A word from Opus 465

Opus 465 is an unpretentious, yet sophisticated restaurant located in the town of Armonk, NY. Chef Marc stays innovative with his Contemporary American cuisine, adding just a hint of Italian flare from his family background. The menu offers a wide range of salads, sandwiches and pastas for lunch,… as well as an eclectic array of chicken, veal, beef, pasta and seafood for dinner. Specials are offered daily at both lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a variety of different atmospheres to accommodate all diners. The main floor has an antique bar imported from England, with cozy tables for diners who enjoy the bar ambience or the live music performed Wednesday thru Saturday evenings. Adjacent to the bar is a family friendly dining room. The tented outdoor patio is available for dining May thru September. The upstairs is an inviting dining room with private alcoves for more intimate dining. Private rooms are available for catering. There is something for everyone.Continued

"Awful! Exactly what type of cuisine does this place offer? I think our menu had over 100 items that you could order - Barbeque, Italian, Soups, Pub. We had three waiters that came to our table yet we had to ask for our food twice and then had to ask for the bill so we could get back to work on time. I think Gordon Ramsey needs to make a visit."

"The food was very good. Old fashioned comfort food done very, very well. Staff were very professional and courteous. Sensing how full we were from appetizers, entrees (and bread basket!) they offered to have desserts wrapped to go right from the kitchen.
I would definitely go back there again."

"a surprisingly good meal. we didn't actually expect much, but were very happy with the quality of the food and the care with which it is prepared. (the pizza and the salads are esply tasty.) the place itself feels very comfortable--like dining in someone's home--and you can actually hear yr dinner companion if you get a table on the side or in am alcove. we will definitely go back!"

"I enjoyed my evening at Opus 465, we ate upstairs and had our own little room just for the four of us! Downstairs is a bar, and towards the end of our meal a small band began to play and sing-I thought great music. We couldn't stay, but I would love to go back another time just to sit back, listen and enjoy being out. The food was very good, lots to choose from; while I wouldn't consider it 4 star, fine dining, I would say, good food, ample portions, friendly service Just lovely.I like have a place in my back pocket that you can rely on."

"Very comfortable upstairs - away from the bar scene if that's not your thing.
My brother, cousin and I were seated at a nice private table - service was alert.
Food was very good (desserts excellent)and timed perfectly."

"The menu was plentiful & the food was good. Quaint little table in an alcove allowed for privacy, but the noise was a little strong. Unfortunately, the service was not what we expected. There was no friendly smile upon entering, nor discussion as to the food specials, very little verbal interaction with the 4-5 people who "popped" in and out to take care of us, which was strange. We had to ask for more drinks, and we couldn't figure out who our waiter was. Not sure whether I would return."
