  • "We had a group of seven. We were unable to get a reservation at 7 but we took the one at 6 and it was just fine. We had plenty of room and our server was excellent. Our food was delicious and the portions were huge. We brought a lot of our food home. It is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. We were very pleased that we chose this restaurant to celebrate and important birthday."

  • "If I had known that this was a "hotel" restaurant, I would not have made the reservation. I had the prime rib hash which consisted of last night's prime rib (very fatty cuts) chopped into pieces with rounded potatoes that looked like they came from a mold or something. That was topped with hollandaise sauce - first time I was ever served hollandaise sauce with hash. My husband had eggs benedict with avocado which tasted good but really, really heavy in your stomach. We sat the the very empty bar so the bartender had plenty of time to spend with us, ergo - the service was great. The food...not so much."

  • "New Spring Menu Early Bird Dinner Specials were very good. Seafood chowder, Steak Diane and chocolate cake for me and seafood chowder, herb crusted cod and chocolate cake for my dining companion. I believe there were 3 additional meal choices available. Restaurant was very clean and the service was quick, friendly, not rushed. We will definitely return."

  • "My wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try for a date night. We'd originally planned to go somewhere else, but there were no reservations. So, One Bistro was a last minute find for us (through Open Table). What a great find it was! I was skeptical at first since it's attached to a Sheraton, but once you're in the restaurant you'd never know it. The ambiance was great and the service was quick and very professional. It felt like fine dinning without the sticker shock. The food was also very good. The cinnamon, hazelnut, fig, Parma ham & balsamic flatbread was amaaaazing and definitely a must get!"

  • "The food was not seasoned and the manager did not take anything off of the bill even thought the food was not even eaten. The meals were between $25-$30 a piece. I will never go there again to just throw my $150 dollars down the drain and we were celebrating my daughters 18th birthday. Horrible dinner and management. I will say the the host was phenomenal and the waitress was great! Too bad the manager could not be as good or even close."

  • "The reservation I made did not allow us prompt seating, in fact we still waited nearly a half hour after the scheduled time to be seated. However, it was clear the staff was particularly overwhelmed that night and we were compensated with a glass of champagne for each member of our party while we waited, which was beyond necessary and a nice consolation . The food was decent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It catered to an older crowd, but I suppose that's the be expected in the area. I wouldn't make this a special destination but it was a nice night out with friends."

  • "The deal at the Early Bird is a great deal but we were disapointed in the quality of the main entrees. The cod was very soft not firm and the chef's feature, shrimp and crabmeat, was very ordinary and the crab was very fishy. The salad and dessert were great."

  • "Certainly not a 'bistro' in any sense of the name. This restaurant is connected to the Sheraton hotel. It's fairly large and has booth seating. The service is just mediocre, as is the food. If you don't want to hit a chain restaurant with the kids, go to One Bistro, but if you are looking for a nice night out, go somewhere else. My wife and I both left wishing that we had not wasted a night out on this place."

We were stuck at a table in the back of the restaurant between larger tables. In addition to feeling squished in, we were barely able to hold a conversation with each other due to the noise level. It made an otherwise lovely evening, a rather poor experience."

  • "Took my wife out for her birthday dinner. First time in this restaurant. And boy, would I come here again!! They had a great selection of meals... and delicious ones too. Their portion sizes are great! When we ordered desert we were expecting regular sized dessert commonly seen in other restaurants but man, what we were served was much more than we expected. We enjoyed each part of the 3 course meal. The waiter was okay, nonintrusive but generally available to serve us. Will come here again at some point. I recommend without any reservations (no pun intended)!"

  • "Our group of six had good dinners -- special cedar plank salmon dish was much better than the usual salmon entree on the menu, pizza and salads were good, pork chop special was only so-so -- served up by a very attentive and thoughtful server (Arcely). The noise level was a bit louder than usual (the Patriots were about to play the Colts in the playoffs, so, the bar was livelier than usual), but still, it was an enjoyable evening. This place is popular, so, definitely reserve ahead!"

  • "One Bistro attached to a Sheraton Hotel and normally I wouldn't expect it to be very good or even just OK, well just the opposite. Prices are very reasonable, in fact were we there rather early (right from work 5:00) and they had an early bird pre-fix $14.95, 3 course meal, fabulous and plentiful! Three of us had Steak Diane, yum! and one had a seafood dish that was also fantastic, shrimp and scallops. This wasn't my first time there (nor will it be my last) but the first time I was meeting someone there I went by it because I didn't realize it was in the hotel, so if you're looking for it that's something to look for. Now the wait staff always great, this night we had Sarah, lovely and efficient. Give it a try you won't be disappointed"

  • "The ambiance is great and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We were there for the early bird dinner and there is a very good selection. The Boston Cod was delicious and my daughter had the salmon and jasmine rice which she really enjoyed. My husband had the Steak Diane. He said that it was tasty but the steak was a little tough and he wished he had ordered the Boston Cod. Other than that, everything was great and we definitely will be back."

  • "Your restaurant is clearly the best restaurant in my town of Norwood, MA. ...thanks, I think at least partly, to the owner Factory Mutual. Well run, consistent in quality, graceful. If we American's had the same respect for food preparation as Europeans you might be a one star in the Michelin rankings....as the Michelin reviewers said when to arrived in the US..."the cooking here is of such a high quality that it's a wonder it isn't better". You can't top that"

Service was great, food was great, warm and cozy interior, easy accessible, etc. The only very small comment I could make is that our table was very close to the kitchen where the staff picked up the plates, which made it a bit noisy. We definitely recommend this restaurant."

  • "Despite the excellent staff (who warmly took coats away from the table and accommodated allergic diet, created a made-to-order meal for one of our party), we Four were surprised & disappointed by our recent dinner. The food was below par and the drinks weak. Our foursome had been patrons at One at least three times before, so imagine our disappointment when swordfish was hard and dry, squash actually bitter, a clam had to be spat out (discreetly), and the seafood 'soup' had no liquid. None of us complained at the time; it was clearly a busy (Thursday) night when a large party/convention occupied the staff. Though highest marks for staff, we Four won't be returning to One."

  • "One Bistro is my favorite in Norwood. I live in Norwood and go there often. It is pricey for dinner. My party was there for Thanksgiving Dinner. It is one price with 6 offerings including traditional Turkey that was very good. One of the guest thought the food could have been hotter. She should have mentioned it and it would have been taken care of. This is a upscale casual restaurant at the 4 point hotel in Norwood. The restaurant, to my knowledge, is independent of the hotel and a popular place in Norwood in addition to hotel guests."

  • "We decided to try out this restaurant for my wife birthday. There was not a hostess to greet us upon arrival and she did not come up to us until after we were standing there for almost 5 mins. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a romantic feel to it. I believe they even have an outdoor patio in the summer time. The drinks were great but the food is the reason this restaurant received such low grade. My wife ordered their rack of lamb. It came out very rare (she ordered it well) and we also found what appeared to be a piece of plastic in her food. We brought this up to our waitress attention but the experience had been ruined at this point."

  • "I am not sure if "Foodies" is the correct way to describe us. We like food and with that we try different foods and different ways of preparing foods.We look for restaurants with a different twist on the preparation of the foods we like. At One Bistro I had “Swirled Idaho & Sweet Potato Puree” that was excellent, and I am not a sweet potato person. The filet was as tender as any I have at the $50 a steak places and the braised short ribs were fall off the bone finger licking good. The seafood on the risotto was also cook to perfection although I wish there was more than 3 little necks and you were hard pressed to find any lump crab meat. Overall the prices were reasonable for the portions and I would recomend this restaurant to my friends."
