Excellent fine dining location without the stuffiness of Princeton. High quality dishes, eclectic menu and reasonable prices. By far the best dining spot in Bordentown.

The food was very good, but the prix fixe portions were miniscule. When we were there, the noise level was VERY energetic and conversation was a tad difficult to maintain. Our server was very accomodating, attentive and pleasant, and our water glasses were kept full at all times.

We enjoyed our recent dinner at Oliver A Bistro very much. Our preferred table by the window was available to us right on time. Our food was exquisitely prepared and capably served by the very personable and efficient "James" and "Joshua". It was a most pleasant dining experience. Previously we had only been to Oliver a Bistro for lunch which is also always excellent. We will be back!

Absolutely magnificent seared tuna appetizer done perfectly. Fantastic Osso Buco on perfect risotto. We have dined at Oliver a number of times and have never been disappointed. The ambient noise is at times overwhelming as the acoustics of the room are quite poor, but, one can put up with that for such outstanding food and service.

My duck confit salad was sensational. I especially appreciated the thoughtful, solicitous service. When there was a problem with my entree, the restaurant took immediate gracious and generous action. I was enormously impressed. As good as the food was, the restaurant's response to my comments alone would bring back time and time again. This is a genuinely classy, if down-to-earth, establishment.
