  • "Upon arrival we were quickly met and seated. Our waiter Todd was attentive. I was able to sample wine before ordering a glass. Inventive drinks and appetizers. Butternut squash arancini fritters were golden & crunchy outside and smooth inside. Ask for extra chipotle sauce with it. My roast beef sliders were moist and flavorful. (Considering I asked for well done.) My husbands marinated strip steak was a perfect medium and he enjoyed the pencil thin asparagus with mashed potatoes. The only disappointment was the mac & cheese. While flavorful, It was soupy! I was told this is how they always make it. They quickly took it off the bill. As we were full and happy, we didn't order dessert. We will be returning again and with friends."

  • "This is our 4th time dinning here and once again, the food, service and atmosphere, were great. My favorite appetizer is the Thai Calamari which is consistently good and I tried their citrus marinated skirt steak and was not disappointed. The meat was cooked to order and not only tender but very flavorful as well. We are looking forward to our 5th visit!"

  • "We received our appetizer before our drinks from the bar reached the table. Service was slow, even waited for the hostess for a few minutes before being sat. Music they were playing was horrible!!! Weird techno elevator music on repeat. Food was decent. Mac and cheese kind of boring."

  • "Second visit to One Main did not live up to our first visit. Service was slow, we waited 10 minutes for our drinks to be served, and the first drink, a glass of wine arrived a good 4 or 5 minutes before the simple martini was brought to the table. Multiple courses arrived all at the same time, and the entrées were cold. Oddly, our waiter only spoke to and directed any comments to my husband, (we were a party of 4). We had various servers dropping food and bringing drinks. Not a local restaurant for us, so we will not be going out of our way to return. "

  • "We visited during restaurant week. Gnocchi was slightly over cooked, but had great flavor. Salmon was very tasty! They had a wonderful pair of singers playing acoustic guitar, but it was a little loud. Had the peach cobbler for dessert, slightly dry - could have used a scoop of vanilla icecream. The cheesecake was heavenly! Overall it was a nice dinner. "

  • "We visited on Restaurant Week. It was the only one in Babylon that had a lot of open tables. That concerned us a bit, but it turned out to be quite good. the mushroom Gnocchi with braised beef was delicious as was the Avocado Fries and ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH ARANCINI. Really loved the Arancini. I ordered the Citrus soy marinated steak with mango salsa and fries. I ordered it medium and it came well done. It was also spicy and it did not mention that on the menu. I asked for a baked potato instead of fries and was shocked to learn that "don't carry baked potatoes." I would not order the steak again but would order the Gnocchi. At 7pm they had a live music performance which we really enjoyed. I would definitely come back again."

The hostess was friendly, loved my server Anthony he was sweet, fast, outgoing, loved this place so much made a reservation for the next night but ended up showing up at 4 having some great drinks at the bar with those delicious avocado fries n pizza!! This place is a must go to!!! Thank you One Main for opening such a great spot for us to go to!!! "

  • "Great service, not floored by food though. Went here for brunch last Sunday, believe I ordered the Kristin Omelet or something like it. It had goat cheese, which I enjoy-was definitely the highlight of the omelet. Not the best I've had, tasted very much like standard diner omelet. Mimosas were very good though."

  • "We booked ahead on open table and were seated immediately upon arrival. The service was slow to take orders and bring out food as the restaurant was full. Our waiter was extremely apologetic and explained they were short staffed. The food was great and we will surely be back."

Food was fine, not bad but nothing really memorable. The prices were good for the quantity of food you got. Good brunch spot but based on my experience for brunch there, I will probably skip trying dinner."

  • "In my last review, I had stated that dining there for our third time, there was a problem with both the food and the service. I waited approximately a month and decided to give it one more shot since I really do like this restaurant and the staff. I'm glad I did. Not only did we get the same server, but the food was back to being great and the service, down to the last detail, was on the money and back to our first two visits. Will definitely continue to dine there."

  • "One Main has lots of potential. I have been there a few times and they still have to work out a few kinks. Service is good but slow. This time I took a friend for lunch for her birthday. It was a Tuesday afternoon so the restaurant was relatively empty (2 other tables occupied). We asked for bread since our salads were taking a long time. We were brought a basket of toast, not what you would expect. The decor and bar are very attractive. The management needs to step it up in terms of service and food quality. The salads were only fair. The village could benefit from One Main if they improve and keep diners coming."

