My wife and I have been coming to One Bistro for years and have never been dissapointed. Welcome treat after long NE winter. Food was outstanding. Had the lobster rigatoni, tons of lobster meat, really worth it. Exceptional. My wife had salmon and said it was terrific. This is a neighborhood favorite of ours, but the past 2 times we have been here, food has been just ok. It is an expensive meal. I was very impressed with the food presentation; they were very creative and attrative. There were four of us and we were all pleased with our various menu selections.
I loved the lobster & eggs benedict. My daughter loved her halibut. My husband loved his petite fillet and his creme brulle. I had checked the brunch menu before making the reservation, but they had a special Easter menu, which I did not realize. It was a 3-course, fixed price menu - way more food than we wanted to have. Everything was very good, but we would have preferred to pick and choose from the menu offerings.
