"After reading so many positive reviews of Oliveto's we were excited about our first meal there. I must say that the food was good, but not nearly as good as what we expected. The service was good...we had a great table...the ambiance is just what we like, but I would say the meal was not worth the price. We have eaten in the bar area downstairs, which has a super feel to it and we will definitely eat there again, but we will probably not return to the main retaurant."

"This is a nice place to meet for lunch. Unfortunately, it has a very limited menu. They had about three or four entrees to choose from for lunch, and there was not an item on the menu that really captured my desire."

"Overall, Oliveto's is a lovely upscale restaurant with a nice wine list, interesting food selections and great table service. Everything we ordered was good. The service really is superb. However, my group of four, for which I made reservations, did not get seated until 30+ minutes after our reservation time. There were at least 4 groups of 4 that came well after us that were seated before us. The seating hostess tried to make us feel better by apologizing and saying we would get a table by the window. Not impressed with her logic. Would probably not go back. Maybe if you're trying to impress a date, I would recommend Oliveto's, but it was a little too "stuffy" for my liking."

"Oliveto continues to be one of the outstanding restaurants in the area. Cooking creativity which hits the mark with terrific taste. The wines list is great, and the top notch servers know everything about the food and the wines. A real gem."

"I had not been to this restaurant in a while and found it, once again, a favorite. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. We were a party of 3 celebrating a special occasion and it was the perfect place to do it."

"It's a little loud and crazy. The noise level jumps up because you eat on the top floor of the building. It was surprisingly slow for a Saturday night, and it's common knowledge that when a restaurant is slow, they send people home and slam their remaining employees, causing guests to experience slow service. Very frustrating, though we didn't blame our poor server. The food, however, is incredible! Small portions and on the pricey side, but very tasty! I go for brunch most of the time to see a friend who works there. This was my first dinner visit. Most likely, I'll stick to brunch."

"Olivetto Restaurant has been a favorite of ours for years. This week it came through again with an interesting (if slightly pretentious) menu, delicious eclectic presentations and tastes, and wonderful, personal service. The dining room is peaceful and pretty, tastefully decorated and with a floral arrangement that is both spectacular without being overwhelming. The food and the ambience verge on magical, though the noise level is a tiny bit irritating."

"Oliveto's usually has good food, but we had a poor meal. My meat was tough there were supposed to be vegetables and I was served one forkful, and the dessert we sent back. It was a very disappointing evening with overpriced food and nothing special."
