  • "Very impressed with the service and the food we had. Glad to pay the freight"

  • "Great cocktails and appetizers. The entrees were ok. Interesting room. It's a viable alternative downtown. "

  • "The staff was fantastic. My husband's order of prime rib was fantastic. The crab cakes were perfect. I ordered Ahi Tuna which was cooked perfectly; however, there was so much pepper on it, it was inedible. I barely touched it. My friend also ordered it- same issue. I've had peppercorn crusted fish- I even make it- but this was bad. Also we did the shuttle to the Smith Center. Apparently, it wasn't working. The Escalade and driver were great but we had to wait nearly an hour after the show. They should have been more forthcoming about the return trip. We would have driven. Lesson learned: when you go to a steakhouse, get steak "

  • "First, it's at the Plaza, which means you have to walk through the Plaza which isn't a pleasant experience. Then, there's a barbershop across the way from the restaurant where a girl in a thong and bra will cut your hair and you can see her working from the entrance. Not exactly what you want to see when taking your wife out for an anniversary dinner. The view of Fremont Street is 90% blocked by a huge stage, so there isn't much of a view. The food was just ok for such a price. My steak tasted like I cooked it at home, and if I'm paying $50 for a steak, I expect it to taste better than that. The service was impeccable, I wish I remembered our servers name for she was great, but that was the only redeeming quality about this restaurant. "

  • "The staff was very friendly. The dining experience was great! Would definitely go back. "

  • "I haf the 12 oz filet and it was very delicious. My only complaint was it could have been warmer when it arrived. Not sure if it sat for too long before coming to my table but steak should be hot and it was warm at best. The asparagus could have been cooked a few minutes longer too. But overall it was a good meal."

  • "Truly one of the finest steakhouses in America!!! Absolutely wonderful."

  • "If you are on Freemont Street and want to eat at a nicer place Oscars is it. Great food and great service. The portions are right for the price and the staff are very accommodating. Ask for a table for a view of Freemont Street as the restaurant overlooks the street. You will enjoy it for sure!"

  • "Love this Vegas classic yet it's still chic with awesome food!"
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "Las Vegas has approximately one zillion steakhouses. It may actually have more steakhouses than it has McDonald's. In order to be worth a trip, your steakhouse needs to be really good at something. So I would expect a steakhouse subtitled "Beef, Booze, Broads" to have excellent steaks, a great cocktail menu, and some women (I guess?). The steaks were ok, but were far outstripped by any number of other steakhouses in town. We received no cocktail menu, so you're left to your own imagination on whether or not the booze is great. Ultimately, you would probably go to Oscar's for the bird's-eye view of Fremont street. But since they've installed the new zipline, the view is of a blank concrete wall with some neon showing around the edges."

  • "My husband and I went there for our 5 year wedding anniversary celebration dinner. We had a great meal and really enjoyed the ambiance. We had a great view of fremont street experience and got to see the new light show. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a romantic date night."

  • "Great decor, fantastic steak. Eclectic menu with a perfect view of the famed Fremont Street Experience. Well worth the trip to Downtown Las Vegas"

  • "This was our first time at OSCARS and enjoyed the food and drink and view. We were seated at a table without a light and had a hard time seeing the menu without our iphone flashlight. There were tables with lights and would have preferred sitting at them."

  • "Have been wanting to eat here since it opened! Love the atmosphere and even caught a glimpse of The Man himself!"
    Dined on 4/9/2014
  • "Service was perfect, the food was excellent (we had two prime ribs, stuffed shrimp, calamari, mac n' cheese, creamed spinach, & onion strings), the view straight down the Freemont Street experience. Price was comparable, but an excellent value."

  • "Oscar really out did himself on this place. I felt like Frank Sinatra was going to join for dinner. The vintage vibe was EPIC. The servers were outstanding a matter a fact it all was outstanding. It's a must do in Vegas."

  • "We were made to feel uncomfortable. Our waiter, was almost, rude. We arrived 5 minutes early and the girl that were to seat us said, we are on time, it will be a few minutes... And indeed 5 minutes she came and got us, there were 5 seated tables. Our waiter all but threw the menus at us......did he think we did not know where we were. We were dressed for the restaurant, unlike the tshirted men we saw!"

