  • "I've been here a few times now and it's still my favorite place in the world. the menu changes seasonally (so just order it all ;) ). this time was a little louder than usual, but it was due to where we were seated. regardless the food was incredible and everything came out perfectly. always a treat"

  • "The ambiance was quite warm and inviting, but still upscale. The waitstaff was well informed and inspired confidence in the menu before the food arrived. The Farm Egg arrived hot and delicious...with a creamy polenta...not a complicated dish, but out of this world. The White Vinaigrette dressing on the salad was perfectly subtle. The house-made pasta was perfectly done (al dente) on the ravioli and the Wreckfish was tender with a sauce that is well seasoned with olives. Ask for Alex or Robert and you will be well taken care of."

  • "I heard about this listening to people at my hair salon talk about it, and I'm glad I checked it out. Went for happy hour/dinner with a friend and I really loved the design. If it had not rained earlier, I would have loved to sit on the patio, but the booths inside are great too. Good service, and some really interesting great flavor profiles in a couple of things we had. Some of the other food was just okay. Overall I would recommend and hope to go back!"

  • "Nice if you are in the garden. I was instead seated next to a potted plant with a view of an elevator door. I was also in the way, and people had trouble getting around my table. Very uncomfortable. I was happy when my meal was done so I could leave. The food was excellent though. Apparently it is nearly impossible to get a seat in the garden, so If I go again, I will ask to either get a seat at a booth or by a window. Reservations are highly suggested."

  • "Went there for a nice impromptu romantic dinner on a Friday. Reservation for 2 was easy to make, and done online. At the advice of the waitress, ordered four courses, no room for dessert though. Ordering the courses was a great idea, we split each course at the end of the evening we were stuffed. Some of the food was rich so you will get a little full especially if you are having drinks along the way. I would definitely recommend the risotto and stripped sea bass, yum! Ordering each course can be a little pricey but is the way to go. Great for a special dinner. Service was excellent and very helpful with selections. All in all a great experience."

  • "This was our first visit to Olive and June. We chose to sit inside, but the patio is just lovely. All of the staff were very pleasant, the hostess, the waiter, the runners, the manager even came by our table after dinner and chatted with us. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the perfect amount of attentive without coming to our table too much. We went early on a Sunday night so it was not busy. Regarding the food, we wanted to try a lot of different items, so we ordered a couple of piccoli piatti (small plates-but actually "small bites"), antipasti, salad and pasta, dessert, but no entree. Yes, this is the type of restaurant where they serve tiny portions on huge plates, but everything was delicious. Enjoyed the entire experience!"

  • "I always find Olive and June a "complete experience". It has delicious and interesting food, amazing wines and best of all, an amazing staff. Everyone seems to just love working there and it shows in the waitstaff's enthusiasm about the food, knowledge of the cuisine and their attention to the diners. I also love visiting with their sommelier (sorry can't remember his name). When you go, be sure to ask questions and get recommendations. They'll help make your experience all the more worthwhile. I also like that the valet parking is free."

  • "I order a bottle of wine at time of ordering appetizers. appetizers came and were eaten before i finally called the waitress over and she told me the problem was she was trying to get in touch with management as to whether she could sell me the wine since the year they had in inventory was not what i ordered and on the wine list. it still a another while before she came back, when she finally brought it, we declined and left. manager came over and apologized and comped our appetizers and tried to get us to stay. it was a real hassle. a few small children were in the restaurant and beating on chairs and being disruptive. not what we expected"

  • "I enjoyed the selection food and appreciate that the menu was not five pages long. A few things done well is much better than a multitude of choices done poorly. We had an early dinner during happy hour which made the appetizers very affordable. The food was wonderful. I do have to wonder why a right-sized portion of rabbit is served on what must be a 15 inch plate. It looked a bit ridiculous. It was a great 35th anniversary dinner."

  • "Every time I leave here, I leave saying "That was amazing" and "I love this place." Waiters are very knowledgeable and attentive. The ricotta cheesecake that is on the current dessert menu is INSANELY DELICIOUS. I have been thinking about it ever since I left the restaurant Saturday evening. Also, I am so glad O&J is tucked away in that charming little space and isn't downtown like most of the other restaurants I like to go to. If you haven't been, GO. It's so worth it. Also, go during happy hour and get the warm mozzarella, seafood fritto misto, and some drinks. Your stomach and wallet will thank you."
