  • "We arrived for our reservation at 6:45. We were told that one would probably be available around 8:15. We returned a few minutes before 8 and were seated immediately. It was a very hot evening, but the misters were on cooling the seating area. The last time I was there, they had changed their Caesar Salad, and I didn't like it. They did not charge me for the salad, and told me to ask for the old one next time I came in. I asked for the old one and it was no problem, and was delicious. I also had the Carpaccio, which is also delicious. I often have special orders (ie no onions) which is never a problem. The wine list has changed, and we were unimpressed by the wines offered by the glass now. Very romantic outside, too noisy inside."

  • "I loved vibe of this restaurant! I had salmon, though nothing creative to note, it was prepared to perfection. Hubby has mushroom risotto which sounded better than it tasted. Flatbread appetizer is enough for a meal. Next time we will do two salads, flatbread, wine and call it a night. The flaw is with outdoor seating. They are covered tables that can't be reserved but at least one of them surprisingly sat"

  • "My husband and I plan a meal at Olives each time we visit Vegas (about once/year). Two martins & the carpaccio starter are always on our bill. This time we went with the 'fixed price' menu + wine pairing. The food was good, though not the best we've had there, and the pairings were just OK. We enjoyed our meals out on the patio to have front row seats for the water shows. We will continue to keep Olives on the "must do" list of Vegas dining venues, but will likely skip the fixed-price option next time."

  • "Wanted a nice romantic dinner. Ordered the 3 course dinner. My wife an I ordered different dishes. They were all awful. We ate half our main dishes. Called over the manager. Paid for the full 3 courses and told her how bad it was. I slid to make the point that we were not looking to get anything other than our message that it was awful. My pork chop was 1/2 inch thick and completely grey and dry. Could have bought it for $2 at any Ralph's and cooked it better myself"

  • "I felt we were lucky to be sitting outside on this evening even though it was very warm outside. For our anniversary I felt it was more romantic and we had a great view of the fountain. The Red snapper I ate was very good but the sorbet we had at the end was spectacular. The waiter was nice and felt very bad about the lack of power throughout the hotel due to a grid issue. We didn't let it dampen our evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a special occasion."

  • "We went this weekend and it was one of the best dining experiences. We were sat quickly, our waiter was charming and thoughtful. The drinks were amazing: I had a glass of the Riesling, my friends had the summer sangria. Now the food. We hardly ever treat ourselves but this was so worth the money. I had the grilled sirloin with lobster tail. I don't know what the sauces were but they were an experience themselves. Overall we had an great time and I recommend this to everyone!"

  • "Made the reservation online table for 1. On the web site it said that patio sitting can not be requested and they just gonna sit you there is there is something available (who comes first thats who is getting a table). When i got to the restaurant i asked the host if there is anything available in the patio area, she said no. Then i passed by that area and it was 4 tables avaibale there. I asked the waiter and she told me it is not available. 30 min after i started my dinned( not in the patio area) they put one couple on the patio, and then anotger group of people. When i left there were still 2 tables available. So i am puzzled who gets those seats. TERRIBLE HOSTES AND 100% lie on website. Do not hope that u gonna get the patio table."

  • "The restaurant décor is nice and provides an elegant atmosphere. The service is good and our waiter knew his alcohol and was able to recommend some decent cocktail combinations. The sirloin was excellent but don't add the lobster tail as it is certainly not worth the extra $20 and frankly I wasn't able to eat it. The rest of the meal was great however. Doesn't seem like a good place for kids but since we had none it was perfect."

  • "I come to Olives just for the Carpaccio it is always amazing. We tried the summer menu, which was a hit all accept for the watermelon salad I didn't much care for the acidity and the combination of the feta cheese with the watermelon, it just be my personal taste. The server graciously offered to exchange the dish. We had the Pawns and the Grilled chicken both were excellent . Server explained the grains were a cold salad now for the summer which I was hesitant about but turned out to be a delight. The zucchini was crisp and fresh and the cold salad was fresh . Thought the price fix menu with wine paring is a great idea . Will get the wine paring next time . I recommend to everyone . Best Beef Carpaccio in Las Vegas or ever!"

