Every time we go to Easton, MD, we have a meal at Out of the Fire. The menu is full of excellent choices. The food is original and so well prepared. We usually share several small plates, but the menu has excellent entrees as well. The walls are full of interesting paintings. The service is top-notch. We have eaten both lunch and dinner there--this time it was a wonderful dinner with good wine. The dessert we had was an ice cream sandwich with the most amazing mint ice cream-- not at all the usual ice cream sandwich. We go to Easton three or four times a year, and I can't wait until our next meal at Out of the Fire.

For some strange reason, we hadn't been to Out of the Fire in some time. We went there before attending the Jazz Festival in Easton on Thursday night and we're glad we did. This restaurant can really hold it's own with top establishments in any city. The food is creatively presented and the service is very professional. Amy, the owner, and her crew really deserve credit for continually delivering a top product. Out of the Fire is really not to be missed by any who enjoys a creative meal while visiting Easton.

The owner/manager is very friendly and accommodating. Overall, food is quite tasty, some of it excellent. For example, the shrimp in bouillabaisse were amazing, as was the overall flavor of the dish. Too bad there were only 2 of them in a $28 dish. Clam appetizer was very good, though perhaps not the best I've had, but were sandy and much too few for the price. I only have two gripes with this place: 1)for the prices, the quantity of the star item or items in the dishes are chintzy to the point of being obvious. 2)The easy chairs in the back where we have been seated twice are amazingly uncomfortable and fitting only for giants.

OOTF is an very good restaurant with excellent service. Our second time to this Easton gem was great for our family. One son had personal pizza and one son had flatiron steak. Would have been better to put sauce on the side would be one area of improvement. my wife and I had the Artic Char and seafood mixed stew entrees, which were both awesome. Coffee was strong, french pressed and shared dessert of macaroon with homemade mint ice cream was fantastic. Portions were healthy and flavors excellent. Would strongly recommend this location. Heavy focus on gluten free and organic for those that are interested in these approaches. Service team was very accommodating to individual needs for food preparation with food allergy sensitivities.

The food here is extremely tasty. They use locally grown produce for their dishe, have unusual pairings of flavors, and are very gluten conscious. I was slightly disappointed there weren't more items to choose from on the menu. But did have a great night, plus loved their house drinks.

My husband and I had dinner the other night but this was not our first time. It's one of my very favorite places to dine. The food is delicious every time and knowing the thought and care that goes behind the menu makes it that more special. We shared a plate of grilled squid that was perfectly cooked (tender, not chewy) and oh, so tasty. I had the shrimp and grits that, surprise and yay!, actually had a little heat to it. Delicious.

This restaurants is a gem. The owner is extremely aware of her patrons' needs and wishes, visiting tables herself to ensure things are going well. They are receptive to people with food issues, i,e,, gluten sensitivity, etc. The food is fantastic and the chef utilizes fresh vegetables, including ones often not seen in other places. Our meals included eggplant, deliciously prepared. As a gluten free diner, I could even enjoy a wonderful dessert, which my husband loved as well, that featured a macaroon and ice cream made with goats milk. The service was wonderful and atmosphere festive. As I said, a gem....You must go.

When we first arrived, I was really excited by the atmosphere and friendliness of the waitress, but the place filled up quickly, and our waitress seemed to have more tables to take care of than was easily possible for her. It took a long time to get our drinks, then another long gap before bread arrived, and finally our order was taken. The foccacia bread was warm and delicious. Kale Ceasar salad nicely dressed, fresh and beautiful. Then another very long wait for our entrees. When they arrived, pizzas were barely warm. (We witnessed our pizzas sitting on the counter for our waitress to pick up for at least 10-15 min. before she was able to do so.) Dinner took 2 hours from start to finish without dessert. More wait staff may help here!

This has always been a favorite restaurant…but OOTF has raised itself to yet another level with the return of its former head chef. The standard favorite menu items such as the char and hanger steak have beautiful new tweaks and presentations. And a number of new highlights are on the menu and show up as specials. This was outstanding!

way too noisy for conversation. dinner was excellent with a notable exception of the little neck clams appetizer. Clams were very gritty and smaller than a Half teaspoon in volume. Poor quality and value. Best gluten free pizza crust ever however and my parents steak and char entrees were also very good. Very pricey for the loud family diner atmosphere. The food deserves better and so do the diners!

I love this pizza and the whole sweet/salty thing. I don't eat animals so didn't want the prosciutto, so even though I don't know what it would taste like with it, it's quite yummy without. My bf and I shared a pizza, a mixed greens salad and a dessert and along with the nice bread it was just right. I really like this place.

My wife and I ate here early on a Saturday evening. It was reasonably quiet. A couple of other tables had kids. Our server was prompt and appropriately attentive. The carrot ginger soup was quite good. The sausage pizza was also good -- definitely big enough for two, although our server said that some folks ordered the pizza as an individual serving. The wine was reasonably priced, although hardly spectacular. All in all, a pleasant dining experience. I'd be happy to return.

I have said, and always will say, this is the best restaurant in town...bar NONE! Except in Brussels, Out of the Fire has the best mussels anywhere. They have a nice "bite" to them, the broth is rediculously wonderful and the bread that is served with the mussels are perfect for dunking. Service is always top notch, never had any complaints and we've been going there for 10 years. Hats off to Amy for training her staff well...other restaurants could learn from her and her staff.

Out of the Fire is always a friendly site for lunch or dinner. Our waitress was excellent; she recited the specials and desserts with enthusiasm, was there when we needed her, but not intrusive. The owner was on site, and welcoming as well as checking to make sure our dinners were up to par. Couldn't go higher with another star on the food, but that probably due to what we ordered and personal tastes. The menu offerings are varied, and usually we've been more than satisfied.
