When my friend suggested we stop for a drink and a few small plates after shopping, I didn't expect much. The service was amazing... they really went out of their way to make us feel like extremely valuable customers and the food was surprisingly delicious! I highly recommend you give this place a try if you're in the area or want to try something new.

The food was very good but pricey, and service definitely needs improvement. They only had one server to help everyone in the restaurant which at the time had about 10 tables with several people in each party. So this translates to longer wait times and less attention to the customers' needs. The server was also the one seating the customers so pulling double duty. At least they had one other person busing the tables. Overall our experience was just OK but could have been better. At an average of $18 per dish the restaurant should hire at least another server.

We were one of two groups in the restaurant on a Sunday eventing. This should have been a hint of things to come. The ambiance is nice and it was quite so we were quite pleased. However, the appetizers and main dishes were just not good. I did not finish my duck confit curry. Needless to say we will not go back.

The food served was not warm enough and we didn't have the patience to tell them to prepare again. There was not so much rush to expect the food being served after it has been lying in the kitchen for sometime to reach that temperature. The server was sweet and polite, so the service was great and I think they would have very agreed to prepare the food again has we told them to.

This was a girls night out! Hostess noticed and seated us right away. We were catching up and thankfully the waiter was Nice enough to return a couple times to check on us! It was nice setting, the lights were low but one can still read the menus. The wait staff was prompt when asked questions or prompt with needs, such as water.

12/30/2012 Arrived w/ reservation on a quiet Sat night. Table wasn't ready. Sat 10 min. (with water) waiting for waitress. She finally arrived and five minutes later we got our spring rolls. Came w/ a peanut sauce, nice. Ordered miso halibut, friend ordered salmon. Friend was asked if she wanted a side of rice, I wasn't. Five minutes after delicious spring roll appetizer arrived, entree arrived--no time to savor or talk. My miso halibut was overpowered by the same peanut sauce (tasted bottled)--awful. It was an overload of peanut sauce and that rice would've been great. Ten minutes after that, while we ate, the check arrived--no asking if we wanted dessert (we did). We asked, waitress brought bananas foster bread pudding (good) a

We love eating here! Service is great, though it can get quite busy. LOVE the food! I can't say enough about Oryza! I've gone with the kids and on date night this visit. Seating can be a bit crowded and squished, and I didn't like being sat in the middle of bar traffic and dining room traffic. Pleasant and helpful servers and staff make you forget you're at the mall.

My family had come here once before, when I took my wife out for mother's day lunch. We returned last sunday night just because we were shopping at Valley Fair and needed to get dinner. I'm glad we did. My family had such a good time. We ordered the fiery basa, the duck + red curry, and the drunken noodles. We also ordered the funny fried rice for our son. All food arrived in a timely fashion. I'm glad they brought out my son's food first since kids can get restless. Everything tasted and looked great, and we enjoyed the generous portions. The servers were all very polite and helpful.

A very quiet night at the restaurant. The roti were delicious, as were the curry dipping sauces. The green papaya salad was very good. but perhaps too much dressing (became more overpowering as I ate it). It is a nice change to have this type of restaurant in the mall.

This was our first time there. We wanted quick bite to eat before go home from Valley fair. I really like my drink, Mint lychee soda , it was awesome. My husband got Ice tea the waiter took our order and it took a while to get appetizer and waiter never came by to offer a refill on his drink, he came by 2x and never noticed. We had to asked the bus boy who pick up our plates to refill our drinks. He only came by when we were done with our food. We had to ask for our check. Not good impression when you are coming in for the first time. We love the food but the service was disappointing. We still tip well but It would be nice to be perfect stop go after shopping.
