The food was wonder right from the beginning through dessert. Each course was perfectly portioned and did not leave you feeling bloated just after the entrees. Each dish featured perfectly balanced flavours, and was very light and not greasy at all. Our server was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. Appetizers were the beet salad, a delightful collection served on a slate tablet, and the surprising fried chicken tacos, delicious on a wooden plank. Mains were chicken schnitzel, which sounds pedestrian but tasted anything but. Black cod was delightfully light. All the dishes had wonderful additions and sauces.
The side dishes were adequate. Oriental greens were tasty, but the frites were disappointingly ordinary.
Service was attentive, efficient and friendly. Desserts were sublime. My only criticism is that this is a very noisy restaurant, at least during the early evening when full of the after-work office crowd.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
