"We stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for 5 to 10 minutes even though we had a confirmed reservation. The food was just so, so. The Scottish salmon tasted a bit old. The service was very good once we got seated. The diningroom is very attractive. However, we will not return."

"Every single dish was a tasty morsel. I'd heard about the bok choy dumplings, so I had to give them a try. I had pretty high expectations (I mean, come on, people describe them as legendary!), which the dumplings exceeded. We both had a ceasar salad - good, but not quite anchovy enough for our taste. I had a special - mushroom tart - and hubby had something with seafood (that I can't eat - what a meanie). Both dishes were excellent. We ended the meal with dessert. Overall an excellent meal in a very pleasant environment."

"Forgettable. Particularly when extraordinary abounds. 20 minutes to order wine and 45 minutes to get it after asking again.
Told them we were celebrating our friends' anniversary and they said they would do something special. Nada.
Big, cold room without much ambiance. Halibut thick and dry."

"The food was excellent; service as well. I was particularly enamored with the black cod dumpling appetizer. The service was warm, friendly, and very professional. I loved the rennovated barn setting, warm lighting, and open kitchen. I would return without hesitation."

"Enjoyed Olive and Vine a great deal. Just down the road from where we were staying in Glen Ellen. John is an excellent host and can direct you to some wonderful local wines + suggest tours, etc. Food was very well prepared and presented. We'll go back when visiting Sonoma."

"Celebrating their 1st anniversary, they are really getting to be "The Place" for an intimate, romantic wine country dining experience. Wine list exceptional, perfect with their delicious, seasonal fare. A bit off the beaten path, but the payoff.....WOW!!"
