  • "Olivadi offers great food. consistent cuisine, friendly and courteous staff, pleasant ambiance and gluten free choices. Reservation may not be available if you decide to make it on the same day you wish to dine. However the bar has a very large sitting section and is first come first served."

  • "Had a great relaxing meal which was not rushed despite restaurant being busy. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. THe food, as usual, was delicious. Can't wait for the patio to open!"

  • "Our second visit to Olivadi was as pleasing as our first. From the friendly hostess to the attentive lady who pours water, the staff was outstanding, especially our lovely server Leah. Our cosmos were exceptional. My seafood risotto and my husband's hefty pork chop were both delicious. We will be back soon as there are serveral more dishes that we must try. Again, our request for a quiet table was honored which is a real plus."

  • "If you love veal scallopini, this is the restaurant for you. It's my favorite dish and Olivadi does it so well. The beet salad is a hit too. Excellent food and service in the suberbs. A real gem."

  • "Great food at very reasonable prices. Service was very attentive as well. Pasta dishes are all fresh and handmade. This place is further proof that you don't need to go into boston to an overpriced Italian eatery for an outstanding Italian meal. The 14$ ravioli are an absolute steal!! Great for a date night and very affordable for a young couple on a budget!"

  • "Second time to Olivadi and our experience was equally as positive as the first. All of the customer facing personnel are genuinely friendly and that speaks volumes about management's priorities. The food was superb. I had the chicken parm and my wife had seared scallops. We both enjoyed our meals and the wine was memorable. This is the kind of place that you keep going back to because you know you'll get the same level of quality, service and ambiance every time."

  • "This is a neighborhood gem in the town of Norwood, MA. Has a great selection of entrees. Everything we ordered was delic! We tried the veal parm and the veal scallopini. Everything is a la carte so prepared to drop a few green ones."

  • "I had a resevation last Sat. for 5 at 7:45pm. We arrive a few minutes early and were told our table was not quite ready. We did not get seated until 8:30!!!!! As a group of Moms with young children we were not expecting to be finished with dinner at 11:00. The food and drinks were excellent but by the time we ordered they were out of specials and some of the desserts. Be prepared to wait even with a reservation."

  • "went with a group of girlfriends after a glassblowing class (luke adams in norwood) and it was the perfect day/night out - service was a bit slow but that may have been intentional so we could enjoy our conversation - not sure? Food was great; everyone enjoyed their meal and ambiance is wonderful....like dining in Boston -but in Norwood!"

  • "Great food, well trained servers in a lovely location in Norwood Center near the Post Office. Not your "usual" Italian with delicious and creative entrees."

  • "The general consensus of my party of 7 was that the food was good but not great. I definitely felt that the opentable review for the food was too high. Our server was very good. Friendly but not familiar. But the whole meal took a VERY long time. 2 hours in total for salad and entrees. We decided not to stay for dessert because we were afraid we would be there for another hour. Definitely don't bring your kids here. We had ours with us, and fortunately they were brilliantly well behaved that night and we had extra adults to help us. But even my oldest, who is very well behaved at restaurants (as they all are, but he can really sit for a WHILE) had to be taken for a walk for some fresh air."

  • "I have been wanting to go to Olivadi for awhile now and was glad I finally made it there. I made a reservation but our table was not ready, we were happy to eat on the lounge side though at the time we walked in. By sitting on the lounge side we were able to order from the full menu and the pub menu. Our drinks and food were great however the server was very unattentive. The gentleman the poured our water and brought our bread was much more personal. The server did not give us her name and she seemed to be annoyed with us. After finishing dinner we went to the bar for a second round of drinks and the bartenders were very friendly. Because the atmosphere is so intimate I think next time we will just go to the bar for our meal."

  • "We tried Olivadi for my boyfriend's birthday. We had an 8:15 reservation but arrived early hoping we could find a spot at the bar to wait. The bar was packed, fortunately we were sat early which we appreciated. The food was either good or flavorless it was one extreme to the next. The server disappeared for long bouts making it a long visit and I was particularly frustrated when we left that no one directed us or was even at the.hostess desk to find our jackets. Overpriced for the quality."

  • "This was our second time here and we loved it and brought two friends. I am GF so the fact that they can make me pasta and any dish I want and I can eat it, is a miracle. The restaurant is comfortable and beautiful inside. The food is excellent and this is now our new fave local restaurant! Thank you, thank you!"

  • "We got to the restaurant a little early for our reservation, but they seated us right away. Service was good, food was excellent, and no one rushed us. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out."

