Our chic, modern private room accommodates seated events for up to 32 guests or standing reception events for up to 35 guests. Totally private, the room is situation in the front of the restaurant with direct access from the entrance. Black out window coverings offer total darkness for AV requirements, or enjoy a full floor-to-ceiling view of one of Toronto’s busiest and most iconic downtown corners. The Oliver & Bonacini team of dedicated event coordinators can assist you with all your planning needs, in this location or any of our unique private dining and event spaces.

  • "My girl friend and I spent the evening in Toronto, Sat 26 taking in a concert, being I fan of Michael Bonacini, we though it would a nice treat , I was disappointed in my food,, my girl friend ate Lemon , ricotta Ravilio which was good,, I had the shrimp scallop linguine, Very disappointed, I prefer my pasta el dente, I found it over cooked and a little starchy , the ladies to the left and right of us order the Mac & Chesse, which is a house favorite? ,, both tables left over half the dish and I overheard comments that is was on the dry side ,, we also had a $50 visa gift card which the waiter was unable to figure out how to process ,, I'm a fan of Michael Bonacini and I must say I was disappointed :("

  • "The location of your restaurant was perfect for dinner prior to going to the ACC. Our experience was very good although I felt the tuna with soba noodles lacked something. It definitely wasn't my favourite. The waiter was great however once it got busy he disappeared and we had to ask for the bill. Overall though I thought it was very good and would definitely go back."

  • "We ate at Oliver & Bonacini Grill Saturday night (July 19th) and were blown away by the service! Extremely friendly, nothing was a problem! The waitress did not blink an eye at my silly friend who kept trying to trip her up! She just played along with him! Oh and the food was awesome as well - my friend and I both had the Mac & Cheese - yummy! Definitely will go again when in Toronto!"

I would suggest more vegetarian options and gluten free friendly items on the menu but in general the food ordered was delicious and service good (waitress was a bit 'too' attentive, returning almost too frequently but otherwise good)."

  • "We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fantastic but the poor service of the waitress brought the whole experience down for us. We had to ask repeatedly for water she was inattentive and seemed completely indifferent to anyone who she waited on. The other servers appeared to be taking care of their tables quite well but ours looked like she would rather be somewhere else. We had made reservations and the place wasn't overly busy. There is no excuse for poor service like that in such a nice restaurant."

  • "I was at the Oliver and Bonacini cafe/restaurant on Saturday night, before going to ACC for a concert. The waiter has informed us that the kitchen was extremely slow, and recommended we order salads, as everything else will take too long to cook, could be close to an hour, he said. An establishment such as Oliver and Bonaccini surely should know how to plan their operations in order to serve their customers on a busy Saturday night, in the heart of downtown, and not send them off hungry, having paid more than $30 for a salad and a mediocre drink. I've been to this and the Bayview Village locations before,and never was I as disappointed with the lack of ambiance and service as this time. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of us."

  • "I'm a loyal O&B Cafe customer. I really like lunch and dinner here. The patio is great. The food and drinks are good. Brunch simply sucks. The eggs are overdone by about 15 minutes each time. The flavours are not balanced at all. The sauces on savory dishes are sugary-sweet. The bacon is underdone. Through several menu changes, the quality has not improved. I've been coming here for years and am really rooting for this place to step up its brunch game but each time I try to give it another chance, I'm disappointed as is everyone else at my table. I'm done trying."

My wife tried their sangria and thoroughly enjoyed it and loved her meal. I enjoyed my mean, but did find that one of my pieces of fish on my fish and chips was quite salty. Overall though, my wife and I will definitely be back to this great restaurant in the future."

  • "11:00 am Fathers day - - we were seated at a large table next to the stairs leading to the kitchen. as the restaurant became a bit busier ( nothing compared to weekday lunches) the noise level coming out of the kitchen skyrocketed. ALL of the noise was the chef yelling at the waiters to 'pick up' - very unpleasant for my 82/76 yr old parents, my wife and I, and to a lessor extent our teenage boys. we mentioned this to our waiter but nothing changed. the temperature very cool bordering on cold. our waiter was generally attentive even though it was a bit slow (not his fault)"

  • "A group of 8 of us went for dinner before a concert at the Sony Centre. We let the waiter know it started at 7:30. Drinks came & ordered the food which started to come in a reasonable time delivered by a number of different wait staff. One of our party had calamari and sweet potato fries. The fries came and he was told the calamari would be along momentarily. He waited & waited. No server could be flagged down & our waiter did not come by to check how we were or respond to waived hands and "excuse me's". He was very busy you could tell but the food never came & we couldn't get help until 7:10 when it was too late and everyone else had long since finished. I know mistakes happen but I was amazed when they charged him for his drink & fries!"

  • "Despite having a reservation, we had to wait past the time in the bar. Our table wasn't quite ready when we sat, and when we finally got our orders a half hour after ordering, my sister got the wrong order. That was quickly remedied, but the server threw the chef under the bus, which wasn't appreciated by this table in particular, since we were there celebrating my niece's graduation from the Culinary Arts program at George Brown College. Once the dining room emptied out a bit, service was a little more attentive. Scallops in the shrimp and scallop linguine dish were bay scallops. The menu should have specified this. Food was very good, though, overall. We'd go again."

  • "We reserved a table for five to coincide with the end of a graduation event at the Sony Centre across the street. We had never eaten at this restaurant and we were hoping for it to be special. We arrive an hour early and we were easily accommodated even though the restaurant was busy. Service was excellent and the food was very good. The only downside I noticed was with one dish -- the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine. Although the dish contained a fair amount of shrimps, I found no scallop in the dish. I didn't bring the matter up with the server as I wanted to keep the event happy, but I think that if you are adverstising scallops in a dish, they should actually be there. Otherwise, we had a nice time to cap off a great convocation ceremony."
