A word from Otto Las Vegas
OTTO’s menu is diverse and decadent, flexible and full of variety. Antipasti range from a wide variety of our local Farmers Market vegetables, such as Beets with Saba and our house marinated Mixed Olives, to Prosciutto di Parma and all of our house made and cured Salumi, perfected by our Executive Chef Mario Batali. Chef Batali, along with Zach Allen, has perfected the ideal version of thin, crisp Neapolitan-style pizza and presents over 15 varieties, including classics like Margherita and Meatball, with a new and creative take on pizzas like the Vongole with fresh clams and The Carbonara with guanciale and locally farmed eggs. At Otto-Las Vegas, guests will enjoy regional Italian dishes while drinking classic Italian wines from a list of over two hundred selections, including multiple selections by Joe Bastianich. Diner Reviews
  • "Otto is certainly well worth the walk along the canal to find it. We really enjoyed our time, both in the afternoon for wine at the bar and later in the evening for dinner on the patio overlooking the village square. OK, I know it's all indoors and made to look like being in Italy, but they did a great job of making it feel like Italy."

  • "We really enjoyed the food and outstanding service. Definitely recommend this restaurant to someone looking for a truly non-traditional Italian experience."

  • "Mario Batali makes dining at his places a bit more affodable in Las Vegas with Otto. Food is wonderful and full of that Italian flavor. Sitting "outside" and watching people go by and listening to the beautiful Italian music makes you feel like you are in Italy. Great place!!!"

  • "Was very much looking forward to having dinner at this restaurant, only to leave very dissapointed. We both ordered the margarita pizza and it was the worse thing I ever ate. The sauce horrendus, it was like it came straight from the jar straight on to the pizza, absolutely no flavor. This thin crust pizza is nothing like real italian pizza. Sorry Mario Batali but I would never associate my name to a pizza like that."

  • "Food and service was awesome! Love the feel of being in Venice!"

  • "Casual with fine dining prices. Cost not an issue, but when you pay top dollar you expect top quality. Food was only mediocre at best. Flavors were so so. We had 3 of the "fritti" appetizers and pasta dishes as main courses. More bothersome than the mediocre food and high cost was the attitude of our two servers. Shift change during our meal so two waiters. Both were somewhat rude. The first got impatient with our table bec we were not ready to order right away. When ready to order he asked us if we had enough time yet to study the menu? Then he corrected my pronunciation of some Italian words on the menu. It just seemed as if they have little patience for tourists. An "ok" restaurant but for atmosphere and price, better can be found!"

  • "The food at this restaurant was very good at a reasonable price (as far as Las Vegas is concerned.) We had a larger group and they accommodated us nicely and everyone enjoyed their meal. This was our second trip to this restaurant and we would go back in the future without hesitation."

  • "We dined at Otto after a show in the Venetian theatre. We were a little early for our reservation however they seated us on arrival. We ate on the "patio" in St Mark's Square which was great for people watching. Our servers were friendly and efficient. The food was very good although my husband found the linguini with clams spicy which was not indicated on the menu nor by our server. The house made gelato was excellent!"

  • "Wine selection & pricing don't match the menu items, far to expensive for even those experiencing wine around the world. Food is very average and tastes of commercialized faire. The wait staff is unaware of the company product line & really don't have knowledge of the substance behind the Batoli empire. We were disappointed that Batoli who says what's comparable to Roma, Italy should be done better has yet to hit the mark for a group of food connoisseur's.Mario remember what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas anymore... Why carry Illy coffee when you're supposedly marketing Roma Espresso? Overall a huge disappointment, but we won't waste our tears here, we'll head to Roma where all things Italian Style bring true pleasure, purely sweet."

  • "Another memorable meal at Otto! We departed from our traditional glass of Prosecco to start the meal and opted for the Adriatico to pair with our varied meats and cheeses, as well as the breadsticks with cheese and red pepper flakes (eat 'em while they're hot!). The fried dishes were next, and the ricotta balls are amazing! Several pasta dishes left us feeling full, but we couldn't let our friends leave without trying the sausage and grapes. JR was wonderful, ending our meal with some lovely amaro and a tasting of gelatos. Lovely, lovely meal! Take your time and enjoy every bite."

  • "Food was absotutely outstanding. Servers were attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and wines. Restaurant location (back corner of Venetian shops) made it quiet and lacking a bit of buzz. Will defintely be back for the food."

  • "Gourmet Italian fare in the heart if the most beautiful, romantic hotel in Vegas. The food was impeccable, the service amazing. Loved the simulated outdoor dining along the Grand Canal shops. Pasta was drop dead delicious."

  • "I was really excited for my first Mario Batali experience, but was sad to say I wasn't totally impressed. Our service was great, which is always good, but the most important part, the food, fell a little short of my expectations. I expected to be blown away by the "iron chefs" amazing cuisine, but I found everything to be a little lacking in flavor and creativity. I don't know if maybe it was because we ordered the "wrong" items as I believe is true of some restaurants, but for an overpriced Vegas restaurant, I sort of expected everything on the menu to be knock-your-socks-off good. I would probably go back though for the ambiance and service and try something different and see if I have any luck."

