  • "We shared the Greek Style Romaine. They split it for us and it was plenty for two. Delicious! We tried two different entrees so that we could share them as well. The Sea Scallops was a very tasty dish. It was a light main course. We also enjoyed the Crazy Mushroom Pappardelle. Very flavorful and plenty to share. Good wine list presented on a lighted tablet."

  • "This is truly one of the best experiences of my life. What a pleasure to dine at a fantastic restaurant and also be treated to the continual fountain show at Bellagio. I've expereinced fine dining at many different establishments in Las Vegas and this is truly at the top of my list. Being able to sit on the outdoor patio is quite a treat and if you want to be sure to get a seat there I recommend coming as soon as the restaurant opens at 5PM. The outdoor seating has water misting to keep you cool during the hot summer months. The service was outstanding as our waitor stopped by often enough to make sure we were doing okay but not too often. All I can say is WOW!"

  • "I dined at Todd English's "Olives" restaurant at the Bellagio on the Fourth of July weekend and it was amazing. I the bread and olive tapenade they start you with is great. The breads were fresh and they provided 2 types of tapenade and fresh olives that were really tasty! I love olives anyway so there is no way they could really go wrong here. I ordered their beef tenderloin that was served with mashed potatoes that had caramelized onions running through them, all topped with a wonderful red wine demi-glace and tempura asparagus. There should have been more potatoes, but other than that, portions were good, the food was hot and all of it tasted delicious. I would recommend the food AND the view to anyone visiting Las Vegas."

  • "We dined here with our three kids. Mind you, our kids love fine dining and are very well behaved when they are out. Olives was FANTASTIC! Our server was amazing at meeting all of our needs. We were tended to by 3 servers for our family of 5. We never had to wait for anything. Everyone working there was very hospitable and friendly. The ambience was spectacular. If you don't get a table on the patio overlooking the fountains, you can easily walk out for a couple minutes during your dinner to have a look at the amazing water show."

  • "I have been to Olives a dozen times and the service is always impeccable!! Tammy the Sommelier, knows her wines and has been there the last 15 years that I have been there. Try to sit outside on the balcony, it is very romantic. I love the olive pate and the steaks are cooked to perfection. I wish they would bring the rib eye on lobster bisque back it was to die for!! You will not want for more and will become a lifer like myself and all my friends."

  • "The overall experience was fantastic. We ate on the patio overlooking the Fountains. The Greek salad was very good. Entrees were the daily special; chicken parmesean for her and a flat iron steak for me. Both were great. Chicken was lightly breaded and baked to perfection. The fun part came from the Fountains. First couple of shows were nice. A light mist after the final notes added to cooling us off. One show in particular had a wind gust at just the right time to blow nearly every drop of water onto the patio, soaking the unlucky ones who weren't protected by the umbrellas. We all had a good, hearty laugh. Management was very responsive for cleanup and re-makes of ruined food. The next show was Singin in the Rain! LOL!"

  • "The food was very good, the noise level depends on how many people are there. The view of the water show is excellent since the place overlooks the fountains. The wine list is good, the prices are high. The Carbonara is inventive, but not one of the best around. The flat bread with the proscuto and fig is excellent and the flat breads are a strong point for the place. The service was above average. Would we go again, yes, but it doesn't fall into one of those "must go to" places."

  • "We have dined at Olives on numerous occasions and this trip was no different, other than we selected it for lunch versus dinner. I ordered the spicy mussels dish served over pasta and my husband had jumbo prawns over orzo. He said his was delicious - I did not sample.... My Mussels were adequate as was the pasta. I have had better. The waitress, Denise, was a bit aloof but again adequate. We will likely try Olives again out of convenience sake as we stay at the Bellagio but honestly I was not overly impressed."

  • "My husband and and I spent our 15th anniv celebration in Vegas. 5 days with a fine dinning restaurant booked for 4 nights and each night a show. All our experiences were really good except for Olives. It's not that it was bad, it was Awful!!!! We had a pair of signature drinks that were good but the two main dishes that we ordered were REALLY BAD. Mine was a pasta with wild mushrooms that tasted like bad tap water and had no consistency. I could not even eat it. It had no flavor, not even salt at all. My husband didn't eat his as well. I felt like my 5 year old could have made a better pasta. It was very sad and frustraiting beacause we were looking foward to this place Will never recomend it to anyone EVER We paid $$$ for really bad food."

  • "My girlfriends and I celebrating all of our 30th birthday's here. IT was so much fun. Our waiter Paul Anthony was excellent. He recommended all of our food and we were so happy with everything he picked. We were seated at the balcony and got to watch the Bellagio water show the entire time. We had a blast and when we told Paul that we all had met at UT 12 years before the pastry chef created a UT emblem out of chocolate on a plate and had candles on it to celebrate our birthday. We were ecstatic!!! Best experience at a restaurant in Las Vegas. I would highly recommend it."

Given that we dined on a Saturday evening and that this restaurant is in the bustling Bellagio in Las Vegas--you should expect was noise rush. Our waiter asked for both our drinks and dinner orders at the same time. No one asked how our meal was (it was quite good) or if we needed anything. The bar was hopping and is not separated from the dining area, thus occasional whoops and hollers permeated the room. Tables are close together. Despite all of this, the 3 of us enjoyed our meal and managed to have a conversation without yelling (we sat at a smallish round table--which helped)."

Although we were about 15-20 minutes late due to traffic, Olives honored our reservations (we kept them informed of our estimated time arrival). We were hoping to get the patio seating which would allow for a perfect view of the Bellagio Water Fountain Show. We did get seated inside near the patio. Regardless, our table and server were fabulous! The food...well, let's just say we wish we were staying longer so we could return to Olives for another dining experience! We are heading to Vegas in November and Olives is definitely one we will dine at again! Mahalo!"

  • "Dining in Vegas is an incredible experience and this restaurant did not disappoint. We were seated almost immediately thanks to our reservations, while we overheard walk ups being quoted a wait time of an hour. (Thank you, OpenTable!) the service was good, although our waiter was very busy with a couple of large tables. We sometimes had to wait a while before he was available for refills, etc., but he was always very pleasant. The food was very good and we would eat there again if there weren't just so many options to try in town! We would definitely recommend to others. One note: we sat inside, but I believe they offer patio dining that allows guests to view the fountains while they dine."

We were celebrating a special occasion.Our waiter did not even acknowledge us for 20 minutes and then proceeded to ignore us the entire evening while paying attention to the next table who were ordering drinks and more drinks. They were loud and obnoxious which was another reason why our experience was so unpleasant. Just the worst waiter ever."
