Diner Reviews
  • "We have been four times with friends and enjoyed it every time. Every dish has been excellent. We have had at least twenty different items and each one was outstanding. We live twenty minutes away and have many choices closer to home, but we consistently suggest one2one. The service has been somewhat erratic - sometimes great sometimes OK, never bad. We will be back soon."

  • "Always forget how great this spot is! Have eaten there a handful of times and have never been disappointed. Can honestly say this was the absolute best prime rib I have eaten in a very long time. Thanks to the one 2 one crew for making it a great experience for me and the family. See you soon."

  • "This was our third visit and all have been excellent. The servers are friendly and prompt The menu is a very good mix of the simple and more complex. The specials show imagination. The main room is very comfortable with a mix of seating including the counter at the kitchen. The bar is large and has a nice outdoor area. "

  • "Disappointed. Service slow, waiter had no clue what about the specials and not interested in finding out. Took 45 min to get check, waiter could not get it right. Could not get drink refills. For me, poor service ruins the dining experience regardless of the quality of the food. The food was nothing to write home about. I had the meatloaf, which was served lukewarm and while not bad, was bland. The shoe string potatoes were so thin, they were difficult to eat. My wife and the other couple at the table while having different dishes, all agreed food was marginal at best. Normally we give a restaurant three chances before writing it off, but in this case, it went straight to strike three. "

  • "Do enjoy coming back to One2One. Very good food and a relaxed environment. Any one reading this should consider giving them a try. They are a little eclectic, very interesting and worth a visit. Would not give them a "10" but they are a good, solid "8" and that is not bad. Great value also."

  • "This was my first visit and I was very pleased! The service was great, food was excellent. If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner with your honey, or a group of friends. This is a great place!"

  • "We met with friends for dinner. Sat at bar for 20 minutes, no bar tender in sight, finally got a drink but had to ask for one. No hostess at the dinning area had to wait for a waiter to be seated. Menu has changed since our last visit. Limited items and food was just ok. Restaurant was very empty for a Saturday night. Extremely noisy. I will be surprised if this place lasts another year. I was extremely disappointed and will never go back again."

  • "A lot to love about this neighborhood polished casual cross between a Mercury, Jasper's and Season's 52. Live music in the bar, big booths and airy spacious seating in the stage-kitchen dining room. Very reasonable wine by the glass. My blackened snapper was exceptional, husband's plank salmon very good. Wanted to like the Israeli couscous side dish but overpowered with salt and lemon. Uninspired desserts (s'mores moment came and went). Service was warm and attentive, making the evening special in spite of the few food-paux. Note to owners: proofread your menu. It belies the class your establishment otherwise projects."

  • "One2One has some of the best options in Frisco for group dining. We already know that their food is among the best in the area, but they're also well equipped for group dining and parties. They have a large room that seats dozens (and with your own private TVs to boot!). For a smaller group, the glass enclosed wine room is just lovely. The lounge and patio are also nice and comfortable options for small and large group gatherings. And for your favorite party of just you and your "plus one," try the up-front seating at the chef's bar table, where you can see the action up close and personal. Put One2One on your list. Again and again."

  • "We chose Monday night and the menu says "1/2 PRICE PIZZA" The item we wanted was the Lobster Pizza, it goes for $15. I called Monday afternoon to see if Lobster pizza was being served since its on rotation. The man that answered put me on hold briefly, he came back and told me that the lobster would be offered for dinner. He said "see, it's your lucky day, it's here and half price". Upon arrival we learned that the pizza was half price, EXCEPT for Lobster. They said that pizza couldn't be half price or they'd lose $. Funny, because on the menu all pizzas are about $12-$16. So we checked online again, and there it was "1/2 Price Pizza" as did the BAR MENU. This was disappointing & although it's great, these practices are not cool."

  • "With gorgeous weather outside, the patio was a welcome and inviting place to sit and relax . Couple that with great food and live music starting later that evening, and you have a perfect day in a perfect place."

  • "Our group loved the relaxed and comfortable feel of this place - The two private dining rooms (Wine Room & Large Room) were perfect to accomodate 12 & 23 diners . We definitely would return to try more dishes. My group loved the ribeye steak, filet and grilled salmon. The tables also enjoyed the three deserts: Tiramisu, NY Style Cheescake and Apple Crisp. The wine and beer list is extensive with all price ranges available. We enjoyed the Cabernet (Fransiscan Column 26) that was perfect for the steak dishes. The group also enjoyed several wine selections by the glass. Service was well-timed and friendly."

  • "Another great experience at this place. Took out of town clients Friday and had such a great experience I went back the following night with another group. Shared while fish tempura both nights. It is an absolute must. Presentation is phenomenal. Definitely going back again."

  • "We have been dining here since the restaurant opened, and we have never been disappointed. The food and service are consistently superior. We like the intimate ambience; you can actually talk at the table over the background music and other diners. The bar section, separate from the tables, is also an appealing space. We will continue to return to this neighborhood gem."

