Ottimista Enoteca-Café is a restaurant and wine bar that brings the Italian enoteca tradition to San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood. The casual, rustic venue gets its name from the Italian translation for Optimist, because we believe that when it comes to good wine, one's glass should always
… be at least half-full. The restaurant features a seasonal menu of Italian-inspired small bites and larger plates, such as arancini, bruschette, polenta fries and Soave-braised pork. The popular weekend lunch features brunch favorites with an Italian twist, like egg/pancetta panino, breakfast pizza and bottomless mimosas, in addition to the all-day menu items. The wine bar offers a rotating menu of 35-40 wines by the glass and quartino, regional flights, and 250 wines by the bottle.
