). Waitress allowed me to sample a couple wines before choosing Sonoma Pinot Noir bottle. Wine list was reasonable. Nice ambience. Little loud but not a problem. Would recommend it and will be back."

  • "I have been eating here for years. The food is always terrific and the atmosphere is warm and fun. I try to always sit at the bar which give you a view of the chef's at work. While normally this does not appeal to me, at Our of the Fire it is like theater. It also lets you see what the dishes on the menu look like. The food is excellent. I had the lamb stew the last time I was there and it was perfect as was my friend's duck breast. I have never had a disappointing meal or evening here. Amy, the owner and host, is charming and attentive to every deal, even after the many years since she opened the place. Even in New York City, I find myself looking for a restaurant like Out of the Fire that combines great food and a great atmosphere."

  • "This was a great dining experience! Beautiful place, great service. Food is prepared right before you. Big open fire where they prepare pizza - which looked delicious. We started with butternut squash soup with cilantro lime sour cream topping. It was excellent. Entrees were rockfish over a sweet potato and brussel sprout hash, and artic char over sauteed baby bok choy and baby carrots. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We were full, but tried dessert anyway - pumpkin creme brulee and black cherry ice cream. Both were excellent. If you are Easton, you should definitely experience this restaurant! Great martini's too! We'll be going back for sure!!"
