"We've visited several tapas restaurants recently in the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., area and Orillas Tapas Bar has been the best. Food was perfectly prepared and the selection was excellent. The service was attentive. We dined before we went to a show at the Wilmington Opera House, just a block from the restaurant, and the wait staff made sure we had time to see the beginning of the show. We'll be back."

"The service, food, and ambiance were excellent. The tapas selections were served at an unhurried pace so we have time to thoroughly enjoy every dish. Be sure to try the eggplant - it was expecially good! This place is a gem."

"The great thing about Tapas is that everyone can find something they like. With Orillas you'll find that you pretty much like everything! Great food (try the fried Risotto, and great service. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star rating would be the deserts. They are ok, but after food this good "ok" just doesn't cut it. Grab some adventurous friends and head down to Orillas."

"We went on a Wednesday evening and were pleasantly surprised to see that there is live jazz started at 6:30! The music was great, and the food and service were great as always. We love coming here on special occasions or date nights. I tried a wine flight for the first time and really enjoyed that as well. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely fabulous, as always. Never cared much for Orillas and in an attempt to be fair, had gone three times. But its reincarnation as Vinoteca is "to die for"!! Even signed up for Restaurant Week as soon as I was home. Our friends also loved it and they will join us anytime we go."

"George was our server, we've had him before but it must be said, he's just outstanding. He truely makes the night. Loves to chat, but not too much, gives excellent reccomendations and is attentitive without making you feel rushed. The food is always AMAZING! We ordered several tapas but the one we were all fighting over was the eggplant (who'd a thunk it!) It's dipped in a sort of tempora batter, very tinly sliced, and fried to golden perfection. Lightly drizzled with a balsamic reduction, it's to DIE for. The chorizzo in red wine also delicious. We had a couple of pitchers of the citrus sangria (yummy!) but the wine list is great. I found my new favorite there called Xiloca. You just can't go wrong here."

"The owners of both Vinoteca and Orilla's made the fascinating decision to combine the two, upheaving the 400 block gem that was Orilla's and moving it to Market Street's 900 block, previously the site of Vinoteca. I personally adored the lower Market location and was slow to warm up to the transition. My most recent visit sealed the deal for me, with the help of the magically ambient duo E. Shawn Qaissaunee and Sharon Sable. Their beautiful music really brought out the color and ambience of a very nicely decorated interior (which includes a baby grand piano) and added to an experience that made the tapas really pop. My favorite: Tuna al limon, 4 slices of sushi grade tuna lightly kissed with a lemon oil. The smelt was fun to try as well."

"My wife and I have been to Orillas a few times and have never been disappointed. The food provides a wide range of options all very flavorful and enticing to anyone who enjoys Spanish dishes. We have eaten at a number of Spanish restaurants and would say Orillas ranks among the best. Dessert was excellent, too, and just the right size. The service was attentive and we enjoyed our waiter's humor."

"Orillas has combined with Vinotca 902 to produce a great fusion of a sophisticated wine bar and a relaxing tapas restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and excellent, and the waitstaff knowledgeable and outgoing. Serving tapas can be a bustling and chaotic affair, but these guys know what they are doing and are efficient and smart. We had a wonderful meal and loved everything we had. We will definitely be back!"
