Out ticket was lost or something and so we waited over an hour for our food for 9 of us. The manager made up for it though in slashing our bill and free dessert so it turned out ok. The ambiance made it worth while also. Having a toddler though was a bit of a pain to have a 2.5 hr dinner! Will be back soon. Things happen! I love the grilled bossa fish! The grilled veggies were a little undercooked though but still good.

The smell inside the restaurant makes you want to try everything. Everything we ordered, the gyro, the salad with gyro slices, the pita and hummus and souvlaki were incredible. Nice place my wife and I had lunch on ou last day in Galveston. Definitely check this place out for some excellent Greek food.

My first visit here was in May 2014; I brought my mom for an informal Mother's Day dinner. The service was great- the staff were friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Not to mention the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. My mom is gluten-free and vegan, and they had lots of delicious options for her to choose from, which we really appreciated. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back next time we visit Galveston!

We had large, fresh Greek salads that had generous amounts of feta and other good ingredients. The restaurant has a wide menu of Greek and other dishes.

This was perfect for our large group! We had 14 for dinner, and they accommodated our group perfectly! Food was wonderful. Stuffed bossa fish was our favorite. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bonus: Try the salt scrub in the ladies room, then buy it! We had a really great time!

My husband and I were on a romantic Valentines weekend getaway. We wanted a place with a great view and beach front ambiance. Two different sites for this restaurant with two totally different settings. We thought that by being advertised as being on the seawall it would have a really great view and setting. We expected something comparable to the Olympia Grille Pier 21. Very disappointed! The restaurant is located in an old strip mall with a view of the parking lot and stairwell to the second level. The food and service were great but next time we will definitely go to the pier 21 location. I would reccomend this restaurant but not this location.

This was our first visit to Olympia Grill and we were not disappointed. We started with the Zeus Sampler and everything tasted wonderful. I ordered the gyro platter and my girlfriend ordered a shrimp plate. Both were really tasty. The gyro meat was seasoned well. My only wish would be that the meat not be sliced so thin as it cools off too fast. Other than that, the waitstaff were wonderful and always there to refill our glasses timely. The floor manager came by and introduced herself as well and we watched as she bused tables which is always impressive. A well run establishment with wonderful food. Will definitely visit again on our next visit to Galveston.

  • Expensive Lunch

Our lunch was great, but $60 for lunch for two in a cafe is expensive. Hummus, two drinks and two lunch entrees is STEEP for lunch....don't care how great the food was, and it was delicious. Tourist attraction....that's all.