  • "After the theater, we dined early at Olivadis on a Sunday. From the white tablecloths to an outstanding waitress, we enjoyed everything. From the welcome at the desk to the end of our incredible dining, everything was superb. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff was warm and friendly. The food was scrumptious and served very hot. We will be back! JCW"

  • "Food was good (Lobster Fra Diavolo special could have been more Diavolo, but was good; Veal Osso Buco was great.) Service and atmosphere were wonderful--we had Anne as our server. Went for Valentine's Day."

  • "My husband and I recently moved from Boston and to be honest, don't go out to eat much in the suburbs. We figured that the best restaurants are all in the city. However, we tried out Olivadi for Valentine's Day this year, and were mightily proved wrong. The restaurant is tucked away in downtown Norwood and has a nice bar in the front area. We were seated right away and a series of wait staff greeted us at the table with requests to take our coats, choose our water preference, give us menus. The service was prompt and frequent. We tried the gamberoni appetizer; the jumbo shrimp were well flavored with a touch of sherry and served over bed of couscous. For dinner, the lamb chops were divine. Go for it! You will definitely enjoy."

  • "nice large salads with fresh ingredients; excellent food, entrees a bit small, especially the sides"

  • "Overall, a nice enough place ... just a tad pricey for what you get, but acceptable. Our early evening experience was marred by the fact that we got seated at the table closest to the kitchen door ... my view was a refrigerator! Probably should've asked to be re-seated, but didn't. Calamari appetizer was very good. Past bolognese sort of OK but not at all up to standards I've had other places. Waitress was very pleasant when we saw her, but not particularly attentive; took a few tries to get the drink I requested! OK ... but I wouldn't rush back before trying other places in the area."

  • "The food was wonderful, the service good. I would recommend the restaurant to my friend's. I would like would go back and try their lunch menu."

  • "Arrived early for a reservation and asked if we could get squeezed in early. A table of six was just about to eat in the bar when the hostess said they had room for them, so we figured it wouldn't be too long. We sat at the noisy crowded bar to wait, and wait some more while staring the whole time at an empty table right around the corner. My wife commented on it and we passed the next hour trying to find a reason why they wouldn't seat us at the empty table. Then finally when our original reservation time approached, we were finally seated...that's right...at the same table we had been staring at for the last hour. After that our service was fine and the food was excellent as usual, but the long pointless wait almost ruined it for us."

  • "We love Olivadi for a special occasion (it was my wife's birthday on our last visit). We also love to snag a couple of seats at bar and have something more casual, such as the beef tenderloin panini. Can't recommend it enough."

  • "Olivadi is beautiful inside, the menu has some unique choices and some classics to choose from. The appetizers were delicious! The main lunch courses needed a little salt across the board, but otherwise it's a nice spot. The service did leave something to be desired. The waitress was barely around and never asked how everything was once she brought out our food."

  • "Excellent food just wished I had had a little more on the plate!"

  • "We went twice within ten days in January, 2014. Beet salad was good but Caesar was just OK. Vegetable soup was good but onion soup was just OK. Shrimp Scampi was good but lobster ravioli was cold, fiberous and not good. Veal scallopine looked like a large fried and breaded pan cake. Pork tenderloin was good but a bit chewy. The gelato wasn't gelato, just American ice cream. The cheese cake was heavy, chewy and had little flavor. The service was mixed.....not fine dining!"

  • "Based on many recommendations from friends and colleagues we decided to try this out. It is not cheap for Norwood but that is Ok. I am always happy to pay a bit more for good quality and ambiance. Olivadi exceeded expectations. Aquitaine in Dedham which has gone way down hill will no longer be frequented by me - I will now go to Olivadi."

  • "We love Olivadi Restaurant. We have brought family and guests there many times. While dining we never feel rushed and it is so relaxing. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and professional. As you enter the restaurant you feel welcome."

  • "We were very pleased with our entire dining experience at Olivadii's; it. Is one of our favorites for any occasion. Never disappoints!"

  • "We found the food to be surprisingly good for the price. Scallops were cooked just right and the pork tenderloin was the juciest port I've had since Europe. The wait staff was very attentive and the dining environment was very comfortable. In short, this one's a keeper. It's about a 45 minute drive from our house but it's worth it."

  • "Great place to dine. If you dine later evening on a weekday definitely sit in the bar area because in the dining room you'll feel like the only one in the place, but the bar tables give a great feel!"
