The brunch menu is simple but has something for everyone who likes real, home-cooked Mexican food. We were not sure there would be enough options for our Vegan daughter. But there was and the staff was VERY accommodating, providing her every substitution she asked for, Food was fresh and tasty and we will be back!

This was our 5th or 6th time at Ofrenda. Excellent food and the cucumber margaritas are amazing. Service is good, maybe a little rushed. Menu prices are a bit high for what you get. Entree portions are small, but reasonable. Nothing comes with sides and the sides are wildly overpriced for what they are. Every other restaurant we dined at while on this trip was high-end and Ofrenda was, by far, our highest bill. The tables are very crowded compared to other NYC restaurants and the noise is ridiculous. We couldn't hear each other, so we stopped trying to have a conversation. The food (and margaritas) might be reason enough to go back at some point, but with all the more desirable (and more affordable) options out there, I'm not so sure.

I came here with a friend to catch up over dinner. We ordered the Elote (mexican street corn) and guacamole to start. We were very happy with both. The guacamole is really chunky with large pieces of avocado which I really like. The corn was excellent! I ordered the shrimp tacos and she had the fish tacos. We were both very happy with the them. I thought the drinks were a bit over priced for the location, so we only had one with our dinner. On a Tuesday night it was quite full with a moderate noise level.

My boyfriend and I found Ofrenda when trying to get a table at Agave and for the 2nd or maybe 3rd time the host and even manager was just rude. We quickly opened up our app to see what was close. Ofrenda was across the street and we thought we would give it a shot and it's been a favorite spot of our for brunch since. Love the spicy Margarita!!

My friend arrived 10 minutes early but could not be seated until I arrived. When we were finally seated there was some chaos around seating two 5 tops and my friend and I did not receive menus for a few minutes. After that issue was resolved, our friendly waiter approached and took our orders. The quesadilla, fish tacos, and plantains were great. Margaritas were a little sweet for my taste. Out server remained attentive and comped us a margarita when our second round never arrived after we ordered.

I chose this restaurant through a search on Yelp and was not disappointed. The food was plated very elegantly but it is somewhat of small serving. I did not mind because my cousin and I ordered several items from the menu, such as the tuna tacos, shrimp tacos, scallop salad, and a main course that had steak. The steak was so moist and juicy that it lingered in both of our minds after leaving. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The drinks were fun too. I tried one call "The man with the thick accent" which was sweet and spicy. Loved my overall experience. I would definitely recommend!

We booked a late dinner 9+pm and arrived a little late. Our table was waiting for us and the servers were super friendly and accommodating. Too bad by that time there were a few extremely drunk customers who were loud and unpleasant. It was hard to hear anything let along to have a conversation. Sad to see that going out to a Mexican restaurant will mean to some people to be so rude and inconsiderate. I would come back at a better time. Food was really good, but we gave up talking. Could't hear a thing.

Ofrenda is the best place I've been to in a long time. I've come her for brunch and dinner a few times. If you want something a bit different and ridiculously delicious, this is your spot. The guacamole is amazing and they make their own chips. I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita. I had a shrimp, cactus, enchilada the other night that was exceptional! The service is always wonderful, and the ambiance is nice, if you are inside it can get a little loud depending on who is next to you. Try to get a table outside, you won't regret it.

You should Try the Suadero tacos, shrimp tacos !!!!!! ceviche is to die for and the Chicken with Mole is a must. As for drinks my love goes for the jalapeño margarita and Devil in Oaxaca. Service is very fast and friendly! Is definetly a gem in jazzy West village. If you are looking to go somewhere to have an ethnic, spicy magic experience.... This is the place.

There was no air conditioning when we arrived, so we asked to be moved closer to the window when a table became available. When one did, they moved the table next to us who had arrived and asked to be moved after us. We watched several tables around us get their food ahead of us, only to have all of our dishes appetizers and entrees arrive all at once. The staff tried to be apologetic about the disorganization, but seemed helpless to do anything about any of it. Some of the dishes were delicious, better than average Mexican fair, but not all. The quality was definitely inconsistent. The next day, we received an email from OpenTable telling us the restaurant had marked us as "No Shows." Should have marked us as "Won't Be Back."

The lighting and lively atmosphere were perfect for a date. This spot offers a 'hole in the wall' feel with great ambiance and dim lighting which cast a charmingly romantic appeal. Their cocktail list is amply supplied with some must try specials, and the house margarita had just the right amount of tequila and lime mixed. The menu lends itself very nicely for sharing on a date.

Do not go there. It's just not worth the money. We had booked a table but still got to wait a good while just standing there. The volume of the local is terrible, you can not hold a conversation in there. They are trying to squeeze as much people as possible in to that small space and then rush them through dinner. What made me most disappointed, however, was that the food was not good. The guacamole was okay but the main course (enchiladas) was so disgusting that we could not eat it. Enchilada with beans swam around in a loose brown sauce. Oh it was so disgusting. Our waitress was pleasant and did their best. Go somewhere else.

I was excited to go here as the Yelp reviews were good...however from the time we hit the door we were rushed from start to finish. When I asked about but, she initially said it was because she wanted us to order to get the happy hour prices. When I told her I was concerned by that, the rushing didn't stop...and while it was busy they did not have people waiting. It was just uncomfortable service and I will never return to that restaurant again.