  • "We made reservations for the restaurant online before arriving to Vegas. Olives was beautiful, when we finally got there. It was elegant, though slightly crowded, but that's to be expected on summer evening in Vegas. The food was delectable and different. Nothing that we ate was like anything we had ever had before. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The background music was a little obnoxious, but it wasn't loud enough to be imposing."

  • "4th visit from the UK to this restaurant, we love it and recommend to anyone we know visiting Vegas. Beef carpaccio appetiser is delicious and definitely large enough to share. A menu favourite. Shared the seasonal mushroom pasta and beef tenderloin for entrees and chocolate soufflé for dessert. Also delicious. Great wine list - some great Pinot Noirs and dessert wines. Ask for a seat outside - it is well worth the wait to be sat on the edge of the Bellagio lake with the fountain show as your background. Very Reasonably priced for quality of the food and the location. Chef clearly has pride in his food. Service exceptional."

  • "I had come here for a special occasion before and loved the experience so decided to bring my father here with my sister for his birthday. We loved our outdoor seating, service, and food but there was not special done for my father on his birthday. I remember Olives bringing out a dessert for my friend on her engagement and had hoped the same would be done for my father. But otherwise, it is a delicious restaurant with one of the best views (if sitting outside)."

  • "This is truly one of the best experiences of my life. What a pleasure to dine at a fantastic restaurant and also be treated to the continual fountain show at Bellagio. I've expereinced fine dining at many different establishments in Las Vegas and this is truly at the top of my list. Being able to sit on the outdoor patio is quite a treat and if you want to be sure to get a seat there I recommend coming as soon as the restaurant opens at 5PM. The outdoor seating has water misting to keep you cool during the hot summer months. The service was outstanding as our waitor stopped by often enough to make sure we were doing okay but not too often. All I can say is WOW!"

  • "I dined at Todd English's "Olives" restaurant at the Bellagio on the Fourth of July weekend and it was amazing. I the bread and olive tapenade they start you with is great. The breads were fresh and they provided 2 types of tapenade and fresh olives that were really tasty! I love olives anyway so there is no way they could really go wrong here. I ordered their beef tenderloin that was served with mashed potatoes that had caramelized onions running through them, all topped with a wonderful red wine demi-glace and tempura asparagus. There should have been more potatoes, but other than that, portions were good, the food was hot and all of it tasted delicious. I would recommend the food AND the view to anyone visiting Las Vegas."

  • "We shared the Greek Style Romaine. They split it for us and it was plenty for two. Delicious! We tried two different entrees so that we could share them as well. The Sea Scallops was a very tasty dish. It was a light main course. We also enjoyed the Crazy Mushroom Pappardelle. Very flavorful and plenty to share. Good wine list presented on a lighted tablet."

  • "The overall experience was fantastic. We ate on the patio overlooking the Fountains. The Greek salad was very good. Entrees were the daily special; chicken parmesean for her and a flat iron steak for me. Both were great. Chicken was lightly breaded and baked to perfection. The fun part came from the Fountains. First couple of shows were nice. A light mist after the final notes added to cooling us off. One show in particular had a wind gust at just the right time to blow nearly every drop of water onto the patio, soaking the unlucky ones who weren't protected by the umbrellas. We all had a good, hearty laugh. Management was very responsive for cleanup and re-makes of ruined food. The next show was Singin in the Rain! LOL!"

  • "If you want great food and even better service go to Olives at Bellagio and ask to be seated in Michelle's section! She was great! I needed help deciding between two dishes so she suggested that I get half of each. Who would have thought they would be willing to do such a thing! It was the perfect amount of both. She overheard us razzing my husband about it being his birthday so out came a little flaming dessert. Olives is a great pace to eat and wind down a bit after being at the tables all day. And being next to the fountains - well you can't complain about that!"
