And always after my daughter has a recital at the nearby convention center. She is not a huge seafood fan, but this is always her pick. We always enjoy the fresh oysters on the half. We had an early dinner so we opted for the lobster roll on the lunch menu as an early dinner snack. Now we have vacationed in the Northeast, and the lobster roll here was not even close to what we have up there, so stay away from that item. Other than that, i had the blackend redfish, my son had the salmon and my wife and daughter had the sea bass. all of us were pleased with our food. Dessert was the chessecake mousse? Food was great service was terrible. Thankfully could not find reservations for Mother's day so went here. Glad we did. Service vastly improved and food was excellent. So it is back on the return list.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONEven though we live in San Antonio we had not been here before, it is a very nice spot on the river walk. The service was excelent, my wife tried the red snapper which she enjoyed a lot; the beef filet and lobster was outstanding. We got there early in the evening and enjoyed the serenity of ambiance. My expections of the evening were not only met but, far exceded. For dinner, had the grouper special. It was tasty. I will have it again. I will say the most exceptional part of the evening was the service. I feel that everyone went above and beyond, and always seemed to know what I needed before I did.
