  • "I went to Oli's for brunch on a Sunday. Even with the rain we were able to sit outside, there was decent coverage of the outdoor seating area with awnings and sunbrellas. The food was delicious, the orange juice was freshly squeezed, our waiter was adorable and attentive. I would absolutely return, I would probably make this a regular dining spot if I lived in the area."

  • "I'd looked forward to eating at Oli's for quite some time. We arrived at 7 PM to a room that was extremely noisy, and it got worse as the night progressed. The music was loud and those seated around us had to yell to be heard over the music. Conversation and enjoyment of our dinner companions wasn't to be had. The food was good. Creative. But the wine list suffered for the lack of French wines. We'd have ordered a bottle or two if the right choices were available. Our suggestion is to go at 6 PM when the noise level might be better, or for lunch."

  • "We three had a delicious dinner -- as always at Oli's. The tuna tacos and Mediterranean salad pleased all. Our martinis were excellent. We had to ask our waitor if there were specials, which he grudgingly recited. He didn't mention the Tuesday half price on appetizers, so when we asked, he even more grudgingly told us "yes". When we asked what items constituted "appetizers" while pointing at the menu, he grew impatient and and pointed at the top section of the menu. This is not the first time I have been subjected to this waitor's rude behavior. It's inexcusable. Next time if I see he will be waiting on me, I shall ask for another waitor."

  • "This was my fourth time dining at Oli's and I was very disappointed in he entire experience. At 6:30 pm there were no tables to be had outside. I think the reason is the noise level is unacceptable inside. Too many tables jammed close together. Even the booths offer little relief from the noise. I could actually hear the man sitting behind me better than my dinner partners. The service was terrible. One waiter for too many tables made for very slow service. Food requests were forgotten or ignored. All in all it was so disappointing that I won't go back unless I can get a table outside. Even then they need to hire more wait staff."

  • "Excellent choice for dinner when everyone wants something different but they all want good food. The strip steak was the surprise hit of the night. Who knew that strip steak with a bowl of rice and beans could be so tasty? Tuna tacos are always perfect and salads make nice light meals. Hostess was sensitive to the fact that we waited too long for our reservation and treated us to some anitpasta on the house. Wow! Good service and good food. Hard to beat this combination this close to the horse show."

  • "I went with my husband and two children for his birthday. We had Ivan as our waiter who could use a lesson in manners. Every-time we asked for something he was annoyed. He forgot my husband's wine order, served us burned bread and did not refill my beverage glass. The food was tasty but we were there for over one-hour and a half. The wine is overpriced. We paid $16 for my husband's half full pinot noir. A fairer price would be $9 or $10. The food is of good quality but the service leaves a lot to be desired for such affluent customers. I would recommend this restaurant if you have a couple of hours to spare and get a member of the wait staff who does not have a chip on his shoulder."

  • "Went for the early-bird menu (daily 4:30-6:30). 4-course menu. Portions were very large, well prepared and delicious. A bargain at $29.95. Happy hour with 1/2 priced house wines til 7 PM is a good deal as well at $5 per glass. My previous visit to Oli's was two years ago and the meal was a disaster. Glad I gave them a second chance. I'll be back soon!"

  • "Sat outside on beautiful Sunday evening. Very nice atmosphere for mall restaurant. Bread and olive oil- very good. Apps- tuna tacos, buttermilk chicken just ok. Brussel sprouts, mussels very good. Majority of menu items can be ordered in decent sized half portions. Mains- buffalo ricotta ravioli, fillet, salmon very good; tuna fabulous. Service - pleasant and competent if a tiny bit on the slow side. Interesting and odd: the same cheap heavy wine glasses used for water and wine. Don't be afraid to class up the stemware y'all! Place seemed to be filled with regulars - staff greeting people by name as they entered. Prices nicely reasonable for portion size. Me like!!"

