  • "This place is honestly a new favorite of mine. The hosts were very helpful in accommodating my request to add one extra diner. While the table wasn't ready at the time of my reservation (it was only 15 minutes we waited and it was no big deal) the host staff offered on their own behalf a round of mimosas on them to make up for us having to wait. It was extremely thoughtful and we appreciated it immensely as most times it's the people who complain that are comped items. The food was consistent, delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The service is spot on. The staff seem completely genuine. My one critique would be there seems to be quite a few flys in the front of the restaurant to which people were constantly swatting."

  • "Sadly we won't be back although the room was gorgeous and they had a cute little garden on display. Booked online for a special occasion and asked that something special be done for my wife's birthday. The message must not have gotten thru to the server. The lamb shank was dry, scallops too salty and when we asked for a beer similar to Blanche de Brussels a blueberry lager was offered. Flies buzzing in the window next to us and the chairs had seen better days. The walk across the street to Lick ice cream was just what we needed afterwards. Olivia has a lot going for it but she needs a little attention to details before we would go back. Adding "Notable wine list" to submit form."

  • "Visited Olivia for the first time Saturday night. The staff was very attentive and very accommodating. A gamet wine was not my liking, and was replaced at no cost by a very nice pinot noir. With respect to the food: My wife had the house salad and wagyu beef with frites. The frite were outstanding, however the beef was fatty, even for wagyu beef. Parts were inedible. I had the cheese plate and the duck. The cheese plate was fun and unique. The duck was expertly cooked, but was accompanied by small bits of cauliflower and maybe 3 brussel spouts. A more balanced presentation would have been nice. The desserts were a bit strange for our tastes. Overall, it was nice to try a modern french menu, but not at the price (about $200, including tip)."

  • "On two occasions, I have had a wonderful foodie meal and a great time at Olivia's -- and with 18 month old twins eating with me. The staff is so attentive to children that they made the adult experience equally satisfying. It helps that the "carrot" for the meal is a visit with the chickens in the back of the restaurant. The chef is excellent but I can't say enough about the friendly and accommodating wait staff."

  • "Olivia did not disappoint. We had an early reservation and sat outside in the cool evening breeze. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, but not smothering. The brussels sprouts with hogs head was interesting. The scallops' presentation was 5 star, and they were delicious and perfectly prepared. Our server paired our wines all the way through dessert. All in all, a very enjoyable occasion to help Meals on Wheels feed those who don't have a chance to dine like this. We will be back!"

  • "I liked this restaurant for the farm to table aspect. The food was delicious. I had to really interject myself to be waited on at the bar. They were doing the "we are so busy so we are ignoring you routine" but once we sat down, the service was great. I think if bartenders are busy, they should simple look at you, say hello and say I will be with you in just a minute. Hostess Staff was very friendly.:) The veggie quiche was amazing! "

  • "I can't type my entire story bc it won't allow enough room for it. Long story super short: I took my mom for Mother's Day bc I wanted to treat her. Our waiter took forever to bring our drinks (over 5 minutes), messed up our order, took just the eggs back to the kitchen, while waiting for the food to be cooked the way we had asked the first time, the rest of our food got cold. My coffee also sat un-filled the entire duration of our meal. It was only after flagging down the waiter it was refilled before we left. In sumation: food cooked wrong and poor service makes me never want to return and tell everyone else what happened on the ONE DAY everyone should be on point. "

  • "This was my second visit to Olivia for brunch. Their menu is impeccable - it was difficult to decide what to get because everything sounds so darn good. I got the Willie Nelson plate - it's chicken fried steak, gravy, eggs, and it's supposed to come with herbed mashed potatoes, but I subbed their smoked gouda grits. Excellently spiced gravy and meat, and those grits are to die for. My wife got the brisket hash, and loved it. There were a few misses here and there that I'll chalk up to visiting on a packed Mothers Day. We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time. The hostess said she would replace a dirty menu, but never came back. The eggs on my dish were a bit overcooked. Still would go again."

  • "It was great. Had my sister, brother in law and another married couple in from Houston. This hit the spot and then some. Server informed us that the food was taking a little longer than usual, hooked us up with free grits, sticky buns and champagne. Shortrib burger and fried chicken were so damn good. But the deviled eggs were the highlight, which may not sound right, but trust me. They are never the exact same twice, but these were spicy and delicate and amazing. "

  • "Went with my wife on a Friday night. The restaurant was not too busy, service was friendly and attentive, and the food had some impressive highs (Smoked Trout Croquette - flavorful and balanced, beautifully presented) as well as some lows (Octopus & Romaine Salad - needed more flavor and was difficult to eat). The ambiance was comfortable, but the music could have been a bit louder to create a better energy in the room. All in all we enjoyed our experience and would definately go back."

  • "Perhaps my expectations were too high, but both my husband and I were disappointed in the food at brunch. The menu looked amazing, and the waitstaff were both prompt and courteous - however the food just didn't stand out in our opinion. I had shrimp with Gouda cheese grits while he has the macdaddy (pork belly with egg on an English muffin). I found the grits too salty for my taste, and on his the pork belly was dry (which I didn't know was even possible). Next time we'll likely try a different spot."

  • "We have been disappointed so many times but this was an excellent surprise. If you go out and spend over $100 on dinner you should expect the king of meal and service that Olivia provides. It was the best meal we've had at a restaurant in quite some time. And many others in recent experience were not. Go to this restaurant, you won't be sorry."

  • "Olivia's is a great place for brunch. The atmosphere is just right for a special occasion and homey and warm for any occasion. The food highlights fresh ingredients and has items not normally found at a typical brunch which makes it inviting. The service is spot on. The only drawback might be the parking if a huge amount of people were there but we go on a Saturday morning which made for fast and easy parking. I had the lobster benny and really enjoyed it and the price is moderate."

  • "My daughter wasn't hungry until I ordered the shrimp hors d'oeuvre. She kept eyeing me to see if I was going to stab her for the last one. She ordered a main course which she thought was delish-- which was lucky because she didn't get one bit of my steak and pommes. It's got loads of atmosphere, too, so we had to behave."
