"We were looking forward to a special night out and were unfortunately disappointed. It started with an ambivalent waitress and continued with the food. The halibut was so over done it had to be sent back. Sauce for the steak was salty and seemed to come from an envelope. In fairness however, the steak and Caesar salad were both very good. Ambiance was nice. This clearly was a special place in its day."

"Let's start with a bright note - the service was excellent. The food was very disappointing for the price paid. I didn't even know you could buy, what looked like to me, a 3-ounce filet. I would expect the professionals to prepare a meal that would be better than I can make at home. Sorry, we will never eat here again."

"Food - fantastic. Prepared to our liking, creative combination of ingredients, wonderful flavors. Service - fantastic. Servers were attentive, but not hovering - allowing for conversation, but also focused on keeping coffee, water, etc., filled, and allowing time between courses. Ambiance - great. It was a quiet evening for good friends and conversation in a quiet atmosphere. Tables are set far enough apart to allow privacy in your conversation."
