Had the 4 course local flavors menu. $60 per person. The first 2 courses and the desert courses were excellent. The entree course was just okay, not what I expected for the price and a their focus on local flavors. Interior very warm and inviting. Wine list was adequate. Server was very new and had to be prompted to suggest the specials and asked about the local flavors menu.

I typically do not like writing negative reviews, but our experience warranted one. The hostess was extremely warm and pleasant, & then it was downhill from there. The restaurant was not super busy, so that should've been our cue, but it was rated well & the ambiance was great, so we were excited about the potential. Then our server, Alyssa, arrived. She started ok, but quickly turned & was obviously annoyed anytime we needed her assistance. I had the Pork Special, my wife had the Walleye, my daughter had the chicken fingers and my son had the macaroni & cheese, which was the best meal at the table. The pork was very fatty, the fish was overcooked & the accompanying rice was bland, & the chicken fingers were hard & dry. Not a good meal.

I took the wife on a weekend get a way and found this spot. The food was good. The only things lacking was the waitress never seemed to be there with her service taking a bit, the other is they should have a dress code such as no flip flops. I can understand wanting to bring in the tourists, but the menu doesn't reflect the dress in the restaurant.

We have always loved eating at One Eleven Main, but this time the experience was lacking. Our server did not tell us about the specials (we had to ask after a long wait), was very slow, and did not seem too motivated to check on us. The food was, sadly and surprisingly, not up to the usual par of One Eleven Main. My husband had very bland, stringy pot roast, and I had very blah trout with a breading that can only be described as "school cafeteria-like." We left feeling hungry and dissatisfied. There was one bright spot, and that was our bartender who made us a fantastic pitcher of sangria. If not for the sangria, the experience would have been one star.

We arrived a bit early, but were seated upon arrival. The waitress gave us time to review wine list before asking if we would be interested in something to drink. The food we ordered was cooked to our desire and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. We don't often order dessert but that evening did and was excellent as well. Overall a great experience!

We made reservations for Sat. night at 6:45. We arrived at 6:30 expecting to have a drink at the bar and wait for our table. We were seated immediately and surprised to see the restaurant almost empty. We were seated against the wall with no view of the windows. I mentioned to our server that it was our anniversary and felt that she wasn't at all interested in being there. Our service was very slow which was ok as we were hoping to extend our meal out as it was a special occasion. My husbands food was as ordered and very good, my steak was not cooked to order or trimmed very well and the shrimp was only half shelled. I was never asked for my drink order. We would likely not dine here again.

I selected this restaurant based on the great reviews for a "farm to table" experience. I sent them a note via open table that I wanted to celebrate both my husband's birthday and our anniversary,I then visited the restaurant the day before and spoke to the hostess. She told me that it would be taken care of. I was surprised when we were sat in a part of the restaurant that had been set up for a bachlorette party. Now, I went to speak privately to the waiter, and he said he would do his best.It was too loud, the food order was wrong, and when I ask to see the manager, they sent up the hostess and she told us the manager was too busy with other issues. They told us that they would "comp" a meal that was never eaten, and we left.

I came here with a large group of ladies for dinner while in town for the weekend. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. They also had a pretty large gluten-free menu compared to some of the other places in town, which was great for a few people in our group. I would come back here again.

Service was impeccable. Beef Strogonauf was very good and the serving was enough for 3, no joke! My BF had the fish special- perfect portion and taste was wonderful! The restaurant wss very quiet, hardly any clients but we like quiet. The building is beautiful too. Great dining experience that I highly recommend and I'd definitely return to.

Food was just okay. Our server was lacking - many tables that came in after us were done and out before us. We were not served bread - when we asked about it, the server said "it was in the oven" and not available when it should have been served, then he forgot. We ordered dessert - took about 15/20 minutes for it to be served - which is too long.

