A word from Osteria Marco
Osteria Marco is a very social, artisan-style pizzeria in the heart of Larimer Square. The exposed brick dining room is lined with bottles from our exclusively Italian wine list, which features nearly one hundred labels priced under fifty dollars per bottle. We roast the lamb, pork and beef for our panini right in the dining room and craft the cheeses and charcuterie from or salumi bar in house. Osteria Marco has all the amenities of a fine-dining establishment--excellent service, beautiful food, fabulous surroundings--but priced for the more casual, social diner. Continued

  • "I had my birthday dinner at Osteria Marco. The food was great and so was the ambiance, however, I wish the waiters didn't look so rushed and impatient. It may have been because it was busy that night, but still, my friends and I noticed, but overall, we had a great time. I would definitely recommend looking into the fixed menu which comes to about $25 per person for a three course meal."

  • "We had a group of 7 for lunch. We made reservations. We were sat quickly but sat for a long time before we saw any wait staff. We gave drink orders and were ready to give food orders but weren't asked. We all work during the day so don't have all afternoon to lazily eat lunch. The food was mediocre. Turkey Panini was promising but the meat was cold. Some had the short rib Panini and they thought that was good."

  • "Everything we ate elicited an, "Oh, wow, that's good!" The cocktails were excellent as well. My only complaints are that my pizza was a bit limp in the middle and it could have had more tomato on top. Most slices only had one sliver, and it tomato was one of the featured toppings. Great ambiance, wonderful service, amazing food!"

  • "We went here for lunch and pizza. Panzanella salad was amazing. Wild Mushroom Pizza was very good, but not something I wanted to eat a whole pizza of. Carbonara pizza was a let down. Toppings were very sparse on both (not like pictures online) and not evenly spread across the pizzas. Bread pudding was to die for and the cappuccino was heaven. Would come back for their meat/cheese plates, appetizers, soups, salads and skip the pizza next time. Our waitress almost ruined the meal. I almost left over her attitude problem, but the food was good so I was glad we stayed. She was so condescending and obviously had no interest in their menu selections. I will definitely come back, I just will request not to be put her section."

  • "If you haven't had the wild mushroom and truffle oil pizza with house made robiola cheese...you must. We order it as an appetizer on just about every visit. All the pizzas offered are truly artisan, but calling OM a pizzeria is like calling The Sistine Chapel a church. There's just so much more. Every entree we've ever had at OM has been ridiculously good. We order multiple items and share -- because enjoying it together is half the fun. The service is always excellent (knowledgeable, professional, present, but never a nuisance) and the wine list is extensive, interesting, and well thought out. No wasted space. Solid offerings. OM is a great place for comfortably upscale, delicious food."

  • "I was sceptical when a friend suggested that we eat there. I continued to be when we arrived and realized that it was in the basement. We were offered an outdoor table and we choose that. The wine list seemed week but they do have a more substantial list if you ask. We were able to find I wine we liked from this list. The server was great and the food was a fine example of thin crust pizza and other Mediteranean favorites. If you are looking for light fare well prepared food with excellent service then this restaurant should be one of your choices."

  • "My husband and I have eaten here a handful of times and have never had a bad thing to say. We love the a la carte style menu and enjoy sharing multiple apps, meat and cheese platters or a pizza. The drinks are also fabulous! We've always had great service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lastly, we always walk away shocked at how inexpensive this place is. Definitely a place to try in Denver!"

When we checked in, one hostess said there was a wait for an outdoor table, but the other hostess immediately said one would be available soon, please wait in the bar, & we'll come get you. Within minutes we were seated outside. Our waitress was very helpful with menu suggestions & provided excellent service. A memorable evening!"

  • "While in Denver a good friend had recommended Frank Bonanno's signature restaurant Mizuna however the night we decided to go out we were tired and wanted something a bit more laid back and cozy. We decided on Osteria Marco and we were so pleased to find that it was exactly what we had in mind. From the moment we arrived the staff were gracious and accommodating. The meat curator (?) that you see upon entering slicing away set the tone and had our mouths watering. Our table was ready and the excellent service began immediately. Everything on the menu will have you salivating. From appetizers to entrees or just a delicious pizza (the fig pizza is amazing) are all winners. Sample a little of everything. It's all good."

  • "A friend was visiting recently and I decided to try Osteria Marco for dinner. The experience was outstanding. There is a wonderful selection of Italian meats and cheeses, fresh salads and interesting entrees. We chose to do small plates and share so we selected the burrata cheese plate and the pulled pork. We followed that with a wonderful spinach salad with a variety of tastes and textures and then finished with a simple pizza. The waiter's suggestions were all well-informed and made for a nice sampling of different flavors."

Our table was 10 minutes behind which rose somewhat of a panic because my party was on a hour lunch break. The foyer of the restaurant was so hot but once you descended to the dining area the environment felt nice. The food was good but the arugula salad had hardly any dressing making it a very bitter salad."

It is right along a beautiful neighborhood street in Lodo, the one with all the lights hanging across the street. So cute! Small outdoor dining area surrounded by flower boxes. Inside is quaint and historic, but clean and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing! you have to try the meatball sliders! Everything was fresh and delicious!! Great wine and beer list. The service was fantastic, and ours was Blake....superior service! I felt like I was a million miles away, and it was terrific!!! I would recommend this to anyone!!!"

When I asked for coffee I was told that she didn't have that available to serve, I then said ok well I will take anything with caffeine and she said "she would see what she could do." She finally showed up with coffee but acted as though it was a real inconvenience for her. We also noticed all of the tables around us getting bread and butter with oil. We asked her if bread came with the meal, she said she didn't have bread service available but if we really wanted it she would order us a side. When I said would you please she rolled her eyes, didn't respond and walked away! She brought out three small slices of bread without butter or oil and then ignored our table the whole nigh"

  • "While our dinner was good, we were overwhelmed with the noise level. Our ears were literally ringing when we left. I would love to go back and try dining outside. The roasted artichoke was a bit messy, but wonderful. The striped bass was cooked perfectly, but the rabbit was overpowered with a sauce that took away from the unique taste of rabbit. We would have liked to try the dessert, but our ears couldn't take any more noise."

The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable upon arrival. Our server was especially knowledgeable and very helpful in navigating the wine list and the menu. She really seemed to know it inside and out! Most of us at the table had been in the restaurant business for many years and it's not easy to impress us with service, but this person was outstanding. Everything she suggested was amazing and cooked to perfection. When you have a meal and experience this great you don't look at the check, but even that was reasonable for the amazing job that was done. Thank you!!"
