Onda - MirageI had tried many Italian foodI had tried many Italian food in the past, and Onda is by far the best! The homemade spaghetti was very good, and my husband ordered the Veal Saltinbocca, I tried it and it was sooooo delicious! The manager came to check on our table and later on bought us a dessert for our Anniversary. It made our night! High recommended! The service was AMAZING. Sometimes we go places and they are almost annoying with being attentive. They had it just right. The food was FANTASTIC!! First the one host somehow cancels my 1000 point 6pm reservation, as I received an email on my phone, so I inquired and they told me it was a mistake and they will have it restored. About an hour later while sitting at the bar she comes to me unable to restore and asks me to initiate a new reservation and she'll get that one to approve. But by then the 1000 point reservations were gone and she had no solution. It has a cozy atmosphere where you can have a nice conversation among your party. The service was excellent! They have a wide selection of wines that complemented our meal. The food was great. Our steaks were cooked to our liking and the sides were delicious. The management was engaging and visited our table. It was my daughter's birthday and she loved the experience. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the Mirage's website, because it is a very large restaurant with several quiet/personal tables. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. We had great services with "Sam" and the manager "Chris" took his time with us in selecting a great wine to have with dinner. Bar was beautiful, restaurant even better. It's hidden away so you don't even remember you are in a casino. Food was spectacular! We had beef cheeks and monk fish, probably two of the best dishes I have ever had. Wine list was one of the most exstencive I have seen in a long time. We also met the maitre'd from Jersey that was mentioned in a previous post. Not only was hey very helpful with the food selection, but he picked a wine that was perfect. Turns out that he is actually the General Manager and was very pleasant. Being from New York myself, I find it rather insulting that someone would pass judgment on this guy because of his accent! Either way, he was great, service was great, Onda was awesome!2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been to Onda many timesI've been to Onda many times in the past, but not in the last few years.
We were a family group of 8, celebrating a 90th birthday. Our server, Enrique, was
excellent; great attitude. The only potential downside was that Onda's espresso machine
was not working but, at my suggestion, the staff went to another of Mirage's restaurants
and got lattes and cappuccinos for us. Not only were we served our lattees, etc, in a
very timely matter, but the drinks actually came steaming hot.
All in all, a great experience. It was great to see that the food and service have
