Not the best spot for big parties unless you're willing to rent out the back room. We had a party of 8 and had to be crammed into a back corner in an awkward seating arrangement that made it difficult for all of us to talk to each other.

From the moment our party walked in to when we left, staff was friendly and always checking in to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed. The food was very good and the cocktails were tasty. I've been reminded Ono is the place for sushi!

First time here was a couple years ago and things have definitely changed, not for the best. Quality of food has declined. Even after making reservation hostess didn't have seating options and after asking to switch to sushi bar (even after already being offered, and prior to sitting at table) was meet with difficulty. Store is being sold which doesn't surprise me now based on this experience. Unlikely to be returning.

This is the best sushi experience that I have had in San Diego. All of the rolls were amazing! We got a beer, two martinis, an appetizer, and three specialty rolls (Tuesdays make them half price) and the bill was under $70.00. We went during the week and it wasn't very busy so we got great service. I do wish that we had asked for a table because we sat at the sushi bar and never really got to relax because everyone who came in was crowded around the hostess table which was right behind us.
