Odeon Cafe Italian CuisineOne of My Favorites.What can you say about the Odeon Cafe other than it's like an old family friend. The food is aleays good, the staff and ownership friendly and engaging and the atmousphere relaxed and comfortable. Whether alone, with a friend or with a group, it never dissapoints. Whenever a group gets together and is at a loss as to where to go, the mention of Odeon Cafe brings everyone to agreement. Very reasonably priced right in the vibrant DuPont circle area if Washington DC. Familiar Italian fare with a pleasant, unique taste with very broad menus very well done. Excellent attentive service like most family Italian restaurants. Right from the beginning we were sat promptly at our reserved time, The gentleman who sat us also waited on us, he was engaging friendly, talkative and made us feel right at home, service was outstanding, food superb, Odean was an overall wonderful experience. What made me love this place was the service. I went with a group for brunch, and the service was fantastic. They kept us in bottomless mimosas until we asked them to stop, and were just very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back for brunch except that Odeon does not offer bottomless mimosas without a daily deal coupon. When the price of a waffle and one mimosa is $16, or there are deals for one entree plus bottomless mimosas or bloody marys for $16, it's hard to justify paying full price.
