There are about a half dozen choices-we had read the menu ahead of time-no surprises. We had the breakfast sandwich which is scrambled eggs that are flat, a glob of cheese, a huge open-faced, cheddar cheese biscuit, a sausage patty like a large silver dollar and diced potatoes w/peppers. The wimpy sausage looks silly on the huge biscuit. A fluffy scrambled egg, two smaller biscuits, and the same size sausage would be fine and a better presentation. After our waitress brought our drinks, she sat at the far end of the bar while we tried to get her attention. The biscuits were tasty and most enjoyable--if I ran the place I'd offer them smaller sized as an accompaniment to their very good bloody marys. For that we'd go back--brunch, no.

I've been to Pour House before and loved it, Which is why it's hard to rate them poorly. I showed up on time for my reservation and was told by the hostess that they don't take reservations on game days. I expained I had made one on open table and showed her my confirmation. She let me know we could wait at the bar until the end of the football games that evening and she would try to find us a table. As there were no available seats at the bar, we decided to go elsewhere. Great bar if you can figure out how to get a reservation there!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a door man to show your ID. Yes, even for dinner reservations. Two feet behind that gauntlet is the hostess; if you have a big group this will bottleneck very quickly so go in next to someone you don't mind being right on top of... The choices for adult beverages are MANY! The food was good but pricey for an ale house. It is a big place so you will get a table with ease. Wait staff seemed new, bouncer (an additional one from the one at the door) stood guard over our dinner area. Not sure why but they did not blend in like the secret service, rather stood out like police doing crowd control. Not a very welcoming feeling for dinner... I would not bring my parents or a date here

Our party was excited at the menu options. When our food arrived, all 4 of us were disappointed in the lack of flavor. Definitely not worth the high price for this bar food. 2 of us also ordered specialty drinks, which were very watered down. Not what expected from this restaurant/bar.

I like the look and feel of this place, and they have a large beer selection. Wonderful tv's. I had the pulled pork and I thought it was pretty good, and the pretzel bites which were also tasty. But every time I eat here, I feel like the food sits like a lead weight. I keep trying wanting to like it, but I never feel good afterwards. I would only recommend it for drinks unless you have a cast iron stomach.

So the food here was fantastic - basically slightly higher end bar food - which paired perfectly with the huge beer selection. We also loved that you could get 6 oz beers, so we were able to try quite a few different beers each. The service at this restaurant is definitely where the ball was dropped though, our waiter didn't come around very often at all - and when he finally did come around to ask if we needed another beer, he also asked if we were ready to order our food even though we had ordered already 20 minutes before that. He said 'oh that's right' and then it was another 20+ minutes until our food came - so obviously he had completely forgotten to put it in and didn't even apologize for it. I would still give it another chance.

Loved atmosphere, high ceilings, windows, comfy stools and enjoyed the gourmet twists on bar food! Had special appetizer with sweet potato puffs, gruyere and not sure what else but we all loved and devoured it! Very original! All our food was great, but Mac and cheese with truffles was the best! Only negative was that all tables seated were next to each other, even when tables turned, tho most other tables in front area were empty. Would have been nicer to be spread out bit more since restsurant was less than half full....we were there early and it was brutally cold night!

I have come here before for drinks with friends and really enjoyed it. The beer list is really extensive and I've found there's a lot of good options to fit whatever drinking mood I'm in. Same with mixed drinks and good scotch whiskey etc. However, I haven't eaten there before and was pleasantly surprised. I had the NY strip steak sandwich and it definitely hit the spot. Kind of wish I had ordered two. It came with fries which were decent. Plus I just had a fun time eating out with my friends, its a good atmosphere and the bar makes it easy to keep things going after dinner if people are up for it.

Good beer and wine list. Could you possibly have ONE more vegan option on the menu? Every time I go I have to have the spinach salad, which is good and filling but gets kind of old. Even just a black bean burger or something more hearty would be awesome. Fun spot, decent service, nice atmosphere/decor. Will be back since it is just around the corner.

I think if someone is a beer connoisseur this would be a great place; especially if you have deep pockets! Specialty beers are pricey. We had the gumbo and shared a chicken ceasar wrap-- food was okay. It wasn't crowded when we were there, but we waited about 5 minutes or longer for someone to take our order--perhaps the shifts were changing at that time. I'd recommend Pour House because the beer selection is phenomenal, but be prepared to pay for a small brew.
