This was the BEST meal i have had out in a long time. Everything was perfect. We order 3 apps. all perfectly prepared. I had the hanger steak, my husband a cod special, both were to die for. We took home dessert because we were so full, but it did make the 45 min. ride home, it looked to good to let sit there, and it was. Braised Beef Short Ribs nicely presented surrounded by house gnocchi and topped with the thinnest crispy potatoes which gave the dish just the right amount of crunch. Others enjoyed over-sized portions of Half Roasted Natural Chicken and the Panko Crusted Chicken a/k/a Chicken Parmiagiana. We had the best server with a great personality, I just wish I knew her name to give her the credit due her!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe pace of our meal was ExcellentWe had a great private table for 4 and the pace of the meal was excellent all the dinners were outstanding. We had Salmon,Veal,Hanger Steak and Braise Short Ribs they were all served piping hot after everyone had time to finish their salad.
Most places don't get the pace correct (especially on a SAT Night)they serve the salad and the entree shows up 2 minutes later or they let the entree sit and it's barely warm when served.

My swordfish was fine but OVER cooked. Our server was wonderful and never rushed us. Later that evening my husband thought he had left his glasses behind. they went over and above looking for them and calling us back. This is truly a success story of two people who met in the business, share a love for what they do and were driven to achieve their dream of owning their own restaurant. His food is fabulous, she is the hostess with the mostess. They have always been the restauranteurs that take the time to get to know their patrons and that is how we've become friends and followers of theirs. You feel like a friend joining them for dinner at their family table.

Owner came to the table a few times to check in with us. We were out for an early dinner and really had a wonderful time. Meal was great, wine list is good, but we were ultimately blown away by our desert. If you go and like pecan pie, it is a must try.....if I wasn't in public, I would have licked the plate. Food was fabulous, I had the almond encrusted salmon and my husband the panko chicken. We sat near the bar area and the three piece band started playing at 9:00pm, music was energetic but not overwhelming.
