NOT for kids. The food was excellent, but this is a place where young professionals gather for drinks after work, etc. There was no kids menu. While the waitress and staff tried their best to make the kids feel welcome and accomidate them, the children really didn't enjoy the experience. However, given it's proximity to the Willis (Sears) tower, this is a great place to have a meal before visiting the skydeck.

I was meeting up with an old friend, so I let the wait staff know that we would be there for a while-there was no dinner rush. However, none of them seemed to get the idea when they kept walking back and forth in front of our table for the better half of an hour! We started off with drinks, 1N mojito and the pomegranate margarita-the mojito came in a whiskey glass-distorted the flavour a lot and the margarita came in a tumbler-what was the bartender thinking? The food wasn't marvelous either. I had the flat iron steak burger, which was cooked ordinarily along with the side of fries. I also had the zucchini straws which were basically zucchini is oil-not appetizing at all! Good to grab a drink, not much else.

Great for lunch in the Loop on a workday. It's always full and busy on the weekdays. Wonderful selection of menu items and I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered here. The wait staff can be a bit short and/or rarely around, but I suspect it's because the restaurant is so packed.

Food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the tables are so jammed together the servers cannot walk between tables without bumping the diners. I wad bumped every 30 seconds for the entire meal and it was incredibly annoying. It was not their fault - literally they squeeze between tables and chairs. I blame the management - the restaurant is fully booked every day during lunch. Take a few tables out and make the diners comfortable so that they can enjoy the food and will return. This was a business lunch for me and I was disappointed my guests could not enjoy the meal. They did have a good laugh when the poor server was taking an order at the next table and had her rear end in the face of one of my associates. Really.

We were seated quickly and on time for the 12:30 PM business lunch reservation. The food and service was good. The menu was diverse and had plenty of healthy plates to pick from. My only knock on this restuarant was the noise. It was so loud it was a bit tough to hear the guy sitting at my table. Despite the noise, I'll go back for sure.

THIS IS FOR OPEN TABLE: DESPITE THE NAME, IT WAS NOT OBVIOUS TO US AS OUT OF TOWNERS WHERE THIS RESTAURANT WAS, AND NOBODY INCLUDING THE CAB DRIVER AND THE GUY IN THE BANK LOBBY, OR ACROSS THE STREET IN THE OPERA HOUSE, COULD TELL US. A LITTLE MORE INFO WOULD BE NICE WHEN OPEN TABLE CHOOSES THE RESTAURANT THRU THE OPERA SITE. THE BUILDING IS ON THE CORNER BUT THE RESTAURANT IS NOT AND THERE IS A VERY MINIMAL SIGN.

My server recommended the cod. For my taste, it was a bit under cooked. It could have stayed on the grill for another minute or so.
Although a popular lunch venue, be prepared, it can be noisy.