  • "This restaurant has excellent potential and is in a great location. The ambience and atmosphere was great. It had a live musician in the bar which was really nice. However - the service and wait times on the food were absolutely ridiculous. We waited about 15 mins for our drinks, 30 mins for appetizer and 1 hour for our food. I think the waiting was a combination of the kitchen and the wait staff being overloaded. I think every table that we saw was complaining and feeling the same way. It is actually really sad to see that the owners got it right with this place; but not the management. They need more staff, a food runner, and the ratio for waiter/table needs to be taken way down."

  • "Food was great and serving sizes were perfect. I appreciated there was a good sized portion on the plate. We liked the free sushi at the start. Food was cooked perfectly."

  • "A simple dinner became a ridiculous comedy of errors. The service was non existent. Simple food like a corn dog for a child went missing twice. The food was decent but ruined by the whole experience. We will never return."

  • "Set dinner menu and they forget to bring the first course! Have not eaten here in some time and thought we would try it as last minute choice for valentines. Food was very average and service was off the charts bad. Cannot reccomed this reaturant to anyone!"

  • "Went there for Valentines day. I appreciate that the place was packed and I know how this impacts service. Still it was very disappointing. The third course came out before the first and I had to remind the waiter twice before he remembered the first course. He switched the red and on the 3rd course. Our waiter didn't come around often enough. normally woukwould forgiven this because they were packed. However, by the time about half of his section had left, we saw him less. The food was good. I loved the atmosphere."

  • "We celebrated our daughter's birthday on a Monday, and for most of our meal, we were the only party there! They have such great food (the lobster ravioli is fantastic!), and we love the service. Have frequented One2One several times, and we will continue to do so!!"

  • "It has been about 9 months but realized today that I was remiss in writing a review. From what I remember, the food and service were excellent, but the restaurant is incredibly cramped - no straight lines to any table. Also, as a result of packing in so many people, the noise level was high enough. They were kind enough to turn down the music they were playing when I asked. Overall the experience was good, even if I felt a bit claustrophobic."

  • "Excellent food - good for close friends who can order multiple items and share. Surprised by the quality of the food. Not crowded so you can enjoy yourself. In dining room, but heard a good singer in the bare area. This place should be busier."

  • "We dined at One2One for New Year's Eve. They were offering a special menu and even though we love their regular menu we were not disappointed to try the NYE menu. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and a caviar appetizer to our final bite of dessert everything was outstanding. I had the Beer Soup, which was unbelievable, and my wife had the lobster salad which was equally good. For our entrees I opted for the Filet which came perfectly cooked, the sauces served with it were delicious. My wife had the scallops with risotto, they were the best we've ever had. Dessert was equally good. We left stuffed & looking forward to our next visit. This place is a hidden Frisco Gem and a must try"

  • "I was very surprised at how empty this place was for NYE. While when we first arrived for our 8pm reservation there were a few tables, many with kids and some with couples, by the time we left, it was very bare. Even the bar with the live band playing had hardly an audience around 10pm. I was also surprised to see the main wine room table was occupied by a table of mostly young children. Being the first thing that I saw upon walking in, I was a little disappointed. However, we did get set up at a very nice table where we had plenty of space (go figure) and a view of the open kitchen. Service was not bad but not exceptional. Our waiter did his job but was not above and beyond. In fact, the menu offered wine pairings that he never mentioned."

  • "The food was excellent. The tempura Vegetables are GREAT. The Duck was excellent. The Kobe Meat Loaf was very good. An overall enjoyable experience. The night started off poorly in that we were seated quickly, had water brought to our table and then w a I t , w a I t, w a I t. But as soon as it was called to the attention of Alex the Director of Operations all worked out well. And have I mentioned the food was Great. It was Christmas Eve and there was a limited staff. We enjoyed the Food and will be back. Overall I would recommend this fine restaurant."

  • "We had a perfect night here. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the prices were different on the tab than they were on the menu - a slight difference but a difference all the same."

  • "We wanted to give One2One a try since the management/chef changed. We were not disappointed. Husband and I split a huge wedge salad; crisp and topped with plenty of chopped goodies. He ordered meatloaf--wow, full of flavor. I had the filet, which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The accompanying butternut squash puree was yummy, too. For a slow night we thought the service could've been a bit better, but the waiter was pleasant and helpful."

  • "Can't believe we didn't know this restaurant was here, it's hidden in the back of a shopping center. From the moment we walked in we were truly impressed. The management, servers and staff were all very friendly and helpful, but better than that the food was outstanding. We had the best meal we have had in a long time! I am still craving the duck enchiladas we shared as an appetizers and the crab stuffed snapper I had with spaghetti squash was amazing! My husband had a wedge and filet that he ate every bite of. For dessert S'MORES that you toast right at your table! The restaurant is really beautiful, we will be back soon!"
