I got a little lost coming here. I thought the main entrance was through the office building entrance on Yonge St. (it's actually along Front St.) so I went through this entrance and there weren't really any signs directing me to where the hostess was, so I actually had to ask a server to help me. Once I actually got to the hostess, everything was great. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. I normally hate sitting in the patio but it was actually really nice and relaxing. Our waiter wasn't overbearing but paid enough attention to us and seemed to be available any time we needed something. I ordered the Mac & Cheese and it was okay. I've had better homemade but it was decent enough. Overall good experience.

The restaurant was not busy so the ambiance was a bit lacking;it is very large and well lit so not cozy if that's what you are looking for. Menu has something for everyone and there is a daily special. Sunday's was a roast beef dinner for $23; very reasonable. We started with a hummus/flat bread variety platter which was varied and delicious - large enough for 2 and possibly 3. Mains were 2x Roast Beef, 1 lamb and 1 Tofu salad. The lamb was a good size portion of thinly sliced lamb - I could not finish it since I had shared the starter. The Roast Beef served with yorkshire pudding was a thick chunk of steak which was unexpected so it didn't have presentation appeal but was good. The tofu salad ok. Excellent attentive service.

I love O&B restaurants and this was my first time at this location. The food was amazing and I wish that I could have just tipped the kitchen. The service was horrible. Our food was given to a different table, twice; we were totally forgotten about by our waiter and when we brought it up with him, he barely seemed to care. I won't be heading back here anytime soon.

As a frequent customer to O&B and their various restos (Jump, Biff's etc) I have been really disappointed with the O&B at Yonge and Front the last two times I have gone for a meal. The food has come out cold and at this last visit the service was somewhat cold and minimalist at best and simply a less than pleasant experience. I would choose numerous other restos in that are before returning to O&B Front street again.

Though the service was attentive, we found the food disappointing. Ravioli was tough, both salads were overdressed. Tasted more like a Milestones than what I'd expect from O&B.

Food was great but it took 10 minutes for anyone to even come to our table after being seated. Took another 10 minutes to even get our drinks... then after our food arrived no one checked to see if we liked our food at all! No server even bothered asking us if we wanted anything else until I sat there with an empty plate and an empty glass for almost another 10 minutes. The food was great but this is the third time I have been here and the service was nice but VERY VERY slow. Now I can see if the place was busy but it was not even remotly busy what so ever. I love the food and the decor but I am not sure I would return based solely on the speed of service.

disappointed this time around. I ordered the CAESAR SALAD, MAC & CHEESE and MARGHERITA pizza. The wait was very long considering what we ordered wasn't a big or hard to make order. The waiter did apologize for the wait. The pizza was VERY spicy and brunt a little too much on the bottom. My 11 year old daughter even mentioned how it was brunt to me! I've had this pizza before and raved about how good it was to others, but this time I wasn't impressed at all. I've never had it spicy before so I knew something was up. The salad and mac & cheese were good.

... when it opened. I am not sure the menu has changed much at all since its opening. I live in the neighbourhood so if I loved O&B I would be there weekly, but I don't love it. The 'after daily trading closes' crowd packs the outdoor patio bar every week night that you really wouldn't fit in unless you had a suit on and were with a pack of brokers. I much prefer other O&B locations.

Our server was pleasant no issues at all. Wife and I shared the snapper taco app which was excellent. The tempura shrimp was simply seemed to be regular batter at least not like any tempua I have ever had. Shrimp also was greasy and unappitising. We both had the short ribs which were rather dry. The accompnying hummus / kimchi was tasteless, we both left most of it on the plate. We didn't complain at the time, I tend not ever to do so. The restaurant was busy and as a consequence the noise was cafeteria like. To be fair our previous experiences have been fine.

The service was exceptional. Our wait person was vey intuitive to picking up on the fact that we were going to a show after dinner. He indicated that we would be accommodated for that timeline all while knowing that we were waiting on another person to arrive. Also I did a search of restaurants for that area and chose O&B for its prices and menu selections. My first time at this O&B in Toronto. Unfortunately the O&B in Waterloo, On closed and we were very disappointed when this happened.

My girl friend and I spent the evening in Toronto, Sat 26 taking in a concert, being I fan of Michael Bonacini, we though it would a nice treat , I was disappointed in my food,, my girl friend ate Lemon , ricotta Ravilio which was good,, I had the shrimp scallop linguine, Very disappointed, I prefer my pasta el dente, I found it over cooked and a little starchy , the ladies to the left and right of us order the Mac & Chesse, which is a house favorite? ,, both tables left over half the dish and I overheard comments that is was on the dry side ,, we also had a $50 visa gift card which the waiter was unable to figure out how to process ,, I'm a fan of Michael Bonacini and I must say I was disappointed :(

The location of your restaurant was perfect for dinner prior to going to the ACC. Our experience was very good although I felt the tuna with soba noodles lacked something. It definitely wasn't my favourite. The waiter was great however once it got busy he disappeared and we had to ask for the bill. Overall though I thought it was very good and would definitely go back.

We had a reservation for lunch on a Friday. My friend showed up and was casually dressed - Capri's and a T-shirt - she was given an up down look and told they didn't think they had a table for her. Lots of run around and finally got a table. No one came for 10-15 mins after I arrived. We ordered. My drink never arrived. No one checked to see how our meal was until they cleared the plate, ordered dessert and it took 20 mins for a slice of cake, then 25 minutes waiting for the bill - after we asked. Service was terrible and the food was over priced for what was served.

The waitress did not blink an eye at my silly friend who kept trying to trip her up! She just played along with him! We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fantastic but the poor service of the waitress brought the whole experience down for us. We had to ask repeatedly for water she was inattentive and seemed completely indifferent to anyone who she waited on. The other servers appeared to be taking care of their tables quite well but ours looked like she would rather be somewhere else. We had made reservations and the place wasn't overly busy. There is no excuse for poor service like that in such a nice restaurant.

I've eaten at this restaurant many (many) times, always leaving well satisfied. Sadly, the bouillabaisse was mediocre only - and less than that when the bill came and I realized it was $29. Otherwise, service was attentive without hovering; cocktails were delicious, and the caesar salad yummy! No room for dessert this visit.

I was at the Oliver and Bonacini cafe/restaurant on Saturday night, before going to ACC for a concert. The waiter has informed us that the kitchen was extremely slow, and recommended we order salads, as everything else will take too long to cook, could be close to an hour, he said. An establishment such as Oliver and Bonaccini surely should know how to plan their operations in order to serve their customers on a busy Saturday night, in the heart of downtown, and not send them off hungry, having paid more than $30 for a salad and a mediocre drink. I've been to this and the Bayview Village locations before, and never was I as disappointed with the lack of ambiance and service as this time. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of us.

Over all the experience was great. Food was wonderful, and our waiter was attentive. The only problem I would have to say was that they put us on the patio along Front st which is small and nothing special. I would have loved to be on the other "loungy" side, and thought by making a reservation I would have been.