  • "For a Friday night in Vegas, restaurant not full. But our waiter couldn't handle the number of tables he had. He was MIA most of the night. Food ok. But service ruined the experience."

  • "We had to eat inside because a group booked the majority of the outdoor tabels. Beside the food the main reason we eat here is to sit in St. Mark's Square."

  • "We went there for a nice dinner and to experience a celebrity chefs restaurant. We were not disappointed. We started with a selection of three cheeses and two meats from the cured meats selection. These were outstanding! I had the special of the day, the lasagna. My wife had the linguini. Both were excellent. We also had the roasted pumpkin with apples. This was served cold and was great. The wine selection is huge and overwhelming for novice wine drinkers like us. The waitress was very helpful in making a recommendation and offering the services of the sommelier. The only complaint, which is really nitpicking, is the mains came out about 2 minutes before we finished our apps. We had a great meal and would definitely recommend."

  • "great pizza except for the ones with tomato sauce. Surprisingly thick and flavourless"

  • "I'm not sure if the good pizza is worth the wait and terrible service. Our waiter was terrible but truthfully none of the staff looked service oriented."

  • "Service very good but spaghetti only fair-expected greatness w/ a simple dish from Batali restaurant, $20 portion more like appetizer size for 2, Tuna salad was good but not great, recommend sticking w/ basic salads and pannini looked good , maybe better luck w/ meat/cheese antipasti platter? or try Eataly in NYC.... could do better at Emeril or Wolfgang restaurant (right across the plaza)"

  • "This is a must stop for us in LV. Food and service is always top notch. Almost feels like Italy. Only second to Otto in New York City which is the best!"

  • "We have been here before and love the ambiance of St. Marks square. We ALWAYS get a table 'outside'. The selection of wines is amazing and they are very helpful in narrowing down the choices. The servers were great and they have been there for many years. Great signs of a great restaurant. You must make a reservation on most evenings."

  • "Loved hearing the classical trio perform in the square while dining! a nice treat. like lots of vegas restaurants - high prices, small portions. My pork chop was small and very fatty smothered in cabbage and sliced apples - tasty but did not enjoy looking so hard for the meat. Two tiny pieces of bread on a plate - really? that is usually a good low cost item for a restaurant to be generous! The home made gelato was very good, but very small, and I found delicious light yogurt nearby for half the price."

  • "The veal and ricotta meatballs, as well as the pork shoulder were fantastic. They also make their own gelato, which both the chocolate malt and pistachio went very well together. Highly recommend this place in the Venetian. Also great place to people watch."

  • "This is a great place for couples or families. We wanted a light Italian meal in a fun setting and Otto served up both. We ate at an "outside" table with a great view of the entertainment in St Mark's Square. Unlike some cafe-style restaurants in the Forum Shoppes, it was a much more private setting that didn't feel like we were sitting in the hallway. We shared a delicious thin crust Prosciutto Arugula pizza with mild goat cheese and enjoyed a couple of tasty salads. We're glad we saved room for the gelato - a little pricey but delicious. I recommend the Salted Carmel and Dark Chocolate Malt mix. We'll be back!"

  • "Pretentious. Only fish is either a spicy stew or breaded tuna. No steak except for a steak salad. Pork chop was good. Pasta was mediocre. Food was not hot. Obviously, sat on a counter for some time before it served. Disappointing. We probably should have tried the pizza."
    Dined on 1/14/2014
  • "I had the tuna involtino which was quite dry. Maybe that is the wrong fish to have in a dish like this. perhaps halibut or swordfish would have been better. This is my 4th or 5th time and the first time I have been unhappy."
    Dined on 1/9/2014
  • "Came here with a few customers. The service was really awesome but the noise was a bit much. I kinda thought their steaks were good but would have expected more. Many of their side dishes and appetizers were really awesome. Before I forget, you need to try their tacos (4 pc ...small tiny one)!"

  • "Our service was fine. Weirdly, they brought us bread with nothing to go with it. No butter nor oil. We had to ask for oil, and for vinegar with it. My octopus salad was excellent, as was my squash ravioli. Really great dishes, fit for any foodie. The pasta portion was small. They want you to have a four-course meal here. Fortunately I'm a small guy and small portions were perfect for me. Like most good Italian places, the pizza is the affordable way to fill up. Unfortunately, the pizza isn't great. It's about as dull as pizza gets. So either come here expecting to blow a wad of cash on a 3-4 course meal, or get 1-2 good dishes each and split a pizza just for something filling."

  • "I love how the menu changes w/ the season, fresh local ingredients prominent from the salads to entrees (they're green certified). Starting w/ prosecco, a little testa and ciccioli & three cheeses accompanied by cherries, truffle honey, & a mustardo. Next, cauliflower & ricotta fritters. Incredibly savory! Wine by the glass (TY, Paula for recommendations). The pasta with tuna & diced tomato & just a hint of shaved, dried fish. The delicacy of the flavors & the freshness of the tuna - nicely done! The grilled pork sausage served w/ grapes was presented beautifully! I loved how the sauce complemented the sausage without overpowering it! For our finale, Nonino amaro & a trio of gelatos! Thank you, Brian, for wonderful attentive service!"
