Would not accept Open Table Dining Cheque. Request for window table for special occasion was ignored, reservation was made well in advance for this to be honored. Noise level was LOUD. EXTRAS ON LIMITED MENU WERE OVERPRICED.

The food, ambiance and dancing make this a great special occasion spot. We did need to remind our server of a couple of upgrades we had purchased but all issues were promptly addressed and the evening was a complete success. We upgraded to the filet, but the standard meal choices were abundant in quantity and were very appealing. A fun choice for a dressed up night out.

  • Not bad but the circling

The boat makes you feel like you are on a merry go 'round as the boat go in circles about 8 times during a 3 hr cruise. I was expecting a longer 1/2 hr up along the lake shore and back to Navy Pier. Service was mediocre at best. The food acceptable, nothing to right home about it and look warm. The Seafood linguine was greasy, the steak, an up charge of $19 was tough. The desert was served on a buffet style and again nothing good. Was glad I did it once but will not do it again.

We booked a dinner cruise on the Odyssey in late August in celebration of a significant birthday and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and more than substantial (the lobster tail was fantastic) and the service was excellent. Dining while viewing the magnificent Chicago skyline is quite simply a wonderful experience. An added treat was watching the fireworks while sipping a glass of wine on the top deck sitting in comfortable sofas being entertained by the talented guitarist. The entertainment on the other decks (DJ) was very enjoyable and allowed those of us of "a certain age" to slow dance. I recommend this dining and sailing experience to everyone (but keep the kiddies home).

It is very good for special occasion for special evening to remember. Food was quite good, but I rather have more fish dish selection. But atmosphere and out side of Chicago night line is excellent view! And you could certainly enjoy beautiful fire works in the end of the cruise finale at Saturday night! Thanks for the memorable cruise dinner!
