Manager finally offered to complete transaction latter with hand written duplication of credit card information (discounted drink order portion for the inconvenience). Incidence was not an issue in my humble opinion, but others may not want to entrust anyone with their credit card info. no matter how friendly their demeanor may appear. Although it is obviously a "locals" favorite, we did not feel like outsiders. In fact, we felt like regulars right away.
We reserved online a day in advance and our table was waiting for us when we arrived and in the area we requested (table on the edge of the room). Throughout the evening our service was friendly and timely, but never rushed even though they appeared to be almost fully booked up.
We are not wine experts, so we found a very nice Zin that we enjoyed. Our dinner was outstanding. Our server suggested that we split the appetizer and salad unless we were very hungry and the steaks were wonderful. We had a perfect evening!2/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
