  • "Nice restaurant for locals. I recommend the Arctic Char. My wife enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli. We were seated near the front door so it was chilly for my wife. There was a large party so made for a loud environment."

  • "food was excellent, service rushed even though we were the only couple in the dining room. Server friendly. in res. I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday... why do you ask if you do not acknowledge? The dance around the happy hour specials did not make me happy. especially the server's going to check the clock and coming back to say it was 6:01 and forget it. How about giving the staff some flexibility, especially on a Tuesday night when you only have two ppl in the dining room? Would have made a big difference even though we did not even know about the 'special' until we entered the restaurant."

  • "I highly recommend this restaurant for those of you who like to know where your food comes from. I love the fact that this restaurant has locally raised meat, produce and dairy! The Pork was probably the best pork I've ever had, done perfectly, so tender. And try the Kale salad if it's still on the menu -their menu changes with the seasons - it was excellent! Overall great dinner will definitely return to this place many times."

  • "Been here on a few occasions, enjoyed the atmosphere but food never struck me to hard. This time was a different story.. Ordered the Edamame Hummus appetizer, it was absolutely delectable! My main course was the "Grass Fed Buffalo Burger". This was a masterpiece. I ordered it "medium" and all I can say is wow. The onion jam and steakhouse sauce were solid additions to the burger. I am craving the exact same meal as we speak! Atmosphere is always good.. Sit on the side where the bar is for a more energetic feel...Seems as if the lighting is better! Can't go wrong with this restaurant!"

  • "We had a 6:30 reservation. The restaurant was not busy. First our waiter was not clear about a wine question, and told us a Pinot noir we were interested in was from CA not Oregon, which was incorrect. No big deal, we all make mistakes. Ordered a delicious salad, asked for dressing on the side, it was served over-dressed, but was delicious When we were not even half way through our salad and soup, out entrees came so then our table was over crowded and we felt rushed. The food was great service not so good."

  • "My boyfriend and I always pass this restaurant as we are frequent goers of the neighboring restaurant Flip Side and had always had some interest in visiting here. Well the chance finally came this past week and we were impressed. Our food was wonderful as we enjoyed hanger steak and the French dip. Our service was excellent and we were very pleased. I could see noise being a problem during a busy day of the week, but seeing as though we were there on a Monday night, we had no issues."

  • "I chose this restaurant since I previewed their menu - i arrived hoping for the tuna and they informed us that they were out of tuna....had the vegetarian dish instead (ONLY OTHER CHOICE FOR MY DIET). It was very good but I was very disappointed since there were two of us and we each would have ordered something different...instead we both ate the same thing."

  • "Very attractive restaurant, but awfully dark. I like some ambiance and coziness, but we couldn't see the menu! And eating food that I can't really see has always concerned me. The hostess was kind enough to move us to the bar area where the lighting was somewhat better, perhaps because we were under the TV. The meal was fine, but they brought our entrees before we were done with our appetizers. We were dining fairly early and they were not crowded so I don't know what the rush was about..... kind of an underwhelming experience."

  • "Had 9:00 reservations for the 4 course prix fix New Year's Eve dinner. We arrived on time and we're seated within minutes. Our booth was in the bar area which was crowded and a little noisy with a dj for the night. Not complaining though since it was NYE. Our server Michael was great and the food was fantastic. Great menu items to choose from for each course. We chose so that we could share each course and every bite was a hit. Thanks for a great end to 2013."

  • "Our family sat in a cozy corner they called the stage. The beet salad is unbelievable -- beautiful and even more delicious -- the best I have ever had. The charcuterie platter is so interesting and special. The wait staff is always friendly, helpful, and excited to serve us. We frequent One Red Door especially in the summer and love to sit on the patio. We are always happy there, and no matter how many times we go, it always feels like a special occasion. Definitely, One Red Door serves the most beautifully presented, interesting, and tastiest food in town."

  • "The interior of this restaurant is lovely- cozy; inviting; different. The server started out really well, but unfortunately, her service and personality waned quickly. The food was a mixed bag. My party ordered the following: deviled eggs; calamari; mushroom and sausage pizza; lamb bolognese; brussels sprouts; brownie sundae, as well as 7 different drinks. The drinks we're a little high priced for the flavoring, but potent, so that made up for it. The eggs were way overpriced, for a tiny serving. The large serving of calamari was AMAZING. The pizza was large, with a unique flavor, as well as an incredible crust. The lamb bolognese was divine, though the portion could've been larger. This was a good restaurant for a special occasion."

  • "Excellent, elaborate, and unusual menu. My warm spinach salad with the egg and wild mushrooms was amazing! Deviled eggs were a reminder from childhood - wonderful! We also loved food presentation - including plates! We were very much impressed with the service - friendly and very accommodating - my husband changed his vine selection three times, and we received nothing but a smile and friendly suggestions from our server - thank you very much!"

  • "The menu here is creative but not to the point where its outlandish and off-putting. I am vegetarian, and there were some delicious options for me (I highly recommend the beet salad). There is only one vegetarian main dish, but thats pretty standard anywhere you go. It was a cassoulet which was very delicious. My non-veggie friends were all impressed with the meat dishes. The wine list is sizable. The dessert menu is a little too run-of-the-mill, I would have like to see more non-traditional options there. But everything we had was well crafted and excellent, and the ambiance is exactly what you would want for a night out."

  • "We were seated in the bar area, which is perfect for a Saturday night with friends. Enough noise for good energy, but not so much that we couldn't easily have a conversation. We asked the waiter (Michael, who was great) for recommendations, then ordered all three dishes that he recommended (short ribs, skirt steak and walleye). All were excellent - unique, great tasting and beautiful presentation. I have been called 'high maintenance' and this was a really good meal with good service in a really nice environment."

  • "This is one of our favorite place to stop for a light dinner and drinks. The assorted cheese and meat trays are filling. For a full meal I also love their chicken dish and New York strip. Seasoning is perfect and they used a variety of flavors.. it's not your typical run of the mill prepared food. It can be quite noisy at times but it has a very comfortable feeling. Service has always been great! Our servers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The price for some might seem a bit high, but honestly - I think its worth every penny."

Upon finding us a table it had to be prepped and there was considerable time in which the staff was off doing other things - not necessarily tending to the other diners. Once seated it was very difficult to understand the host(esses) as they were mumbling and poorly communicating. Wait staff rebuilt our confidence in the restaurant and the remainder of the experience was a pleasant one."

  • "We went One Red Door for our anniversary, while the food was good it was a very confusing evening. For the price of the food I expected more in the way of service. I do not expect large televisions in an intimate dining experience. The enjoyable part of the evening was the appetizer which was very unique. When I placed the reservation I made them aware that it was our anniversary, not hoping to receive any special treatment, just hoping someone would say Happy Anniversary when we arrived. We were greeted by a young lady who seemed bored when we walked through the door then had to disappear to prepare a booth for us. We were not asked when we placed the reservation which we would prefer. All in all - not a great experience for the occasion."

  • "We liked our second visit to One Red Door except being passed over by three other groups despite having a 7 p.m. reservation. This leaves diners with a not-so-great taste in their mouths, despite your superb salmon, wonderful charcuterie boards, great servers and good wine list. Rehire the front and you'll be better off!"