  • "Though our server was lovely & personable & food was creative for the Mardi Gras festivities, it was a disappointing experience. I didn't say anything because she was nice. The music was so loud, I couldn't hear my friend talking. We had to yell above the noise! My friend arrived before me by 10 minutes- by the time I was greeted, it was another 15 mins before a drink order was taken & it must have been 30-40 minutes before either of us could drink together! I have been in this restaurant a number of times now and I notice when the owners AREN'T there, the restaurant doesn't run well. We're left waiting endlessly for attention! The wait staff needs to be trained properly and the food & drinks need to be brought out in a timely manner ."

  • "As the "new kid on the block" in this awesome village, they are not having a difficult time fitting in or keeping up. We've been dining in Babylon for many years and "had" our favorite places for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and nightlife. Between the 1M "bar chefs" and their specialty cocktails which are not only creative but blissful. The kitchen chef's, which define the culinary execution of heavenly dishes. The service, which is outstanding, from the second you walk in, to the minute you don't want to leave, this is truly a One Stop gem. We recommend One Main to everyone who looking for a treat, in every sense of the word."

  • "Made a reservation for the long Ireland beer dinner 2/25, and I was very happy I did! The 4 courses of food pairings the chef came up with for the 4 different beers were superb. I was specifically impressed with the IPA cupcakes. I can't wait for this months beer dinner featuring great south bay, one of my favorite breweries. I love that they support local business with their tap selections. Definitely worth stopping by to try a pint of something new. I've also been here for brunch, and besides the usual things you'd expect on a brunch menu there are also things like a breakfast burger and country steak and eggs! Totally recomend this restaurant, friendly staff, fun atmosphere :)"

  • "Keeping in mind the out the door and onto the sidewalk norm that is today's Babylon Village restaurant scene, it was a pleasure to be able to reserve a table for 6 with just a few hours notice. There was room to enjoy a drink at the bar--there's a great craft beer selection-- and then have a round table to enjoy conversation. The option to order small plates is always appreciated with a large group as sharing several small plates make everyone feel a bit more adventurous while keeping the check reasonable. We would return and wish them luck."

  • "Finally a new restaurant moves into the corner of Montauk Hwy and DPA that looks like a real restaurant. That corner has been cursed since Greek Garden moved to its new location over 10 years ago! Well apparently, the corner is still cursed. The best part of my meal was the Johnnie Walker "Neat". I guess the only involvement was the pour, and unless they served it in a dirty glass (which they didn't, thats just my humor) how can you screw that up. I ordered the grilled Mahi, which was so grilled it was unedible! It was served over cous cous that was so salty also unedible. The best part of the meal was the company I was keeping and the Sauteed Spinach."

  • "This was our third time at this restaurant. The first two times were fantastic, this time, we were disappointed. My wife ordered the burger and I ordered the ribeye. Burger: the meat was very lean, too lean, so it was dry, the bun was hard and dry, and the fries overdone and, you guessed it, dry. My ribeye was, I must say, very flavorful and cooked to perfection, rare, but, unfortunately, half the steak was warm-to-hot and the other half was cool. The roasted potatoes were excellent. I couldn't finish it so I asked for a doggy bag and to included the potatoes. When the waitress came back, she said thank you and handed us the bill. Didn't even ask us if we wanted any dessert. When I open my doggy bag at home, just steak, no potatoes."

  • "Went there with a good friend to catch up. Portions were good for the price. We each had a glass of wine. Their Thai calamari appetizer was very good. I had their burger and my friend had the ribeye. I finished the burger but left the onion rings behind. Too greasy. My friend enjoyed her steak and thought the sides were ok. She took half her steak home. We had coffee and shared the Choc. P/B dessert. It was delicious! Total bill $100. We both left full, and we have appetites! The service was good but we were the only ones dining! Maybe it was just because it was a Thursday night. They had a musician playing live which was a nice surprise. I would try it again, but I would go on a Friday or Saturday night."

  • "I wanted to love this place as its always busy and seemed vibrant to walk by while strolling. However, the food was average compared to other places in the area and the apps needed more flavor. The avocado fries had no taste - there was really no creative twist and the fried calamari was bland and wasn't even served with a side of marinara sauce. The country fried steak was pretty good though and the waiter was ok. The bus boy seemed annoyed and constantly came over and took one plate from someone while others were still eating. Huge pet peeve of mine. Overall I'd say it was fair because the price $223+tip for 4 people with 7 glasses of wine, 2 apps, 3 mains and 1 medium dish, 2 desserts seemed like it should've cost a little less."

  • "I went back for the little biscuits and they bring a basket of soggy bread pieces?? I complained and the waitress said 'I don't why they brought you that. I did get my biscuits. The food is decent and the prices are moderate .They could do better on the arugula salad too many wilted greens . Over all worth a visit. The noise that night from the bar was deafening."
