The Pour House was a very good place for football watching. We needed a place near Drury Lane to spend some time before our play and this fit the bill. We were able to watch football and enjoy a few drinks and good food. Our waitress was excellent making sure we were satisfied with whatever she brought us. The food was very good especially the pickle chips! We would definitely recommend the Pour House to friends.

A sports bar, with bar being the operative word. There are only a few items on the menu, and our party of 4 did not find anything prepared well. The burger was tasteless and dry; the firecracker appetizer despite being deep fried was also really dry; the pulled pork was a soggy mess; the salad had numerous pieces of brown iceberg lettuce - yuck! Also, it was so noisy, we couldn't hear each other talk without shouting across the table. There are many, many good restaurants in Oak Brook. Do not waste your money here.

The food was good (blackened Cod Sandwich and the BBQ chicken) and the beer was excellent but the noise level was very high, especially with the TV screens turned to high volume. We were seated outside and it was still pretty loud.

Incredible beer list. I always start with a full pint, then go experimental with samples. Try the Goise Island brewed with saki, or the blueberry apple cider. By no means leave without the chili (it's really a bowl of BBQ!)

I LOVE the BBQ salad and corn bisque soup. The outside dining is great but if you want the noise of the game and all the cool TV's then head on inside. Our service was great and the prices are reasonable.

I liked the ambience. The menu was varied with good price points. Service excellent. My guest had the burger which looked good. He sure wolfed it down. I made the mistake of ordering a sandwich with cheese and pork belly. It sounded good. About half way through it, I realized that I'd been engrossed in deep conservation not realizing that it was really bad! A bunch of goopy cheese with bits of meat tasting stuff. It was lousy but I'd eaten too much to send it back, which I am always hesitant to do anyway. I sure didn't wish to finish it. Took it home to the wife and, with no prompting, she hated it, too. So, this restaurant is a good place to go but stay away from this sandwich. Great beer/ bourbon selection.

We had lunch for the first time and really enjoyed this place. Only problems were :the lettuce used in the salad was old! You don't expect that at a place like this. Also, the coffee, both regular and decaf was way too weak. When we questioned the server she said it was premeasured. Well, they either need to use less water or change coffee vender brand. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and they charged us for the dessert they brought for the birthday gal. Most places comp this. As far as positives, the best french baguettes, great food, great atmosphere, great service , and the best nickers peanut butter dessert we ever had! I do recommend this restaurant.

The outside seating was at capacity, but there was plenty of room indoors. The drink menu is noteworthy, including imported and domestic ciders that can be ordered as a half pint or more, much more limited in food choices. The burgers are excellent and prepared to taste. Not too many booths or lower tables--extensive bar seating of course, mostly high tables with stools and of course at the bar if that's your interest. Media viewing is extensive and not blasting you out of your seat--nothing else like it in Oak Brook, parking is awful even with Valet.

The place can be on the loud side, especially if there is a big sports match on the TVs. But the food is amazing and I can always find a new beer to try. I love coming here in my quest to try all of the beers they offer. This place is great for a dinner with their "small plates", but it also great to come a little later just for some appetizers and beer.

Fantastic beer list, but average food lacking presentation (esp. charcuterie). Chili tasted off, needed salt? Server was very good. Even though the outdoor dining must have gotten much busier than management anticipated due to weather. Friendly, professional host (manager?). Biggest complaint...horrible loud industrial music may fit in fine at city locations, but very out-of-place (and annoying) for Oak Brook clientele.

All our first time to Old Town Pour House. Originally planned on eating in but it was so extremely loud inside that we chose to eat outside instead. Biggest complaint is all the burgers were overcooked. Instead of medium rare we got medium well, if it wasn't for the good toppings, we would have definitely sent it back. Not sure why so many restaurants can't cook a burger correct?!?

We went here for the first time for my husband's birthday & had the burgers, which were pretty good. I noticed, while looking at the other diner's plates, that for those who ordered foods other than burgers, the portions were pretty small & pricey. There is no bargain to be had here for the prices that are paid to dine at this establishment. They did meet my dietary restrictions, which was great & they did give my husband a birthday dessert "on the house". In all ways, from service to food, this was pretty average and I'm not in any hurry to return here.

I had the fish and chips, which were very bland. The slaw was just ok. And I practically had 6 fries to go with it. We opt to sit outside on the patio, which was very nice. The beer list is very extensive. It was my first time dining here. It's close to my job and I had the opportunity to get 1,000 open table points. I would come back and bring my fiance since he is a big beer drinker. The food list is very minimal. I would come at night just to sit on the patio.

it was a beautiful night to sit outside, so we went here to enjoy the weather, get dinner, and try some the of brews on the extensive beer menu. The beer menu is multiple pages long, while the food menu is only a couple. We ordered a burger, brisket, fish and chips, fish tacos and the special of a shrimp salad, so a decent sampling of varied food items. They were subpar at best, with the fish and chips and salad being the worst of the bunch. So, if you are going for food, choose one of the many other options in Oakbrook. If you want to sit outside and enjoy a few drinks, try this place.

This was our second time dining at the Pour House. While the atmosphere is busy and upbeat, the food is just okay. The menu is decent but they just don't deliver as far as the food. I always enjoy Old Town Pour House, it's a great place to meet clients, because there are so many beer selections, but also because the menu selections are so varied. The chili is great, can't say enough about the cheese curds, and you simply can't beat their burgers! We had excellent service, we were able to relax and talk without being rushed, but when we needed something, the staff was extremely attentive and professional. Across the board - a perfect lunch experience! Split the chili which is phenomenal, than each of us got a sandwich - the smoked brisket and the pulled pork. Definitely a delicious meat overload of the positive kind, and that's what OTPH is known for. Both sandwiches were amazing, each with its own special bread and perfect accompaniment. The coriander slaw on the pork, the gouda on the brisket - WOW. Coupled with the parsley fries, we were in a food fog heaven. Portions are enough that one can gorge and still have a decent portion for later. Their outside area is so comfortable and so inviting. We could have remained there all day, even if we left after 2 hours and never were we rushed. Service is friendly & attentive. Never an empty glass!

Old Town Pour House has become a regular spot for us to catch a quick bite in good weather. The outdoor dining is all high tops and with enough room in between to be a pleasant experience. While very noisy it is definitely a great place to catch some unusual bites, a unique brew and watch a sporting event on one of the two TVs. Definitely recommend this bar/restaurant for locals, visitors and groups that want to come together over food and drink in the beautiful Oak Brook setting. Small and unusual bites are fun to try but they are expensive. Limited fuller menu offerings. But if you want to sample some beers in an upscale setting definitely a top spot.

While there wasn't a large crowd for lunch, the service was slow. The waitress was not really attentive when it came to my food allergies which always makes you nervous about the preparation. Despite noting gluten free on my order she served me a salad with croutons and pushed desserts that clearly weren't gluten free. Oh well, not sure I'll return when Wildfire is right next door and knows how to handle gluten free dining

Old Town Pour House is about the beer and in that regard it does not disappoint. With 90 selections on tap there should be something for craft beer lovers to enjoy. My beer snob hubby (self-proclaimed) tried three different double IPA small pours and came out with a clear favorite. The food was decent to good but nothing special - I had the pulled pork which was a little dry and my hubby had the fish tacos which he felt lacked a bit of oomph. Our server, Rick, was attentive and fun and the restaurant manager, Nick, made sure he chatted up each customer. My biggest complaint was the noise level. The music was so loud we had a hard time conversing. Because the craft beer will be calling we will no doubt go back again. :)
