A word from Olympic Provisions Northwest
Olympic Provisions Northwest is the convivial west-side answer to our intimate Southeast location. Marked by a string of patio lights on an otherwise industrial stretch of NW Thurman, OPNW offers a menu of lovely rustic European-inspired fare in a warm, windowed setting, accentuated by our antique French rotisserie.

Thomas Keller-trained Colin Stafford comes to Olympic Provisions Northwest after serving as the Sous Chef for Alex Yoder at our southeast location since March of 2011. It was Stafford’s stint at Bouchon, the sister of Thomas Keller’s legendary restaurant French Laundry, where Stafford learned the meticulousness and attention to detail that instilled in him to make every dish the best he possibly can.

Come in to OPNW for happy hour and warm yourself with a few of our craft cocktails. You’ll find yourself staying for dinner amongst a friendly crowd, where you might hear the strains of old funk and soul mixed with blues and local bands.

This place was awesome. The food was terrific, and I really liked how unpretentious the place was. Think high-end deli with seating, but the food WAYYY better. Not a huge menu, but the items were prepared perfectly and a lot of thought went in to the preparation. The wine pairings our waiter suggested were spot-on.

We are fans of great local meats and Olympic Provisions delivers. The pork loin in particular was fabulous. They also make some great drinks and have a nice wine selection of both local and European wines. We were there for dinner, but it looks like they'd be a great place to get together with friends and share some charcuterie and drinks.

Expected a casual dinner. The place is laid back, but the food was outstanding and really got us going. Salmon was cooked perfectly, with nice accompaniment of slightly picked onions and fresh corn. Standout was the pecorino parsley sausage with Romanesco sauce. Best sausage I have ever had. Gazpacho was great. Heirloom melons with avocado, cucumbers and mint rocked. And very affordable. We were happy.

Olympic Provisions was a wonderful find thanks to a review we read in The Guardian. Delicious charcuterie boards - we tried the Spanish and French with chorizo and pork shoulder being standouts. Oysters were wonderful. Buratta agrumato cheese was delicious served with fried basil and oven roasted tomato. We were able to purchase some sausage from the deli case and enjoy our meat the next day. Great wine and cocktails. Finished our meal with a wonderful olive oil cake. Small and intimate location with very funky decor.

We always pick a new spot for our celebratory anniversary dinner. This was different than our usual "foodie" choices yet we were very pleased. We ordered the Spanish charcuterie salami and cheese platter (added on a couple of cheeses),steak tar tar, and butter leaf salad. The waiter helped us select a lovely red wine to compliment our food. We passed on the main course since this was enough for us. We plan on returning!

We got there 10 minutes early and the waitress said our table was not ready. Which is fine because we were early. So we were asked to sit in the bar area. The place is smaller. Then we were not seated until 15 minutes after our reservation time. It also was a Wednesday, so we didn't think it would be too busy. I have never had to wait after making a reservation on opentable. I was a little disappointed. The food was good. They had a lot of interesting choices. We liked the different themed boards, we got the Italian. Overall good food but we didn't like waiting for 25 minutes for a table we reserved 3 days in advanced.

We come to the NW OP quite a bit and always have a fantastic experience, so this may be more of an Open Table issue: On our last visit we had reserved a table for two, but upon arrival we were told we could choose two seats at the communal table, two seats at the small-ish bar by the window, or a table outside where the sun would be in one of our eyes from the direction that tables are set. If we would have shown up unannounced just wanting to get in that would be totally understandable, but when you reserve a table, it should be ready when you arrive and not given to you as a plethora of options, none of which are ideal. Maybe there's not an option, but restaurants should be able to say "community or outdoor seating only" on Open Table.

My recent dinner at Olympic Provisions was superb. There are good meals, excellent meals, and superb meals, like concerts. The staff are friendly in a genuine way, and know the menu down to every detail. Five of us shared a wide variety of dishes, and everything was wonderful and unique. Of particular note were all sausages, and the pork loin, which is brined before cooking.

We had a lovely meal at Olympic Provisions, the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the before dinner cocktails, different and deadly. The wine our waitress suggested was also wonderful. She did forget our order of brussel sprouts or I would have rated service higher. Timing from the kitchen was perfect. I just wasn't prepared for how small the restaurant is. We sat at the counter looking out to the street so it made conversation awkward.

If you like salamis and the like, this is the place to go. Numerous choices of different styles (Spanish, Italian, French). Fun to sit at the small kitchen bar and see the chefs prepare the food. You're pretty much in the kitchen when sitting there. I wish I remembered by waiter's name, but he was friendly, helpful and professional. Steered me to some good choices. I would definitely go again.

We had a delightful time at Olympic Provisions. The space is lovely and the food was delicious. Our friend, from Ohio, had the French board for his dinner. He thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. The roast pork was crispy on top and moist within, and the pasta was so tender. Each item was well prepared. The service was happily friendly and professional. A really lovely evening. Thank you.

Sub-average service resulted in a disappointing evening. Although entrees were fine, we were told that the chef would not appreciate us wanting the bratwurst on a hoagie despite the fact that it's served like that at dinner. In addition, our one dessert...pre-made cool cheesecake with warm caramel syrup...took 20 minutes to prepare. We were told that the kitchen (both cooks) was working as hard as they could...which tells me they were either understaffed or not juggling orders very well. A previous attempt to enjoy brunch on a weekend was met with a very curt rebuke for trying to enter the restaurant 5 minutes before they officially opened (although the door was wide open as they prepared the outdoor seating).

This was my first visit to Olympic Provisions, and I will most definitely be back. We ordered the Spanish Board, Italian Board, and kielbasa a la carte; everything was amazing! The meats were incredibly flavorful and rich, and were paired nicely with olives, cheeses, and nuts. Since we did not order any entrees, I cannot say whether or not a full meal would be satisfying for a hearty appetite; however, the quality of the items we did try was superb. Dessert was equally mind-blowing: the salted caramel cheesecake and rhubarb ice cream are to die for. If you are a carnivore with a sweet tooth, you owe it to yourself to try this place. While pricey, it is well worth it for a special occasion. The service was also very pleasant -- gold star!

Our foursome had a wonderful experience at Olympic provisions NW. All the food items were exciting & delicious, especially the prime rib. I loved my lamb shank but it was definitely too salty for me. The board was good as was dessert. But the highlight of our visit was the sensational service by Katy - how professional! One of our party was not the easiest guest to please, but Katy was up to the task. I bought some Kielbasa on the way out and it was great at home. Great staff - I recommend it to all.

My husband and I went here to celebrate on Friday night. We can hands-down say it was the best dinner we have ever had out. We had an Italian charcuterie plate, amazing drinks, and meals to die for. I had the lamb shank and my husband ordered half a chicken. This type of restaurant is our of our price range on a normal day, but for this celebration we thought it was worth every penny. Thanks for the lovely dinning experience, Olympic Provisions!

if you are into charcuterie - this is probably a great place to go for happy hour or late afternoon nibble. Dinner on the other hand I am not sure - the dining table space is really poorly laid out - so unfortunately 2 of the 2 tops are in the path of everyone from servers to other customers - thats where we were seated. I had the true cod - strange combination of cold potatoe salad with pickled items with the small hot cod. It wasn't 'bad' just not my taste. The other entree was the 1/2 rotisserie chicken which was pretty good.