I have multiple food "issues" and the waitress was very understanding and worked with the chef to come up with a fabulous meal that I could have. I wish more restaurants were so easy and accommodating. The food wasn't just great because it met my dietary restrictions - the food was great because it was fresh, great flavors and cooked perfecting. Thank you One Eleven Main!

The atmosphere and look of the restaurant was nice! The staff was very friendly and they have a nice wine and beer list. The cocktails were too sweet though. The fish dish that some ordered was light, flaky and had great flavor. The brisket special that I ordered was overcooked, tough and dry. Other dishes were enjoyed by our group like the brisket sandwich and the fish and chips. Overall, it was a good experience.

The restaurant is nicely laid out and the portraits of local artists/artisans was a wonderful touch. Service was friendly and professional by all members of the staff. Unfortunately, all of our meals were lackluster at best. My dish was the trout special. The trout was nestled on a bland bed of rise with a sauce that had wilted from sitting too long- trout was slightly over cooked (mildly dry) The vegetable side amounted to three disks of squash.

We enjoyed outstanding service and atmosphere at this restaurant. I had the walleye which was very good. I was hoping to see wine on the wine list from the four local wineries in the Galena area but did not. The menu offered a great selection, however it made me question how much of the food was derived from the local area as the restaurant claims.

I had very high hopes for this venue. It's a standout among the other pubs lining Main Street in busy Galena on a summer Saturday night. The portabella mushroom appetizer was amazing. My broiled walleye over smashed potatoes with garlic broccoli was excellent. The flour less chocolate cake was smothered in ganache with just the right size dollop if vanilla bean ice cream from a local dairy. I have to disclose that the air conditioning was not working adequately. We were seated at a table near the bar and it did get noisy. And sad to say my husbands salad came with small ants. He waved down the busboy who could not have been more gracious and apologetic. It's wonderful to source everything locally but you still have to wash the produce!;)

although supporting local suppliers is their mantra they should also pay closer to attention to their entrees.. my wife had blackened chicken which was buried in enough pasta an to feed four people and I had a blandly spiced catfish which sat upon a bed of risotto intermixed with mushrooms and asparagus (my bad for picking this as I never have good experience with risotto)..

One Eleven Main is one of our favorites in Galena. Food always prepared per desire, excellent service, and terrific food from local providers are staples in its performance. We had a pork chop special which was good although the sauce was a bit tangy for my palette. Those with heartier taste buds would undoubtedly enjoy it. The New York strip was outstanding. Both the garlic mashed and sweet potato compote were very good. We'll be back!

A charming restaurant in a charming little town, that serves excellent cuisine crafted from local ingredients. I had the ravioli, and from the list of strongly flavored ingredients (lemon, asparagus, herbs) was expecting something bold and powerful. I was pleasantly surprised at how sublimely and subtly these various notes had been combined into a tasty dish. Nothing was loud or overpowering, everything worked together in harmony. My wife's pork sandwich was moist and delicious, the way good pulled pork should be. My wife would also recommend her hand-crafted muddled cocktail (Pirate's punch) which featured fresh in-season blueberries. It was, in her words, "D-lish".

This restaurant has a decent atmosphere. Was not at all impressed with the service. We felt that our server would have preferred to be somewhere else and was not that attentive. Our appetizer was brought after we ate our salad. Food was fair and very overpriced. Everything is ala carte and you are not allowed to share except for a price. Would not return or recommend this restaurant to family or friends.

This is a favorite restaurant for our girls' night out. The service is always attentive without hovering. The Chef's Spring Menu was outstandingly delicious starting with the watercress buttermilk soup with smoked whitefish; who knew that combination could be so amazing? My friend kept raving about the asparagus tempura...so did I. We both chose the juniper marinated fillet of beef after agonizing over the jager schnitzel. We were not disappointed as it was tender and beyond tasty. The chef truly cares about the food and the patron. He stopped at our table to inquire about our experience. Did I mention that we drive two hours to eat from the Chef's menu. Can't wait to see what his next offering will be.
