Okeanos RestaurantAwesome Greek spot!I have to say I was amazed by just how much I liked the food here. I'm not a picky eater, but I have to say this place is in my top three for Greek food that I've had outside of Greece (the other two places are in Miami and LA). Among our group we tried most of the fish dishes and they were all excellent. The Greek wine was pretty good too. The starters of vegetable chips and calamari also met the same standard. The ambience was ok - homely but nothing fancy. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Can't point to anything that didn't meet our expectations in the food. Their staff is helpful and knowledgable, they're willing to answer questions about ingredients, and make modifications if needed for dietary needs. They have a large variety of fish choices on their menu, and the fish is fresh and deliciously prepared. Nice selection of wines as well - we selected a bottle of wine that was a Greek Red. Not too expensive and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant is not fancy, casual but tastefully done. There was a mix of young and old, as well as families with kids. I would recommend and will definitely return to try other food selections. The staff was very accommodating with our elderly parents and with our two allergies (gluten & oregano). We usually do not like prefix menus but Okeanos' was nice and broad and very affordable. The brunch is offered until late (4pm) with still very good and fresh food (not what's left from the early brunchers).
Servers are friendly and not stressful.
