One Eleven MainComfort Food with Pizzazz!One Eleven Main was a great surprise! From the brickwork decoration to the interesting framed artwork in the dining room, the restaurant exuded a simple, yet elegant atmosphere. We came for our anniversary dinner during our vacation in Galena and had a wonderful time. We ordered the beer cheese fondue which we wish we can bring home! My beef pot roast just melted in my mouth and my husband ordered the ny strip which was excellent as well. Our server was amazing and handled the entire restaurant but was attentive to everyone! The menu has a lot of variety which was great as we had a teenager and a 8 year old with us. Our server was very attentive and provided some great suggestions for our dinning experience. The food was fabulous and everyone in our group was very impressed. Each time I've eaten there I've had a fantastic meal and relaxing time with friends. There are so many dining choices in Galena and we've tried most of them, but we keep coming back to 111 Main. The staff is very helpful and good. The food and wine is excellent. It tends to be a little noisy, but not a deal breaker. We have been going to 111 since the first year it opened and it has maintained a high rating with us ever since.