  • "Oscar's ISAAC pure steakhouse. It doesn't mince around with other items and everything fully supports your steak. The service was really great and we had a really nice time. I've eaten in this location under all 3 restaurants - Plaza Steakhouse, Firefly and now Oscars and this was the best experience of them all."

  • "Very beautifully appointed. Great service and food. If you like Raspberry Martinis, ask the bartender to fix one for you. BEST IN TOWN. Ribeye steaks wonderful."

  • "We have enjoyed Oscar's several times, and each time I think it can't get better---BUT IT DOES! Our meal was splendid! Steaks perfectly prepared; fish dishes moist and succulent, appetizers and desserts sinfully good, wine list more than okay (and all at a moderate (+/- $80-$100 per person) price. I give Oscar's the top rating possible! KLC Vegas"

  • "My second time here was not as enjoyable. Dining for two @ 7:00 p.m., The service was less than impressive for this restaurant. I am sure it was the individual server, as my previous experience with Scott was impeccable. If I could remember his name and would suggest he be more attentive no matter what else is going on within the restaurant. This is his profession. Do it right. He does have an accent and a pony tail."

  • "Our server, Frank, was very attentive. My only disappointment was the music. Absolutely wrong for the dinning experience. Perfect music would be Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, Patty Paige, Perry Como, Dean Martin...."

  • "The crab cakes were excellent. The filet mignon was awful. I'm serious when I say that Outback has better quality beef. We will not go to Oscar's again."

  • "The food was great here on a Tuesday evening. The filets were perfect, the crab stuffed shrimp was very flavorful, the sides of mac n cheese, au gratin potatoes and asparagus were perfectly delicious! What a great meal at Oscar's!! Our view was directly in front of the Fremont Street light show so the table position was ideal for our out of town guests!! We are locals and we will be going back!!"

  • "a great restaurant in the heart of Old Las Vegas - excellent view of Fremont Street and food was great - very retro 50's 60's"

  • "The food over all was good, my husband used to be cook so I was not to over happy with the steak which i though could of have been better"

  • "Second time there. One of us had filet and the other butterfly shrimp. We shared 3 sides as well and desserts. We enjoy the bootlegger atmosphere and the view of the Fremont Street experience. The combination of good food, good service and a unique location make for fun at special occasions."

  • "Have been to oscars many times before. However the food quality has gone down until we won't be back. Spending $400 should be better quality."
    Dined on 3/19/2014
  • "Great as always, We have tried every other steakhouse in town and Oscars has always exceeded our expectations while others like S.W. for example have come up short of them. Oscars is the BEST steakhouse in Las Vegas period!!! Never disappointed."
    Dined on 3/18/2014
  • "We invited a group of 6 to share my wife's birthday and she had selected Oscars because we had never been there. It truely is a magnificant Traditional American Steakhouse. We all ate beef, the filet, the new york and best of all was the Prime Rib. It's been a long time since I can remember having Prime Rib to that level. ..... Perfect. All the sides were excellent. This place will definetly be on our list of great places to eat in Vegas. The service team was right there for all you needs. A great time was had by all."

  • "View: Back of the zip line on Freemont Street Wine list: Average Best part of meal: Chopped Salad with Pink Peppercorn Ranch Waiter: Condescending Lots of build up to my reservation, I should have stopped after the salad and bread. I passed on the entrée due to palate and allergies that evening. Instead I ordered a combination of sides. The Corn Brule was runny and had a very potent nutmeg finish. The asparagus was woody. The Mac and Cheese had a very thick and chewy center layer that indicated it had previously been on a hotline for quite a while before being scooped into the bowl."

  • "4 of us went to dinner. Service that night was extremely poor. The waiter started taking our order, got interrupted & said he would be right back. Oscar Goodman was in the restaurant that night, & many servers were taking care of him. I understand he is the owner, but we as patrons keep the restaurant going. 20 minutes went by & we had to flag down another server to get our waiter. He came back, lost the paper the order was on & had to start again. After dinner, a dessert menu was brought to us, but no one ever came back to see what we wanted nor bring our check. Again, had to flag someone down. There was no apology for keeping us waiting. We didn't leave a generous tip. Maybe next time more attention will be paid to the other patrons."