  • "Having planned a special late lunch birthday experience for a friend, I had hoped the sidewalk tables at Oli's would be the perfect setting. Sadly, the poor service and cigarette smoke from other patrons detracted. Our lunch salads were adequate; however, the grilled chicken on both salads was over-cooked -- to the point of being inedible. The waitstaff were stiff and unsmiling, behaving almost as if they would have rather have been anywhere else. No part of the experience would encourage me to make reservations there again."

  • "This is a big open room that creates lots of noise, Very mixed crowd. But, food is excellent. Short ribs were tender and savory, bolognese was tasty, and rich, a touch chewy. Mushroom flat bread was delicious with rich mushroomy flavor and an ample cheesy base. The caprese was outstanding one night, with thick cut firm tomatoes and superb mozzarella, but with mushy tomatoes the next night It's obvious the chef put a lot of thought and attention into the food. This is a real winner The staff is very attentive despite the crowd, though our first waiter behaved like he was angry at somebody Reasonable wine list with a good choice of wines by the glass.. Fabulous vodka martini"

  • "Food was overpriced but very good. Had reservations but was told to wait at the bar, which I did, no one came to see if I wanted anything. Finally we were seated outside and had our drinks. Took long time for the server to come, when we finally got our food, the orders were mixed up, we had to "flag him down" when we were ready for coffee and desert. Waited way too long for that and for the check. For the price, we should have had much better service and been treated equally with the other diners that were there."

  • "Always enjoy dining at Oli's. Arriving at our reservation time, we were seated immediately. The server was friendly and gave us the right amount of time to order. The service can sometimes be slow, but this night it was exactly right. There is a great menu with different types of food from which to select and everything I've tried has been good. We did not feel rushed to leave and were able to continue our experience over coffee. I will be back."

  • "We have been to Oli's a few times in the past and didn't remember much about it. Have heard many people say the food is mediocre at best, but others liked it. So we had company from out of town and decided to give it another try. Making the reservation on Open Table took about 2 seconds. Our table was waiting for us when we got to Oli's. The service was great and the food was absolutely spectacular! We all loved the dishes we picked. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "I had the leftovers of my and my dates food. The waiter removed it to box up but threw it out. He replaced one entree instead. of giving ,me half portions of each. Very unhappy. He was too nonchalant about the whole thing. Won't be back unless an accommodation is forthcoming. I will either share my bad story or anr accommodation story with other diners in my set. What they do or don't do will be shared. Be classy Oli."

  • "We tried this place last Saturday night. It was packed. They honored reservations and delivered a great meal. the clams and antipasto were terrific. The swordfish special as well as the Tuna special and avocado was terrific. Try the short ribs they were delicious. Waiter was excellent upon serving main course saw one of the portions was small and returned with a new dish without being asked. This place is a winner."

  • "Have been here several times. Brought friends from NJ. I was so embarrassed. My friend ordered short ribs. Her plate came with a lot of grits, two thin slices of zucchini and the smallest piece of short ribs I've ever seen. It looked like it was 2.5" square. ($26)She never likes to complain so insisted that I not say anything. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon."

  • "I have made an effort to reserve a table the last four times I've gone there, and requested a table outside EVERY time. First, they had over-booked the reservations, so it took 45 minutes to get our RESERVED a table this last time, and AGAiN, inside and not outside, and stuck in a corner. This restaurant apparently has regulars who come in and have either paid them off to get the better tables, or are favored by the owner or management. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS restaurant ON MY OWN, EVER AGAIN, nor to any of the other three restaurants owned by this dishonest group of people. I AM OVER IT. I HAVE CAUGHT ON...overbook and sell more drinks. Defer tables to "preferred" clients."

  • "The best part of the meal were the apps. When the 6 dinners arrived, one was sent back for being cold, the other five were just warm. The waitress said that she would tell the manager. If she did, the manager must not have cared, because no one came to the table. The sixth dinner came after everyone else was finished."

  • "On a Saturday night this place is a zoo! They put in extra tables so that you can barely walk in or out. You can't hear yourself think from the noise level. The waitor is leaning over you to put down food on the other side of the table because he can't reach it. The food is good but the dining experience is horrendous . Don't bother with this one unless it's better after the "season"."
