"Having worked for about 5 years in the service industry, things like a drink taking an extra 30 seconds to arrive do notbother me, I completely understand things happen, and things get backed up or take time. But our waitress only came to our table after about 10 minutes, and then only came back a total of twice after that including dropping the check off. Honestly I don't mind that, but when its at an interval of 30-45 minutes it is a little annoying. Plus the 3 tables next to us were completely trashed, and we got hit by flying bread and napkins! (Not the resteraunts fault) Just seemed like a lot of bad luck all at once. Over all the food was good, but maybe not for the price. I think id give it another go though"

"I think I could close my eyes and point to anything on their wine list and find a wine that not only is exciting and different, but fan-tastic. Their service is quick, pleasant, their on site sommelier knew exactly what wine to offer us based on our tastes. The food was amazing when it arrived, and was still amazing as left overs the next day."

"Fun exotic pizza that is fantastic. We came with kids and another family for brunch and had a fabulous experience. The individual pizzas can be topped with unusual ingredients. Great crust. Top notch service."

"Great food for a great price! I have eaten here over 20 times in my time in NYC and have never been disappointed. Last night had dinner with 5 people, 1 bottle of wine, 2 pizzas to start and 4 pasta entrées for $100. And all delicious! Can't beat that. The only downside is a reservation is a must unless you don't mind waiting. But, if you do wait, the time quickly passes with wonderful wine (or beer) and cheese (or olives or meats or.... I could go on). So all in all, this is a win!"

"We are not from NYC and we are not "foodies" by any means, so I am loath to complain. But, sadly, I must. I ordered the "penne con noci e ricotta." It arrived,lukewarm,hard,and completely overpowered by the raw walnuts. It was green,which the only clue that there was pesto in it at all. I tried to eat it because this was our only sit down meal in the two days we were in NYC, and I didn't want to admit that it was inedible. My daughter had the pepperoni pizza and she just shrugged when I asked her how it was. This is an unacceptable disappointment. I cannot understand why it was so busy. The gelato was the best part of the meal, but like expressed by another reviewer below, it didn't make up for the disappointment."
